Bacsi Bros Expands Operations at Ayala Malls Marikina

Saturday, July 27, 2019

They're growing, definitely growing.

It's a  great day for comfort food goodness and abs for days as we celebrate the opening of Bacsi Bros in Ayala Malls in Marikina City. This is different from Ayala Malls Feliz and is a two floor complex at the Liwasang Kalayaan area. It caters to residents and people from surrounding towns so they don't have to go to far cities just to go to an Ayala Mall.

The Bacsi Bros branch here is at the Food Choices area up at the second floor together with other pretty well known brands. But of course, we have to go to Bacsi Bros because who doesn't dream of hot heaping white rice, fluffy egg and strips of mouthwatering bacon.

It is as freshly cooked as you order so just look it up on the menu and owner endorser Tony Labrusca will offer you everything for 75 pesos. Extra egg and Cheddar Cheese will only cost you 15 bucks! Sounds good? Of course!

This BacsiBro has these soft fried smoky bacon, tons of liquidy melted cheese, a soft sunny side up egg on top of white rice. Ohhhh I could hear Homer Simpson's growling.

The Cornsibro though was perfect for breakfast. The corned beef was soft and a bit on the salty side, the runny egg envelopes everything including the rice, you could almost taste it in the photos.

The Hotsibro on the other hand is perfect for kids, kids who can tell. If you think about it, it's like an all day breakfast setup. Less the hassle of cooking.

Tocino lovers will rejoice over this Tocibros, remember that they cook this teppan style so you get that bits of crunchy edges on the meat and the egg they cook. There is also some margarine/butter in it so you get that flavor profile too. Ohh this was so good!

For those who want it beefy, try the Tapsibros. Strips of Tapa style beef fried over the griddle on top of sunny side up egg, and white rice. It ain't for the faint of heart indeed and is real comfort food. You should enjoy this with friends and family.

They also are launching a new item on their menu which are all wraps. I tried the Bacsi Wrap earlier and it was almost full to the brim, reminiscent of breakfast burritos in the US. It's quite huge and filling, pretty much an equivalent of the rice meals, so go get the Cornsi Wraps, Hotsi Wrap, or Tapsi Wrap if you love Bacsi Bros. Oh and before I forget, they also have Chiksi Bro and Porksi Bro for 99 if you have an even larger appetite.

Oh and today, he's actually here in Ayala Malls Marikina Branch, of course it went crazy!

ML Must Be Seen By Millennials

Thursday, October 25, 2018

Just got off Solar's head office in Makati to watch the movie ML starring Eddie Garcia, Tony Labrusca and an ensemble cast. I didn't get to watch this during Cinemalaya 2018 because of time constraints but Sir Eddie winning the best actor award ought to be a good reason to see this film. I had expectations, but it was exceeded knowing that it only took them 7 days to make this. Albeit new to movies, Tony seems to also have been on a roll. He's getting nods but it's a little obvious he's choosing roles that are real acting pieces, it was nice to see him do something political.

ML’s Director Benedict Mique says “We appreciate you going to our small event, we want your support on this film. Aside from getting entertained, I wish a lot of people would be able to watch it and learn about Martial Law. I hope you like and write about it so people would be able yo get interested and watch it.”

It is shocking as the reviews said. You’ll get that feeling from the very beginning of the film.

Eddie Garcia is another class, another level and him playing the Colonel just felt right at place.

That cool millennial vibe of Tony Labrusca just is the same with the kids of today, who think they know Martial Law with all the stuff they see on the web and not the real people who went through it.

I would want every Millennial to actually see and feel every bit of what Eddie Garcia prepared for them in the film. See for themselves why it’s not a simple woke matter, to see if they read history books well, or even talk to real people who went through it because this definitely looks and feels like it’s based on real accounts.

Some people need to learn the hard way, this would be a good thing to start with before you understand what Martial Law is all about. No ifs or buts, you can’t say your piece, and you can’t say nothing else but yes.

Itching to go out? You’ll never look at Valkyrie the same way again.

This is a morbid man’s fantasy. It’s gripping, violent and revolting at the same time. I meant that in a good way.

There I said it.

Tony Labrusca for Deja Blend

Sunday, July 01, 2018

When you hear Tony Labrusca now, what do you usually think about? Watched him during the BoybandPH stint, albeit not winning the competition, he was destined for stardome. An illustrious career in showbusiness, several projects and shows under his belt, a few movies here and there, and now not just an endorsement, but a part of this business called DEJA BLEND.

Deja Blend means already blended, which is something they've been working on in the past few years. They are so confident that they have perfected the flavors they have come out with and pretty much they are putting their names and this personality on the line. This person may have come from a reality show, impressed people and has a career in the making. He is officially investing in this beverage brand under WBC Food Kiosk they call DEJA BLEND The Perfect Blend. He has chosen to get involved in this as he sees showbusiness might turn out not to be forever. He's preparing for his own future.

Tony says "I am in showbiz but I want to secure my future, the next option for me was putting up a business. I'm happy to be part of the Deja Blend Family. I met him years ago (the owner and CEO) and when I asked to venture with him, they got me to do this. I feel like everything happens for a reason, I don't compare myself and I try to stay grateful, with Gods grace. I want to secure the life of my family and this was a no brainer. I am doing three movies this year, hopefully finish them all including indie movies. The third one is a secret. This is a huge opporunity and I just came at the right time. As for the Darna movie I am not sure yet, if I am to be chosen it would really be an honor. For Cinemalaya I am doing ML, it stands for Martial Law and it will be an interesting movie. It is timely, a thriller, I don't want to spoil things but it will be with me and Tito Eddie Garcia. He's the man, a new actor working with him, I learned a lot to bring out emotion because I was really afraid of him even though he's a very nice guy. The Cinema One film is a thriller too, in sports, I play a gymnast with Joem Bascon. This is a sports erotic thriller, something that would be crazy and will shock you guys, it's an amazing project because it's a messed up movie - I'll just sag there is a nymphomaniac. You'll see. We'll have a trailer too, one's a safe one and one that's red. Everything that is going to be shown has a reason for it, be shot artistically. My image is wholesome but I take movies seriously, I want to show people that I want to earn my spot seriously. When I was in highschool I had to take entrepreneurial class, I feel when it's my time it's my time. I'm not the most business savvy person so I need all the help I can get managing my finances.

Deja Blend is concentrating on 4 drink categories right now, the pearl teas, the Frapuccino, the milk teas and the Lemonoids. They want to work with entrepreneurs, Filipinos outside the country too and help you put up your own franchise. You may talk to their franchise team if you are eager to get your business started.

Their tea is not that sweet, they want it that way and you could customize sugar levels in every store. Branches are in Taytay, one in front of UE Dentistry building in Recto- soon in 999 Divisoria Mall, and others to follow soon. "For 550 K (their franchise fee) you can enter and manage it, we are lower than usual businesses because we have suppliers. Sell it for 60-70-80, people can earn a lot. This includes training, manpower management, but accounting will be yours. After your ROI, we will plan many things for you. We will also have activations, it will have Tony involved in it so you will see him more. You may search for us in Facebook just put in Deja Blend and I'll personally answer your queries." says JR Cruz, the Operator and Owner of WBC Food Kiosk.

For what it's worth, Tony knows how to market himself, trying different things, shooting while the iron is hot. He's one of the most good looking actors this country has seen, he can also sing, and now even manage an up and coming brand that he surely believes in.

I tried it myself and those Lemonoids and best selling teas really hit the spot, I envy him for doing these things even if he's so busy with his current commitments. You'll love him even more now that he's starting to grow his business. He's very down to earth too, I am glad to have been able to talk to him even for a few minutes.

Contact them through Facebook at Deja Blends and get your own business running! It's darn good!
