Make Myself Amazing

I've been thinking about a few things that I could change with my physique. I guess the standard workouts in the gym seem a little hard for me these days. My friends and co workers already know that I really am suffering from diets I could never stick to. If you were in my shoes you will take things like this differently. You never really feel how it is because you are not in this situation. My arms are good since I have huge biceps and all that but I still have to work getting a little thinner and hope to have washboard abs sometime soon. I know it is a long shot but with the thousands of pesos I've spent for gym fees, I am considering surgery.

As shocking that may sound my friends and fellow men I am seriously considering going under the knife. I've been a piercing enthusiast for the longest time so I don't think anything like this would be more painful. Let again my own confidence is suffering because I am starting to look ugly when I face my self in the mirror. Again, you wouldn't understand what I'm saying if you are not me.

There are a couple of clinics in the country performing different procedures that I could have to resolve my problems. I don't need to fix my nose anymore because that's one part of my body that I love. My eyes are quite attractive based on the people that really know what it looks like. My lashes are naturally curled up by default and a lot envy me for that. Now my problem is my abdominal area, but the procedures would probably call for a few sections to be fixed so it would look natural. No I don't need to consider boob jobs since my chest area is standing tall and proud. Men actually do that in the US and UK to look perfect in the upper part of the body. It is also called breast and pectoral enlargement and is good for people who are in need of a better chest frame. A popular cosmetic surgery clinic called M.Y.A. (Make Yourself Amazing) offers the said service and has a lot of good looking guys lining up for the procedure because unlike cheap pop up shops that proliferate in this side of the globe, they have experts that can do it for you. It normally takes an hour to do so if this is what you plan to have. I on the other hand am looking forward on their state of the art liposuction procedures and that would probably take more time. Recovery would also be a lot tougher, but I don’t think I would have to worry. I know now that if I ever consider having it done, I’d fly to the UK and have M.Y.A. do the job. This is where I feel everything would be safe and I’m sure I’d really be taken cared of. Because I know I deserve to make myself look amazing!

Happy Happy New Year Everyone!

I'm so glad that its raining outside... not that I am killjoy but I am better because a lot of people would not probably be able to light up their fireworks and add pollution in this smog inhabited country. I also hope it ain't a noisy New Year... I already sent my greetings to friends and enemies... so that's good... I hate what happened today at home... I won't tell you why because that part is REALLY PRIVATE!

Let me see... uhm... I guess I have to thank a lot of people first... so THANK YOU for being part of my site and my life. I know I still have a lot to learn about writing but this is a start.

I'll be posting some favorite stuff later... check that out! ok?

Zenni Optical : The Freedom to Choose

It’s a holiday today where I am; a day for the national hero of the Philippines. In this part of the world, there are hundreds of eyeglass retailers offering their best prices to woo customers into buying their merchandise. If you think about it though, their prices have changed dramatically over the years. Things definitely became expensive and some people would rather battle out their eye problems and endure the pain than to pay for spectacles. These are much like heroes in the movies, where they get hurt in the beginning; but this one is for the books.

In the recession that is shaking economic confidence around the world, people need to have smart choices in order to save money. These are tough times; even the US President elect acknowledges it. We are at an era where every single dollar saved counts. Instead of getting expensive prescription glasses from your optometrists or ophthalmologists, you can always have these instead. Paying eye glasses for $300 - $400 a pop just isn’t right anymore. I like these $8 spectacles I saw when I checked out their website.

The high end, fashion forward groups are all for signature/designer glasses. They don't really care about the prices. They know things that look good on them. What if you had the best of both worlds? Holiday frames on their website shows you lots of models fit for any lifestyle. What if you had the chance to get what you want that looks good on you yet stays affordable? Thousands have made their choice and opted to buy in this online store http://www.zennioptical.com. They have been featured in a few shows in the U.S. like Good Morning America and Fox News. There are a lot of people attesting to the quality of the eyeglasses from them, so why be left behind? Your freedom to choose dictates one thing, http://www.zennioptical.com.

KUMAGCOW MOOOVIE REVIEWS: Tanging Ina Nyong Lahat!

Sunday, December 28, 2008

AiAi Delas Alas in the sequel of her hit movie... hits theaters Dec 25

Yesterday was great. I and my wifey had time to watch a movie. I found myself immediately lining up for "Ang Tanging Ina Nyong Lahat!"paid the expensive tickets as my wifey bought popcorn and drinks. The movie is one of the entries in the 34th Annual 2008 Metro Manila Film Festival. The occasion is considered historical because it included an animated film for the first time as one of its official entries. Of course it was this movie that I watched because I had the chance to watch the first one last year with friends. With the few Filipino films I watch, its quite optimistic to see that I never fail to support one of the most hilarious persons I know (Ai Ai Delas Alas)... not to mention I was really laughing hard because of my personal comedic idol Eugene Domingo. I strongly recommend you watch this one specially the part where they were stopped by PSG... Eugene was particularly crazy there!

Tanging Ina Nyong Lahat was lots of fun!
Trailer from Star Cinema

The awards given in the festival was okay... nothing that is not expected... they still play in the canned box of givng awards that have quality instead of entertainment value at box office gross:

Best Director - Mark Meily (Baler)
Best Screenplay - Baler
Gatpuno Antonio Villegas Cultural Award - Antonio Villegas (Baler)
Best Supporting Actress - Manilyn Reynes (One Night Only)
Best Supporting Actor - Philip Salvador (Baler)
Best Actor - Christopher De Leon (Magkaibigan)
Best Actress - Anne Curtis (Baler)
Best Cinematography - Lee Meily (Baler)
Best Production Design - Aped Santos (Baler)
Best Editing - Danny Anonuevo (Baler)
Best Visual Effects - Robert Quilao (Dayo: Sa Mundo ng Elementalia)
Best Busical Score - Jessie Lasaten (Dayo: Sa Mundo ng Elementalia)
Best Theme Song - “Lipad” by Jessie Lasaten and Artemio Abad Jr., performed by Lea Salonga (Dayo: Sa Mundo ng Elementalia)
Best Sound - Albert Idioma and Wally Dellosa (Dayo: Sa Mundo ng Elementalia)
Best Original Story - Jose Javier Reyes (One Night Only)
Best Child Performer - Robert Villar (”Shake, Rattle, and Roll X”)
Noli Villalobos - Best Make-Up (”Desperadas 2″)
3rd Best Festival Picture - Iskul Bukol 20 Years After
2nd Best Festival Picture - Tanging Ina N’yong Lahat
Best Picture - Baler

They also release initial day figures for these movies, mostly the one I watched and Iskul Bukol... 20 years after had the highest earnings since they have a huge fan base.

1. Ang Tanging Ina N’yong Lahat - 20.9 million pesos
2. Iskul Bukol… 20 Years After - 18.9 million pesos
3. Shake Rattle and Roll X - 13.1 million pesos
4. Desperadas 2 - 7.0 million pesos
5. Baler - 5.3 million pesos
6. One Night Only - 1.5 million pesos
7. Dayo - 1.2 million pesos
8. Magkaibigan - 0.6 million pesos

In these tough times, people still need to laugh. You couldn't even see that we were in a recession because of the millions of pesos that went into the movies. Filipinos are really weird... when the world is in the economic crunch we find ways to be happy. That's what's great huh?!

Pope Benedict XVI Christmas Message

Thursday, December 25, 2008

Pope Benedict XVI waves to faithful during the 'Urbi et Orbi' (to the City and to the World)

The Pope's message this Christmas season was simple... "DO NOT BE SELFISH".. in the world where the existing problems are also haunted by today's crisis, he asks everyone to decry a simple thing... selfishness. I know for a fact that there are people who earned millions in the banking industry. These bunglers spelled the collapse of the world's biggest corporations... and they should be the one to follow these words.... that's if they know how to do it... and if they really know what it means. They are all greedy.. and they should be put to jail for doing this to the world's economies.

Other parts of his speech included those who are at war, those who are hungry... we all should do our share to help them in any way we can. What if you lived in that part of the world? Would you weather hunger in Africa?... would you dodge bullets in Israel and Palestine territories? He's right.... we all should do our share to help... I hope he visits countries next so he could inspire people to do his deed. =) Merry Christmas everyone!

Knowledge is Power On Payday Loans

Knowledge is power on payday loans.

There are several people I know in the country that would not be able to survive tough times because they seldom run out of funds in the bank. This happens if there are some minor or major emergencies like if their kids get hospitalized, or when relatives or friends borrow money from them. In the eve of a major financial crisis looming the world's economies, everybody needs someone to run to. To alleviate them of the sudden need for money, they too would need somewhere to put their credit. Nice companies like Yellow Leaf Financial would be nice people to turn to for hassle free payday loans.

Sometimes, lenders take a different path in entertaining people that need money. Percentages of these short term loans preposterously skyrocket because companies take advantage of the borrower as they know the need for the currency. It would be nice if they maintain high standards like Yellow Leaf Financial does, because they understand your situation and only propose loans that are very reasonable in today's standards.

Payday loans here and around the world are done to have fast credit before the borrower's salary comes in. You also need someone that would be able to process accounting and your papers fast since these are the times where you normally walk in the boulevard of broken dreams. If you have no one else to turn to and have easy access to cash, you should take matters to your own hand but never forget to be responsible to pay for it as well. Your personal credit rating would take you places if you plan to put up businesses in the future. Taking care of your finances is another thing; if it means that it is for your own survival then don't hesitate to do it for your own family. There are many entities that you can go to for help. Yellow Leaf Financial is online fast and efficient, you must know how to choose establishments like them because US standards usually have most of their rates frequently pegged at $25 per $100, or 650% annual interest rates. Make sure you also do your part to have the loan repaid in two weeks or whichever applies. You won’t have any problem with loans if you keep this attitude. Payday lending is indeed a very controversial practice and faces both legal battles and public perception challenges in nearly every country where it is practiced I know. In a nutshell, knowing how these institutions work, self control and their financial systems is the key. Yellow Leaf Financial seems transparent enough for anybody so I don’t think you would have problems with them. I would borrow if I needed it, but I’ll pay for it as soon as possible. Thank God! I think my parents did something right.

Ai Iijima ; When bad things happen to Good People =(

She was not only pretty, she was dedicated to AIDS awareness in Japan

OMG! A personal favorite of mine Ai Iijima which is a well known Japanese porn-comedic actress-turned-AIDS activist was found dead at her home this Wednesday. I am deeply saddened because I used to watch her in about 2 Japanese channels over at Home Cable when they axed em late 2005 I think. I like her antics because she was used to dealing with Japan's most revered comedians and actors and I find her extremely funny when she does what she's always told to. I kinda miss her now... I just saw her pictures over the net and thought aloud. How I wish I got to watch her over the years because she really changed a lot. She was brown tanned when I last saw her and that was like her signature look. I know Japanese people would mourn over this young girls life. T_T

TWILIGHT remake by ABSCBN: TAKIPSILIM

Wednesday, December 24, 2008

Rayver Cruz and Shaina Magdayao as Edward Cullen and Bella Swan in the attempt remake of Twilight called "Takipsilim".

I like many of you twilighters are shocked in this attempt remake of the movie Twilight by ABS CBN... this will be now known here as "Takipsilim" and will be shown as a TV series for local and international release (thru TFC). The rights cost more than a million dollars and taping is set to start next year February in Baguio, Tagaytay, Bukidnon and some parts outside of the country. This will be directed by Cathy Garcia Molina and co-produced by Ignite Media Incorporation. There is an international clamour to stop this from happening and some blunt comments on other showbiz sites. I had the same feeling but thinking about it, Hollywood has been doing remakes of Asian films like the Ring etc. so why should we not do their films too right?

I don't really know what to say because I did not watch the film... yeah I'm that late! hahahah... but look on the brightside, I still know the fuzz about it and reacted the same way... anyway I'll just say a big GOODLUCK to ABS CBN and hope makayanan ng POWERS nyo yan! (that your POWERS can do it!)

I just hope this isn't it... heheh I love AIAI ^_^

My Wish Came True, How about you?!

I had my wish granted, how about you?!

It's the most wonderful time of the year. Christmas here in my homeland spells gift giving, midnight dinners that are incomparable to any place in the world. It’s always a big event when this day comes and people expect only good things to happen as we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.

I'm a simple guy with simple dreams. I know I ask for some things that are expensive and sometimes preposterous compared to common Filipinos. You know how it is in the Philippines, they just give what they can because they imply the rule "it's the thought that counts!” A few days ago, my friend Kathryn sent me a text message asking for advice what restaurant we should go to. We meet once a year to check on what's happening with our friends and enjoy each other's company. I recommended a restaurant named Something Fishy, in Eastwood City so it would be quite near at my office since I did have work that evening. Everyone agreed to meet at that place at 6 PM but knowing everybody we would probably be meeting at around 7:30 PM which I placed a reservation for. I was right because they arrived around that time and some of them were running late too.

I didn't know they had dinner buffet at that place so we did eat a lot considering I was on a diet. I was happy to meet RV my best friend and Lisa my twin. RV was a hunk in college and a class A womanizer of sorts, but I was able to cope with his attitude because I was the good boy as everybody knows. Lisa on the other hand was my twin, which I really admired because we almost have the same IQ level and same birthday at that. Hence, we are really twins though I am a little older because I was born morning and she was born in the afternoon. I was only teasing them when we were in college; only to find out I was already expecting a godson from them when we were almost graduating. Kathryn was also there, she was pretty with all her Jennifer Lopez inspired attire. Her ex-boyfriend Dexter came in with Roger and his wife to be. Dexter is from T.R.A.N.S.C.O. the transmission lines company, so think about how long he had to travel from the north which probably took 8 hours to get there. It was normal for him though because he does usually go to Manila. Roger on the other hand was working for a Telecommunications Company, he and his wife to be is going to get married sometime June or July this year. I wish them all the best because as far as I know Roger did not even have a girlfriend when we were in college. Now he's getting married and I am definitely happy for him.

Later that evening, Edwin and his wife arrived and chewed down with us. He's already got 3 daughters I think which I really forgot to give gifts too. I was really impressed as they were both in clad gold that time like they were already shining. It was nice seeing him joke around again, as long as I was not the topic I was really fine with that. Rummy went to the dinner together with her husband Dexter, he's another Dexter. I never got to see her since we parted ways in college. So that's like 8 years I think so I kind of liked the fact that I get to see people that I haven't met in a long time. That was a record I think, but I would probably have to wait until I get to meet my high school friends and buddies too. I never had my wife around with me that time because she had her own places and relatives to go to. It's sad because I feel like when we meet like that and everyone has a partner around, I realize that I am still single. Not that I am in a hurry but I would probably get married sometime soon and that's going to be another story.

University of the East Engineering friends meets again @ Eastwood City

If I would have the chance to sit on Santa's lap and got a wish, it would be to see my friends. In this day and age I could have asked for material things knowing how capricious I am. The feeling I got when we met was more than what I could ever wish for. If someone were to ask me what I would like to have for Christmas, I already had it. The time with my friends was incomparable. These are little things that we should always be thankful for. If you want to make a wish and have it granted, you should check out http://www.sitonsantaslap.com/?utm_source=b and get to sit on Santa's lap like when you were a kid. I even had the chance to be included in his story with my memorable pictures of our dinner in C.E.I.V.A. Digital Photo Frames. C.E.I.V.A. is the inventor of the digital photo frames so you only get the best unlike cheap imitations out in the market. Make sure you enter the optional sweepstakes if you are 18 years old and a resident of the United States and/or Washington D.C.

Merry Christmas to you and your family!

Snow storms hit North East US states

Tuesday, December 23, 2008

A couple uses skis to cross a snowy street in downtown Portland, Ore.

I guess this is part of the reason why US communications hasn't been good these couple of weeks. Cables and things must be freezing at that part of the world. I wonder what would happen if that happened here. It would really be tragic because people are mostly used to the tropical sun and siestas in the afternoon. A lot of people would probably die of the weather but I would probably enjoy the snow hahah ^_^ sorry for thinking aloud!

Don't Drink and Drive

Don't drink and drive

The US had about 16,005 people killed in alcohol related motor vehicle traffic crashes. I really do not want to be a statistic but of over 42,532 traffic accidents DUI tops the list to a whopping 15,829 or 37%. People charged with criminal cases have risen to almost the same percentage this year alone. We should not hold back on prosecuting those who are guilty but we need to also protect the rights of the innocent and wrongfully accused.

A motor vehicle crash is considered to be alcohol related if at least one driver involved in the crash is determined to have had high blood alcohol concentration. They usually measure that and run some on the spot tests before you can be formally charged with DUI. We all know the justice system is not perfect so we should never be victimized by those who would only want to bend the law just because they want to. If you need help, you can count on Criminal and DUI lawyers from reputable law firms to help you. They specialize in criminal and DUI cases. They are all available to take your court case and comprehensively investigate it for you. You will only get the best possible answer in or out of the courtroom. Where else can you find dedicated people to help you win back your innocence?

I met my UE Caloocan Engineering Buds! ^_^

UE Caloocan... the times we reminisced...

I just got in the office after a short dinner and chit chat with my college friends... Man it was amazing to see their faces again... the stories were just never ending.

I hate the fact that we only meet once a year, but you know what?! it's kinda fine that we get to miss each other for once. One thing though, we all are happy... we ate a lot at Something Fishy... and drank a couple of rounds at Seafood Island... I got the chance to see people that I haven't seen since 2000 would you believe? It was nice, the company was reaaaaaly great... I just wish we do this often... well you know how busy we are... with work, and family too... I just miss them all I guess.. ^_^

I'll get a post scribbled once I get em pictures... I promised them I'd write one heheh... Man this is a nice Christmas... ^_^

Where Wishes are Granted Everyday

Saturday, December 20, 2008

Its 5 days before Christmas and everybody's getting ready for that one day in the year where we celebrate the birth of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. I know I have been a little naughty and there are some instances where I've been very bad. I am human after all. I am happy though that my family is living well despite these hard times with the financial crisis and all. The country is looking mighty nice in spite of what everybody else is saying. I'm more afraid of the coming election than the economic jitters from the US and elsewhere.

Even though I've been bad I still have wishes and aspirations in life. There are simple things to make my life easier and better. My brother just got in from Ireland and got me my very own white Play Station Portable (slim type). Who wouldn't be happy with that right? The gaming console I wanted so much for a few years is finally within my grasp. So I went ahead and had the firmware jazzed up so I could play games aside from the disc that came with it. I loaded tons of mp3's and music videos so I can listen to it all day long. When I was at the office, I kind of noticed everybody else was listening to their own set of mp3's since nobody had something great to listen to. I tried to look for speakers that I could use so everyone could enjoy what I was loading on my gadgets. I tried but I think it was just too expensive and "I'd rather spend it on something more important “I said.

I was thinking it was just okay, but when I got into the site http://www.sitonsantaslap.com/?utm_source=b things just started to change. Santa Claus even gave me a preview on what I'd look like when I get myself into a digital photo frame. The part I really loved was when they even got me into the story. I wanted this digital gadget all of a sudden and I knew I really should not stop wishing for something. They are really worth waiting for if you ask me, because even Santa hooked me up for what I wanted this Christmas.

If you get to this site, you'll get the chance to even sit on Santa's lap. That part was really fun! C.E.I.V.A. the original producers of the Digital Photo Frame just made my day twice sweeter. They'll even get you on Santa's list so he wouldn't forget what to give you for Christmas. If that isn't enough, there is an optional contest you can join if you are 18 years old and above, a resident of United States and/or Washington D.C. There would be a random entry selected for each day of the contest where you can win a cash prize of $500.00. Where else should you go if you got a wish right?
