Oprah's Big Secret!

A family secret hidden for 25 years suddenly shocked the Queen of all media Oprah Winfrey on the January 24, 2011 episode of her show. Only her mother knew what it was and on a short confrontation 10 minutes on the show before that, she told Oprah the news... that she had another half Sister named Patricia. Her jaw dropped and said WHAT?!!!! Of course the episode above was their first meeting.

What made it all so touching was the younger sister knew about it for 2 years. Oprah just knew about it last Turkey Season and she never said anything about it to the media. What a nice person, if that happened to several people I know they probably would be in Jerry Springer tomorrow! LOL!

Anyway, her ratings seem to have picked up in the couple of weeks her OWN network was put up. Let's just wish her well on this discovery... and yes I watch her show so what?! LOL

Let's watch American Idol too. =)

OPRAH for Senator of Illinois

He said he knew Oprah wouldn't accept it!

It's quite surprising that this came in the news today. I just watched the Oprah show and the "valentine" episode (obviously a re run of some other year) and was kinda smiling about some of the surprises she's been giving the guests, one of which was an appearance by Patty La Belle and giving away a Red Volkswagen Beetle... it was cute but what puzzled me was this statement by the ill fated Gov. Rod Blagojevich that she ought to be the Senator of Illinois.... yeah you heard it, she could have been Senator Oprah Winfrey. ^_^

She helped a lot in the recent election obviously because she campaigned for the one and only US President Obama... well I bet yah she could not have accepted the senate seat... that's just too low profile hahaha... She could run for President for crying out loud... that's just too obvious... but really, politics is just going to tarnish her career and name. One of which she's probably taking care of in the years she's been in the business.

CHARICE meets MARIAH CAREY ; Another dream come true!

People thought things wouldn't be better than Charice already appearing in Oprah and having her to sing with the likes of Josh Groban, Michael Buble, Andrea Bocelli, and Celine Dion among other big names in the industry... but just this week, (i guess?!) a raw footage in youtube showed Charice meeting her longtime idol Mariah Carey... her young tears flowed on the carpet in this benefit concert they went to.... (interview seemed to be with Atty. Garfinkel) she met Mariah and her husband and once nobody thought it was possible until this happened. I'm so proud of this young girl from my homeland... I guess all Filipinos would be too right? ^_^

OPRAH SHOW: Charice and Celine Dion ; Dreams Come True

Dreams do come true with this 16yo girl from the Philippines. She gave a wonderful performance at Madison Square Garden. Her only dream was to perform with her lifetime idol Celine Dion... taking chances... here she is singing her heart out!






Notice that the Oprah audience even felt it, some of them even cried. Madison Square garden on the other hand had thousands of people on their feet.... a standing ovation for the feat.

This girl will come a long way...as Oprah says... we'll just wait for more things to happen to CHARICE!

I have never been so proud of this phenomenal girl from my homeland the Philippines. Charice continues to get audiences from around the globe on numerous standing ovations. She looks 12 yo but she's already 16. Oprah wants to help her and her mother start this dream. David Foster handles her and promises to make her a star. Let's watch her shine at Madison Square Garden with a duet with the one and only Celine Dion.... something to believe that wishes do come true! ^_^
