ALAMAT, Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera Dantes Celebrates DITO Telecommunity Wins

Friday, December 06, 2024

The premise of meeting primetime King and Queen Dingdong Dantes, Marian Rivera and talented PPOP group ALAMAT was certainly something I'd wish for during Christmas. A few nights ago, DITO Telecommunity celebrated with with media, guests and DITO subscribers and closed the year with the country's Fastest Mobile Network Award. It's something they've been steadfastly working on in improving business growth and consumer experience in the last few years. The event was witnessed by DITO executives Atty. Adel Tamano their current Chief Revenue Officer for Enterprise, Evelyn Jimenez the Chief Revenue Officer for Consumer Business and their stakeholders.

Ms. Evelyn Jimenez pronounced how DITO is still putting up infrastructure as we speak. Their dream is to get those far flung and underserved communities connected to the network so they too could benefit from the internet and fulfill their dreams too. They have received the Philippines Fastest Mobile Network Award (all in all 14 categories) from Opensignal beating their rivals in the country. Their 5G connection is on a different level, having over 287.2 Mbps which nearly doubles their closest competition. This is a milestone for DITO, something that they've don in the last half of 2023 and first half of 2024, but they're not stopping there.

Discovering Talent

Filipino work and craftsmanship is world class. DITO recently launched Galing DITO, to showcase those who excel in their craft (I remember Herminio Tan, a great sculptor from Antipolo which they did a few months ago), also this time, PPOP phenoms ALAMAT. We talked to the boys and saw how it has made their lives easy, they were happy to share their experience with it and the various shows they got mounted with the bullish telecom company. They are also doing a concert today called RAGASA at the New Frontier Theater in Araneta City. You should definitely watch this before the show!

Primetime King and Queen for DITO

Powerful couple Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera Dantes also obliged us with an interview. They were so happy to have been able to accomplish so much with DITO, and how they have been able to grow with it. Dingdong told us how they started and sees how huge the DITO Telecommunity is now, and was excited to tell us about what they do at home while they enjoy time with kids, or plainly working.

Marian was giddy, telling us how the need of being online 24/7 was answered by DITO. Whenever Dingdong is out for work, or if she's busy with a shoot, they do not fail to get in touch with each other because DITO is seamless and proved time and time again, to be fast whether for work or play. They call each other even at home when they're in different parts of the house. They also enjoy internet time with the kids because they only let them use it when both of them are present. I was so impressed how they managed to still have time for the cute and talented kids no matter how busy they are.

It just tells so much about how a company that believes in the Filipino talent, their artistry and supports them in their endeavors. Their endorsers believe in them, and this is why they've grown exponentially over the years since they started. They're not stopping there, because from what I've heard, both ALAMAT, Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera Dantes will be doing several shows and appearances to make sure their message comes across all demographics. They are still putting up infrastructure, but from what is seen so far with regards to their network performance, they're certainly with the right people.

We hope you get to enjoy these exclusive interviews with them like I did. Thank you to DITO Telecommunity for letting us experience interviewing ALAMAT and the King and Queen of Primetime.

DITO Made "Bayanihan" Felt in Southern Luzon

Saturday, November 16, 2024

Typhoon Kristine was quite devastating especially for those who are in Southern Luzon. DITO Telecommunity knows how hard it must have been so they didn't waste time giving a helping hand to our countrymen in that neck of the woods.

They have a program called Galing DITO CampX which fits the purpose, they partnered up with Batangas State University to hold a concert and used the proceeds for BSU's fundraising campaign. The concert entitled "PB is United, PB is ONE for Batangas" raised over Php 250,000 to help with daily essentials, food, temporary shelters and relief efforts for the communities they serve. Several DITO brand ambassadors and phenomenal PPOP group ALAMAT performed that evening specifically for the cause. They also built a multi faith chapel inside the campus to serve their students too.

DITO Chief Revenue Officer for Consumer Business Ms. Evelyn Jimenez emphasized how important it is to have the strength of the community be part of the efforts in rebuilding the province especially those who have been affected by the calamity. DITO stands by them and the Filipino people no matter how hard things may be for the folks there. At the DITO event, they also had students interact with their different booths, learn more about their products that's got new packages on prepaid, postpaid and home connections.

Over at Naga city, they made sure communication stands so they supported various LGU's by equipping them with needed phones and sim cards so folks from Dayangdang, Lerma and Triangulo can call for help, reach their families, and also have internet connection at the most pressing times.

In times of need, it's important for these things to become still accessible, so they could ease the hearts of worrying folks even if they are in the midst of danger there. If you want to know more about stories like these, go follow their social channels and check out their site dito.ph because everything's there!

Stars Shine at PinoyDropBall Launch

Wednesday, October 02, 2024

If it ain't in my site, I usually say it didn't happen. This time, it did. A few stars came out to play at the recent Pinoy Drop Ball Launch in Grand Hyatt in BGC. They weren't joking too when they said they'll provide entertainment because one by one, they came on stage and proved why the Filipino artists are a force to be reckoned with.

The country's sweetheart Maine Mendoza, clad in a pretty purple jumpsuit said hi to the audience, took more than the usual photos with BingoPlus&DigiPlus executives as they launch the new game Pinoy Drop Ball. It's based on the nostalgic one you used to do in fiesta perya, and is said to be an advancement they accomplished ahead of the rest. This will now be part of the line of home grown games they have in their platform, but the entertainment value they promised didn't end there.

Aside from the appearance of Maine Mendoza, they also had one of the nation's hottest PPOP group ALAMAT. They're from different parts of the country, which would be a good place to have them use the platform, but then again, it's available globally so that's a given. Aside from that, they got one of my favorite artists Julie Anne San Jose, who literally sang across the room and proved why she's one of the country's most powerful singers. They have measures and quality assurance for the things they use with the games, fair play is expected as they are duly licensed too. Their platform is certainly promising, if you see its worth, go ahead and do it today!

MAINE MENDOZA, JULIE ANNE SAN JOSE, ALAMAT Appear in PinoyDropBall Launch

It's been a while since I've seen the country's IT girl, Maine Mendoza. The last time I think was during the launch of her husband Arjo Atayde's restaurant in Quezon City. She was so nice, very approachable, so it's no surprise that companies still get her to represent them especially in entertainment. Recently, she was at the launch of Pinoy Drop Ball, the newest among DigiPlus' line of perya games which will be live streamed at every instance, something that's traditionally seen in local fairs in the Philippines.

Aside from Maine, the launch was also graced by one of the hottest boy groups in the country, ALAMAT who provided us with really good dance-able song numbers during that evening. Their Chairman Euseblo Tanco likened Pinoy Drop Ball to several of their existing entertainment offerings that are not only exciting but authentic and culturally resonant. According to him, this is a huge leap forward to put mortar and pestle offline fun into digital, which now is available for adults to enjoy. They follow strict standards, as it is appropriately licensed, and employ rules to make sure fair play and consistency happens at every aspect, and available whenever you want to enjoy it. They also change hosts every 20 minutes so no one gets tired when throwing the ball, the chance to become victorious is there!

It was surely an evening to remember, and with what they have on the platform rolled out, the variety of what people can enjoy is just a LOT! It was certainly awesome to see Maine Mendoza again in person, she's adorable!
