Well, the Philippines won a Gold Medal in Wushu but since it is not a recognized Olympic sport its not going to count in the Medal Standings. Good job though! I am disappointed however because we did not win a single medal that can be counted there.

Photo by AFP/Getty ImagesJapan bashed the United States' 22-game Olympic winning streak Thursday to win its first gold medal in softball. This wasn't the finale the U.S. had in mind. Japan upset the Americans with a whopping 3-1 to win GOLD in the sport.
