PLATINUM KARAOKE Showcases ALPHA 2 and Fun Concert with SHERYN REGIS

The statement "Filipinos love to sing" is an example of an extreme understatement. Some folks may call it a sport, some call it a hobby, but for us, it's a right of passage, a way of survival, a way of life. One of the most successful brands of karaoke and audio systems in the country is Platinum Karaoke. They held a very big launch for their latest product called ALPHA 2 which is a 4K Smart Premium Karaoke system that's got several modern features in tow.

In order for them to make sure people experience it first hand, they got several machines out attached to huge TV's at the middle of Market!Market! mall in BGC so folks could try it out before purchasing it with a whopping 30 percent discount (only for 2 days, but it won't be much if you visit their branch at the 3rd floor and ask!).

During the event, they had several singing champions perform on stage, including Lucas Garcia who was adored by the public (his runs were lethal!). Then came the best part where they introduced the one and only Crystal Voice of Asia, Sheryn Regis who is also their newest brand ambassador!

She also had several of her fans come up on stage to sing with her later in the evening. She also took time to sing with the ALPHA 2 model just so you could feel how it sounds like when there's a world class singer doing it. I even heard some of the media folks try it after the show, they didn't hold back despite it being in the middle of Market!Market! LOL!

 

Sheryn by the way also sang some of her top hits. It was fun because people were amazed that she could still do it after all these years. She shared how it was hard to do that after her operation and do some gigs after a few months, despite doctors asking her to refrain from singing. She feels so blessed that after that ordeal, she got her groove back, and sings so beautifully despite some small changes she noticed with her voice.

They ended the event with a fun dance number, everyone joined in. I found people genuinely having smiles on their faces because they enjoyed the concert and the launch. Now go get those Karaoke units and audio devices, I've seen them making folks experience REAL karaoke. It's time you should too!

Denis Santos Assistant PR Manager for Honor introduced the new earphone and watch. 

They also introduced the Honor Earbuds 4. It's got studio level sound, crisp, enhanced surround sound. It is also lightweight, has active noise cancellation, to filter out noise while you are in a call. This has dual transparency mode, long battery life at 46 hours, and touch slide control. 

The Honor Watch 6 has a 35 Day battery life, can be used for different sports and activities. You can analyze runs, do health management, and you can monitor blood pressure, sleep, do quick health scans and update you when you need to. It can also be used for NFC functions (pay and other devices).

Eason de Guzman who heads content and digital for Honor Philippines noted how Honor has been doing foldables since the very beginning. The V6 has Gold, Red, and White varieties. The design is also award winning. Made with soft touch velvet at the back, it has orbital camera and high polished finish. The battery also lasts longer even at this thin form, can last 24 hours unfolded, lasts longer than the more popular apple product. It has 6660mAh, engineered from ground up to set a standard how a foldable should be. They use Super Steel hinge at 2800MPa, rated to work at 500 K folds durable, dust and water resistant. They also use sports car engine grade material, SGS certified too.

Blooming at 18: Princess Aliyah

The gorgeous singer and actress Princess Aliyah is turning 18 very soon, and we've got a few things confirmed (so far) as she plans to celebrate her princess-strong woman themed birthday party. This press conference was done at the SEDA Hotel Vertis North in Quezon City. 

Princess says "This is a blessing, actually I just did plans for my debut last month. So now I am doing my gown, styling, and I'll get my PBB housemates on my birthday. They also told me a lot about a single they made for me which is AMBA, and I am so glad how it sounded, very pop princess and youthful. Initially I didn't want to celebrate my birthday but I actually have a lot of friends and extended family now which is why we went through with this. Since PBB I looked up to my Mom and since I'm turning 18, they will be a huge part of it. I love how it sounds too. Maybe people know how much of a baby I am, but I'm very strong and independent, but not to mar my sweet looks, I think I still want them to see that. I want my roles to be versatile, do contrabida roles, action, hopefully I could do that since I'm 18. I also want to do trekking on my own, I also want to have decisions, more responsibilities, and hope to just have good health for my family, that's all I want. I want the people who I've worked with to be there. Right now I am still finalizing things, I hope they could all come."

Princess is a woman now, and she wants to do pageants if the opportunity comes, she loves Catriona and Pia, but it's not on her mind right now (yet). She likens herself with Rapunzel and see that she could do more getting to know herself even more while outside her walls. She promised herself to concentrate on her career and want a partner that would support that.
