Marian Rivera Endorses 555 KumpleTUNA

Wednesday, April 15, 2015

I had so much fun yesterday during the reveal of 555 Tuna's newest endorser and GMA's Primetime Queen Ms. Marian Rivera - Dantes. My Instagram account exploded with likes since yesterday and I'm not surprised because she's heavenly! I like her too, so every time I see her I couldn't move LOL. During the program, she was tasked to judge the best tuna afritada, one that was made from scratch and the other that was jist taken straight from the 555 Tuna can. The Chef made it in around 40 minutes, whilst the housewife did it in almost a minute and poured a can over hot white rice. Marian found it better in fact, let's listen in to her in these videos:

PART 1

PART 2

Congratulations to Century Pacific Corporation who also makes Century Tuna. This line for 555 Tuna they say will cater to the largest market they have and they're also going to come out with more flavors of it aside from the Bicol Express, Adobo and Tuna Afritada that they have now. Marian Rivera will have commercials for that too! We've got more photos from the event, just head on to http://www.facebook.com/kumagcow and please like my page!

The New Partnership Of Alaska Milk and FrieslandCampina

Friday, April 11, 2014

We've been sharing the journey of growing up in the Philippines with Alaska. All your soups, main dishes or even your desserts have Alaska in them all these years. It's different, creamy and you know it's made with quality and freshness in mind. A few days ago, a partnership between Alaska and Royal FrieslandCampina has been formed to bring dairy expertise to Filipinos. FrieslandCampina is actually a Dutch dairy cooperative composed of thousands of farmers in the Netherlands. It's roots go back to 1879 and they've been gearing to expand their business for a long time and this move to acquire Alaska in the Philippines was but apt. They have high regards to what Alaska's role play in Filipinos lives. Now, they are bringing even more great products backed with the experience of 130 years!

Tifany Santuyo, a nutrition consultant for Alaska corporation told us a picture of a child's health in the Philippines. Using data from previous years, it only gave us news that wasn't pretty. The incapacity to get the right amount of vitamins and essential nutrients make a huge percent of Filipinos prone to growth stunting and wasting. This also happens in the first 1,000 days of their life, so making sure you get the right amount of nutrition is essential. She also adds how important the Mom's health is and its factors with the nutrition of newborns.

Dr. Anne Schaafsma explained to us the importance of protein and how nutrients can be absorbed by the body. He also took time talking about protein denaturation and how it happens. There are a lot of factors why there are problems in digestion with children and one of the major factors why it happens is glycation. It's when proteins combine with carbohydrates happens, resolving this would just take mild processing which makes it digested better and properly.

FrieslandCampina has been always in the forefront of quality; and together with their owners, they continue to produce milk and it's byproducts without shortcuts. They believe in the Grass to Glass process and with their emphasis on food safety, quality in farming, milking, collecting, processing, packaging and distribution, you are sure that what you are getting on your table is the best there is in the world. 130 years plus Alaska's 40 years in the Philippine market, just spells success in holding the title as the lead milk brand in the country bringing only the best for Filipino families just as they always have in the past years.

Now you know you're getting the best when Alaska is on your table. See? :)

Jason and Melai Spotted 10/29/2013

Tuesday, October 29, 2013

Hmmm.. You guys probably know that I've been trying to find latest photos of Jason and Isay for the longest time. Last one wasn't mine and twas a couple BTS shots of their prenup. I haven't seen them for a long time and I was so sad. Honestly it's okay with me because i'm sure they've seen a LOT of people... They've got millions of fans but I was so happy to have met them again a while ago.

Jason didn't recognize me but for me that's okay. Isay had to remind him who i was and i figured i had to re-introduce myself. Maybe i figured they have met so many media people in their lifetime and I'm just a cute blogger hahahaha

I was so happy to see them in the ABSCBN lobby when I got down of the elevator. I immediately snapped a few shots and felt that was rude of me... Naexcite yata ako hahaha... But really when I saw them I immediately turned into a fan. I wondered why are they here? Do they have a new show? Are they doing something new? I got no answers lol pero okay lang :) just seeing them was enough for me. :)

Isay was so nice. She said she remembered me hayyy... Look at her holding her tummy. I am so happy for these two. Hopefully we can talk a bit more soon about their baby and plans after the wedding. I hope i can get to cover that too. Hay :( so I'm just sharing these latest photos with you guys so you know how they look like now. Yun lang po hehe. Do you remember the first time you've seen them? When was it? What did you do!? :)
