A Day of Pampering at INOUE Health and Wellness Clinic

Here's the truth, I've never had any time for myself... I haven't had the "effort" to take care of my hair and skin lately. Problem is, my hair is thinning, and my skin hasn't been touched by anyone (not what you think) neither for cleaning. Sad I know, so I guess I needed this time for a little pampering. 

Good thing INOUE Health and Wellness Clinic sits right across GMA Network (Caswynn Building in Timog Avenue). I could literally walk there but it's raining a bit so I didn't. The place is new, relaxing, clean and super cozy. It felt like a spa rather than a super sterile hospital/clinic. It's my kind of vibe especially  when I want to relax. In a nutshell, this was all I asked for when I wanted a break from my stressful days, weeks, months and years.

Just like you, I knew I needed this. I had a few things I also wanted to address because my hair's crown part was thinning. I also had never had a serious facial aside from cleaning, so they recommended 2 things, the Hair Regeneration Therapy and the Facial Carbon Therapy. They have other kinds of services to address what you need and they talked to me lengthy about my concerns before they recommended procedures (thanks to Dr. Joey Sinchioco who's also on TikTok). I knew what I was getting into before I went there, and I have asked so many questions to pinpoint what I needed help with. Enhancing or improvement is something I'm open to, but these are all non invasive procedures, I'm so glad I did it at INOUE!

The staff were very professional. The procedures were done in precious time because I got in and out of the clinic quite fast (than how much I expected). The Hair Regeneration Therapy was done with care. Although it needed needles,  I didn't really feel anything while they were doing it. The process involves putting in lab made stem cell. The way the do it is more efficient since they do it by putting in the same amount in an area (volume delivery). This makes stem cell work more efficiently. While they have it for other procedures for anti aging and other skin issues, this one is specifically formulated for hair. The efficiency is higher, and it helps me with my issues. 

To help brighten my skin, I also went with the Facial Carbon Therapy which involves heat. While it was being done, I didn't feel much of it (case to case basis) but have seen the effects right after the procedure. They utilize a machine called Hollywood Spectra which does laser peel so you could tone, address discolorations, dark spots, melasma, and I've seen the immediate effect (like a powder finish). For me, they did a spirulina mask to close pores and calm redness. My other friends who went here did Hy Ocean mask which is meant for hydration. If you're into brighter skin, I'd gladly recommend this procedure!

Other procedures they have in INOUE Health and Wellness Clinic include IV Drips. They have options like Prime Detox (for brightening), Vital Recovery (if you feel you are about to get sick), Serene Restore (for calming and sleep), Core Balance (which they recommended for partners) and Immune Defense (for vitamins). They also told me about Pure Radiance, Timeless Essence, Platinum Glow, Energy Boost, and Holistic Regeneration, all of which are cosmetically done depending on what you need. All you need to do is ask.

Ysabel Ortega, Elle Villanueva, Sophia Seneron Opens Own a NAILANDIA Salon

It must have been fun doing VOLTES V LEGACY over at GMA when Sparkle stars Ysabel Ortega, Elle Villanueva, Sophia Seneron met on set initially as just mere co-stars, then friends, and now business partners. The three promising stars from the Kapuso network just opened their own NAILANDIA Nail Salon over at IL TERRAZO at Tomas Morato in Quezon City. And by the looks of it, they're excited for what's about to happen to this venture they're doing because obviously, they're so passionate about it.

Ysabel, Elle and Sophia went out a couple of times during the filming of VOLTES V LEGACY but always found themselves going to a NAILANDIA Salon in BGC which they loved because of the service they get. True enough, they felt right at home to be called "SUKI" because it's the least they can do to take care of themselves, their looks, especially for the demanding requirements of being celebrities in GMA. After realizing they wouldn't probably meet after the show, they promised to see each other regularly which is why they thought of doing business. They decided to incorporate with equal shares, and now they've put up a company that would be able to do other businesses. Their child project however was this NAILANDIA Salon. Now you can go to this branch at the ground floor if you want Nail Art, Manicure, Pedicure, Foot Spa, Paraffin Wax, Massage, or your eyelashes done in a jiffy. They took sweet time training all their staff to make sure you get your money's worth each time you go to a Nailandia branch. Here's their story on how they started:

During the first few days of operations, they had family, friends, especially those who helped them put up the salon. It wasn't easy, and they had to ask favors from a lot of people to finish the construction of this branch. The look definitely was white and bright, you'll feel relaxed just as soon as you step into the establishment. It was cold and breezy, the perfect ambiance while you get your nails done, and yes, even I tried to get my nails worked on. I say, they did quite an excellent job with what I had in mind!

They've got this done and plan to do more in the future. Aside from that, they're raring to do a good job in the separate projects they are doing right now. Ysabel by the way will be appearing in Firefly together with Miguel Tanfelix, Elle on the other hand will be doing projects with Derrick Monasterio (who was also there by the way and said "I LOVE YOU!" loudly when they cut the ribbon), plus Sophia who will be doing more episodes of Pepito Manaloto. As much as they've worked on their shows, they want to also do businesses together since they are now a corporation. They will be at the branch every now and then so if you're fond of them, go visit them today!

Spoil Dad with the Luminisce Pour Homme Kit

Celebrating Father's Day yesterday without one was a little bittersweet for me, as I got to remember all the good memories my Dad and I made. To look back in those few years I've spent with him and share some of my skin care regimen so he too can take care of his skin. Let's face it, most men in the past only have had soap and water for grooming (also shaving). Other than that, they would experiment with women's products and other stuff that isn't necessarily designed for us. These days, there's tons out there that can address what men need especially if you're investing in yourself, to make sure you look good even as you age; because the last thing you would want to look like is a prune when you're already in your late years.

As you may understand, men's skin just isn't the same as with women. It's thicker, more oily (in some cases) and ages quite differently. Aside from that, not all men appreciate the scents that comes with women's products which are either flowery or fruit scented, not to mention what other harsh ingredients there are in them that don't really fit what we need. This week, I've had the pleasure of testing out the Luminisce Pour Homme Kit. Those fine lines would lessen, but I think I would need more time to see that happen in my case. My personal favorite is the Hair Rescue (Anti-hair fall spray) which has an active ingredient called Minoxidil to help promote hair growth and treatment in male pattern baldness (especially for thinning hair). I use it right after I come out from the shower and dry off my hair a bit because you need to apply this when its damp. Spray a bit and rub in lightly before you apply other styling products you need to use if you plan to go out. I didn't go out that much these days and just plainly use it after my cold showers because it's so hot where I am.
