Locally Super Fruits Out Now!

Thursday, December 05, 2019

After doing quite well with their other flavored coconut water line and juices, Locally just came out with a new line of Super Fruits recently, and yes... I loved them all!

Wondragonful, Passiontastic, Mangosteencredible all named after a play with fruits Dragon Fruit, Passion Fruit and Mangosteen. Honestly I thought it was not going to be as good as I thought it would be, or maybe I was expecting it along the line of the sugary sweet ones you often buy in stores, but boy was I wrong. Nutrition facts indicate they only have 11 grams of sugar per serving so this isn't as sweet as those things you see in the same isle. It's naturally tasting, it's like having the actual fruit in your glass, in a drink form. It was amazing!

The secret lies in the way they sourced these fruits. The Dragon Fruit are mostly from Central Luzon, the Passion Fruit is from Quezon- South Luzon area whilst the Mangosteen are all from Davao, the food basket of the country. It was like all liquid gold, but these things have a lot of benefits because they are considered super fruits. The Dragon Fruit enhances digestion, the Passion Fruit improves insulin sensitivity. The Mangosteen helps boost the immune system. You're simply getting some of the most nutritious fruits inside. You don't even have to buy a whole lotta fruit to get it.

My personal favorite is the Passion Fruit and Mangosteen, they're all gonna make me healthy. I just got a few of them in my fridge right now. I'm gonna have to take a close watch as everyone at home loved it. I might not have enough to last the whole week.

Anyway, you should go get them fr leading groceries and supermarkets because it only costs 120 on retail. Have you tasted it already? What do you think? :)

Meet GOJU

Wednesday, August 08, 2018

Fruits are in season, and so am I LoL - there is no better way to enjoy it than having it in a juice drink - especially those good ones that you often feel you couldn't live without. I often go with the tangy - more natural tasting ones which are out in the market - and I've always wanted to taste the new ones because I find it challenging, so I could discover more varities of it from other parts of the country, or the world!

Good thing I don't have to travel and spend thousands of dollars to do that. You see, I've just discovered GOJU Natural Fruit Infusion Juice at the supermarket and tried it today for size. The neat colorful animal label lead me to believe that each one of these cans have their own personality. It's got 5 flavors to be exact, like the owl represents the GOJU Lemonade Juice Drink, healthy, fresh, tangy and has got Vitamin C. The bear represents GOJU Mango and Orange Juice Drink, it combines the lovely fruity notes of Oranges, Mangoes and Passion Fruit, perfect for a sunny day. The horse represents the GOJU Raspberry Lemonade which tastes much like crushed Raspberries and fresh lemonade mixed together. It feels light and fresh, it'll clean you up too and promote better blood circulation they say, that's just awesome! The turtle on the other hand is for the GOJU Peach Passion Fruit Juice Drink. It's a mix of white peach, passion fruit, pineapple, lemon and a dose of Vitamin C, your healthy active life still needs a boost and this gives that!

GOJU Raspberry Lemonade for those who want it a little fancy.

The lion is on the GOJU Orange Juice Drink, it'll remind you of that fresh orange juice you love after a game or special occasion. It helps hydrate, like what I did right after I have done so many things earlier while covering events in Manila. It's sweet and lovely, you'll hunt for this flavor too - I won't mind if you hoard too! Just make sure you give this to your friends and family though, they'll love this I'm sure.

So happy they had the GOJU White Peach Passion Fruit, they will prolly make people talk about it, this is so good.

For each one in the family, there is one flavor variant of GOJU that you can drink. If I were you I'd try it out soon as it's currently available in Landmark and Anson's in Manila, then CSI Supermarket in the towns and cities in the north. You may visit GOJU Drinks on Facebook, @gojudrinks on Twitter and IG.

Now doesn't that all make you want to grab a glass with ice, pour this all in and enjoy it while watching the golden hour? Exactly! If I liked it all, you will too!

LOCALLY Spotted at the ASEAN

Wednesday, December 13, 2017

I've seen this in the BGC Locally Fruit Truck launch but I didn't know it would appear during the recent Manila hosting of the 50th ASEAN Summit. They gave this away for free so all delegates from all member nations, even China, Korea, Japan and the US would get a taste of local indigenous fruit juices made by world class company NutriAsia. They are the same people who make the well love ketchup and condiment brand UFC and a lot more. They also manufacture the new Merci Buco available in Buco Lychee and Buco Padan, some local flavors we already love, now being tasted by other nationalities so they too would get a taste of the country. Isn't that neat? Hahaha!

They surely had lots of fun, even if it was doubly hard for NutriAsia to execute this, they knew it was for a good cause and a chance to get to know our country. Imagine the stringent security screenigs they had to go through just to put up their booths and kiosks there.

If you didn't know, these are already available in Puregold, Robinsons, Rustans, Waltermart and other leading supermarkets nationwide. It's also affordable too, better than other juices out there in the market because you know YOU LOVE anything local. LOCALLY is the closest thing you want to have from the provinces.

So what are you waiting for? Go check them out today if you're going out on a trip, or if you simply want to have great thirst quenching juice while on the go. It's easy, lovely and fully local, you can't go wrong with that!
