It's been a stressful few years for all of us in the Philippines but the real estate market have been relentless especially in sustainable communities like Hamilo Coast in Nasugbu, Batangas. The place has a lovely white sand beach, luscious landscapes and country club amenities that would be a dream to have at this time and age. Thing is, it's accessible as it only takes an hour and 30 minutes away to get there from Metro Manila.
Recently, Lamudi published an increase in acquisitions of beach homes back in 2020. It was even bigger compared to 2019 despite having health scares across the globe. Leechiu Properties Consultants Inc. on the other hand proved much of that data is true even in the luxury market, as people turned to getting into homes that are stress free, all during that time when lock-downs were prevalent. It makes total sense as people prefer to even work in these conditions, even banks became more lenient providing loans for this purpose and see it a good return of investment in a couple of years.
Aside from those who wanted and needed to move, investors have taken a nod in owning homes with picturesque views like the ones in Freia. The condo units there have mountain and sea views, anyone would dream to have. It's officially summer and when the opportunity came to visit a resort in Calatagan Batangas came, I hurriedly grabbed it. It's a few hours away from Tagaytay City which is also pretty close to Manila. This is Aquaria Beach Resort. A sprawling property developed by LANDCO Pacific Corportaion, the same people that brought you Playa Laiya, Playa Calatagan, Hacienda Escudero, Terrazas De Punta Fuego and others, this world class property at Playa Calatagan, Calatagan, Batangas is but a piece of paradise that would cater to people of all walks of life, in this place, anytime. We ventured to Batangas the morning of March 23rd with my blogger friends. It was fun, it was glorious, you'll feel blessed to live in a country like ours. Aquaria Beach Resort has amenities that would be envied by other establishments of the same nature, and they've done this quite nice in some of the resort's awe-inspiring areas.
When you get off your car, you would be greeted by this imposing structure in front. This serves as their front desk and arrangements before you enter the resort happens here. Entrance Fees cost 500 for Adults, 250 for kids on a weekday and 700 for Adults and 350 for kids on a weekend. You can also rent a Cabana in the beach front for around Php 1000 or Php 1,500 that can fit around 10-15 people. Make sure you also bring proper swim gear and other stuff that you deem necessary for a beach trip, toiletries and towels included (because I don't think they have that on hand as of now). Property owners and their guests get perks of course so if you're thinking of getting a beach property anytime soon, they've only got a few units left so you better do it in haste!
Don't worry about having enough shower rooms or comfort rooms because this place has a lot inside this building. It also houses the locker rooms if you want to keep some of your things safe while you frolic in the sun, they've got that covered.
This is the Kid's Pool Area. They've got several fountains, water guns and water showers inside this area. I've seen life guards both in the beach and in the pool area so I think everyone's safe. Adults should stay in the other side which have around 4-6 feet of water if I'm not mistaken. Aside from that, this particular feature is fun!
This is Aquaria Beach Resort's Giant Water Slide. It's a big tube where you can fit huge 2 prong lifesavers that can fit 2 people in it. You go down the tube together and whirl your way down the pool, make sure you listen to the person upstairs so we don't get into trouble while doing the slide. It's ultra safe, but probably not for kids. Unless of course they swim like a fish for a living then that's an exception.
Up on the beach front they have these cozy cabanas which I deem you try and get if you wanna go here. It's a place where you and your family could spend the whole afternoon lounging around, having a glass of wine, a bottle of beer and barbecue. You can also rent a grill from them and bring your best meat, fish or poultry products if you're up to it. I got my massage here and it was very comfortable. They've got the beach volleyball, beach football amenities right beside it. Aside from that, they've got henna tattoo stations beside them as well. I got one before I left the resort and it's still here... I totally loved it!
As you saw on my video up there, they've got a ton of beach activities including open sea Kayaking, snorkling, island hopping, banana boats, jet skis, or just bumming around the beautiful shore. They've got around 4 kilometers of it if I'm not mistaken. They also have scrumptious food served at the beach restaurant which they call Sands. Kudos to the chef who grilled my baby back ribs, it was so good I had a few kilos of it still in my system. As with the other things, it'll be in my memory of this place... of which I promise to go back to when I need a beach refuge that doesn't entail a plane or a boat ride at all.

Summer is here and we all love bumming in the sun or simply playing our favorite volleyball game in the beach. Well, Nestea has been doing that for the past 17 years. They're much of an expert in this field of chilling, relaxing and playing and they're doing it again in a grand way come labor day this year.
They gave us the experience of celebrating on water and on land at the Antel Suites in Makati, which comes close to Boracay right? Twas complete with sand, a bar and a great DJ spinning music throughout the hot afternoon!
Music was great. It was awesome to see some personalities from Air Asia, Nuffnang, Eon, Lenovo and other companies too. Aside from that, some of my blogger friends were also there to enjoy the festivities.
Oh of course, the gorgeous models were there too!
If you check out the poster beside her, (and probably not looking at her too much LOL) Nestea Beach 2014 Volleyball Championship will happen from May 1-3. A yacht party will happen too from Kalibo's port to the island. The biggest pool party will also commence in The Tides in Boracay. I've heard Cedric Gervais and Steve Aoki will perform. Aside from that, Dj's Jessica Milner, Nina Saputil and RX Jocks will be there too. If you plan to go to Boracay, you'll witness how 24 teams vie for the ultimate Nestea Beach 2014 championship... all you need to do is be there!
A few games were also done that evening. Believe it or not, I won an O+ Phone just by posting on Instagram. The others engaged in a better, bolder activity. They did the NESTEA SPLASH!
The models did it first. I didn't think they had any problems with it. They had fun though! :)
They did it in a series. Then the public voted to see who's worthy of the fabulous prizes. Some went home with trips to a local and international destination courtesy of Air Asia. Then one won the latest YOGA Tablet from Lenovo! Congratulations guys!
Thank you also to the team behind Nestea Beach 2014! Now, we can't wait to see what will happen come May 1st when we take the party to Boracay. Is it just me or are they not taking me there?! Well I hope so LOL!
