REDOXON Now in the Philippines

The restrictions might have changed over the months in the country but that doesn't mean we have to be complacent in or out of our homes. Good news is, there's REDOXON now in the Philippines. I used to see this in other ASEAN countries but never here because there's popular one is Berocca. Little did we know, it came from the same company and they actually have different uses for it. Berocca is for mental and physical performance whilst this one is more on supporting your body's immune system. This has got Vitamins A, B6, B12, C and D. It also has Zinc, Iron, Copper and Selenium. They've been in the business since 1934 and if you lasted that long, you're probably good at it right?

Miss World Megan Young and Model/Actor Mikael Daez was also there in the event, telling us stories about their lifestyle choices. Dr. Leah Manio explained to us what Cholecalciferol means and says "It's a fancy word that only means Vitamin D3, much like the one you get when your skin is exposed to sunlight. You need this to absorb calcium in your body, and you can get this in fish oil and eggs (though you would need a lot to get needed amount)."

This is part of Redoxon's worldwide efforts to address immuno threats which is timely as we're still fighting a huge threat in health. It looks like our friends from Magnolia are making what's special, even more special. They are launching the new Magnolia Gold Label. This event is being attended by Asia's multimedia star Alden Richards, Queen Megan Young. Olympic Gold Medalist Hidilyn Diaz, restaurateurs Happy Ongpauco-Tiu and celebrity Marvin Agustin.

The new Magnolia Gold Label products are made even richer by using fresh Carabaos milk, all natural fruits, nuts, ingredients, to make sure your moments of joy stays golden.

Marvin Agustin says "I've been busy cooking, preparing, roasting lechon. If it's about ice cream, I'm game! It's always been a gold standard, we have history with the flavors we grew up with and now that they are having new flavors, this will be even more exciting! My favorite is Double Dutch and Rocky Road. This isn't too sweet, you taste the individual ingredient, I only leave some for kids, well I try to."

Happy Ongpauco Tiu says "I know how Magnolia has always been the Filipino favorite. No artificial flavors, they really reinvented themselves. It's a world class product, and did this big bold move! I still remember the Magnolia House near our place and I love the Tablea Yema, it's so pinoy. I also like the smores flavor because of the ingredients combined into one ice cream. Aside from that, I like the Rocky Road, like the first dessert I made in my restaurant. At home, I love desserts, I can skip the meals and just eat during that part. My family loves it too and having the Magnolia Gold Label Ice Cream is something that my family and I enjoy, especially this holy week because I have to try out the new flavors!"

Miss World Megan Young "It's always my favorite dessert, and Magnolia Gold Label Ice Cream is different. When I won the Miss World crown, it was like a dream, a golden moment, it was like my crowning anniversary last month and I did it by getting a tub of ice cream. With it, I always think that anything is possible. Having Magnolia Ice Cream is a non negotiable for me when I go to the grocery. I feel I'm a proud pinoy with this world class product out there. Gold Medalist Hidilyn Diaz joined in and told us "I really love ice cream, it's like a piece of success. When I go through hard work, I take a moment and chill. I'm eating the Mango Dark Chocoloate right now, and I'll be trying the Ube Queso, and this is also a Filipino product, I am proud! I used to have a perspective of doing strict diets, but my dietician advised me to have cheat days, it's when I do eat a lot of ice cream. It's for my mental health, it's not easy doing what I do, it's a routine. I have to reward myself. When I go out with my family, we celebrate moments with it, I even eat in advanced before my cheat days because it's my reward."

Alden Richards entered the presscon and said "When I see something I like visually, I really try it. Even though I like the classic flavors, these days, they're diversified and the pinoy palate now enjoys Tablea, Avocado, and tons of Filipino favorites that you initially wouldn't really know would work actually does. It's really good combined, and I like the new Smores and Cookies and Cream, we're the kind that says later on... masarap pala! Like Magnolia, you should be courageous, you should try something new, jump into the unknown, even if you're not sure, you will learn what you can and cannot do when you try. You'll never know until you do. I like smores because roasted marshmallows in two graham crackers and chocolate that we used to see in campfires is now in ice cream form. It's like the taste actually contradicts each other, just combines great in your mouth later on. It's something that I do to relieve stress, my teleserye will come back this November and a movie with Bea Alonzo. There will be big announcements soon, I'm sure those who support me will love this!"

My Hometown is G.O.A.T. Philippines Premiering on AXN Asia

This morning was a nice way to reconnect with travel. The good people from AXN Asia and the Department of Tourism (Philippines) just launched their "My Hometown is G.O.A.T." series. It's an original wherein celebrities from the country showcase their part of the world and will premiere on November 4. Episodes will come out every Thursday and Friday at 8:30PM on AXN Asia (cable where available) and the AXN Asia YouTube Channel the Wednesday after at the same time. It will also be showcased in AXN Taiwan and AXN Korea on November 8 and 13th too.

Celebrities appering on the show include Miss World 2013 Megan Young, her husband vlogger, model and actor Mikael Daez, Miss Universe Philippines 2019 Gazini Ganados, Pinoy Sakuragi Marc Pingris, Basketball Superstars JC Intal, Jayjay Helterbrand and Rico Maierhofer. In the show, they'll be your companion and show you around their respective hometowns to give you a glimpse on why it's the G.O.A.T.! They will be showcasing it in 6 episodes, so make sure you're tuned in on those dates!

Mikael says "I'm the one being toured around Zambales and I hope the way I fell in love with my wife there, I fell in love with the place too. It's normal to have apprehensions, but the new normal meant we can still see the sights with protocols in place, safely not just for yourself but everyone around you. The first step is awareness, new safety protocols, once you know that, you can decide. We have different appetites in travel, just follow procedures. We have shown that it is possible to do it while staying safe at the same time."

Megan shares "This was the first time we had our child in the shoot. In San Antonio, we just took a banca and have a grand time even without electricity, just food and friends, it's a great way for us to bond and meet my personal friends. Honestly, when I grew up in Subic I only thought you could ride in the Subic Yacht Club when you are a member, I didn't know you could rent one and it was an awesome expereince!"

Marc Pingris says "I feel grateful being part of this show, I was given a chance to show my team mates how great Pangasinan is. I toured them in La Union, followed protocols, and had a great time. AXN Asia staff really took good care of us, we apologize to the fans that didn't have a chance to take photos with us because we had to follow protocols. I grew up in Pangasinan as a laborer, and going to La Union, the view was different, you just have to go there and experience it for yourself. Being with the boys was just a cherry on top, I hope I get to be there with my other brothers from PBA, we didn't have to go outside the country to see how beautiful it was."

Jayjay Helterbrand says "We need to revitalize the tours, being in the motorcycle in two wheels, we saw everything raw. We saw the skyline, riding along with our PBA buddies, more fun really awaited us during our experience there! They were very adamant about safety protocols, we were prepared ahead of time and they made sure we followed road safety reminders."

JC Intal says "It was super fun and very safe. I am looking forward to more of this!"

Rico Maierhofer "We had to use websites and apps of the LGU's, and we did it ourselves. We're athletes so we're not much of hosts, but AXN made us comfortable. It was an amazing experience! We're thankful that DOT chose us to travel there. It was amazing!"

Gazini Ganados "I was excited to relive my childhood and see my hometown and parts of it that I never thought existed. The hidden gems I found there, it made me realize that I never even have to go far. It was all there all along! We took all safety procedures even before we stepped on the plane. We were also taught protocols in case someone wanted to go near us. There are new attractions, floating restaurants, the beauty under water, it was a different world doing that. It was super fun to see that side of the world!"
