VibePH jocks all looked so gorgeous and handsome at the Purple Carpet

It's my first time covering the Awit Awards who has partnered with MQuest and the folks from VibePH. They also have partnered with Honor Philippines who lent us their newest phone, the Honor 400 5G which we used to take videos on the purple carpet before festivities began inside the newly revamped Meralco Theater. We needed to be there early to make sure we had time to see the artists arrive around noon, and they were quite generous posing for us at the VibePH Purple carpet. Awit Awards is an annual event where the PARI (Philippine Association of the Record Industry) honors some of the remarkable musical artists in the country. Even before the event began, I heard PPOP greats SB19 and BINI were receiving awards which I'm super happy about!

Here's some of the scenes at the Purple Carpet, this was in front of the Meralco Building which houses the theater. 

This event was certainly one of the grandest ones I've ever seen. I could see the dedication and work they put in to honor the bands, the groups and individual artists who received awards. I specifically love the part where I saw my own idol Ely Buendia who received the "Dangal ng Musikang Pilipino Award" for his contributions to the music industry. They also gave awards to SB19, their collabs, individual members (including my bias Felip!) and femme PPOP artists BINI. 

This was something that was expected, and they definitely delivered. Hosts Joao Constancia and Ryle Paolo Tan also.gave something extra for this hosting stint. I'd like to send our thanks to MQuest Ventures, PARI and HONOR Philippines for letting us cover the Awit Awards 2025 Powered by VibePH and shot entirely during this event with the Honor 400 5G.

GLOBE Announces GDay Festivities Including a BINI Concert!

Globe began the tradition of doing GDay on 9-17 and this year they are celebrating their 10th year. At the media launch, they are commiting to put customers at the heart of this celebration. It is meant to uplift the lives of Filipinos through digital innovation. This is the start of their season for giving thanks, in a bigger but more meaningful way.

UNILAB and Mercury Drug Celebrate 80 Years of Quality and Care with ALAGANG SUKI FEST 2025

8 whole decades is a long time, and that's exactly how long UNILAB and Mercury Drug has been providing quality and care for Filipinos. To celebrate with a bang, they got some of the hottest acts and personalities in the country to headline their show entitled "Alagang Suki Fest 2025". People were just shocked how they were able to combine the Koolpals, Jolina Slaydangal, Robi Domingo, and artist Belle Mariano, world dance champs Legit Status, hot band Mayonnaise, pop prince Darren Espanto, chart topper Maki, Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano, and the country's PPOP girl group BINI.

The venue was packed and they started the show with a few games with the audience to break the ice. 

Jolina was not just the momshie, but a generation that reminded us of the 90's, and how good it was til it lasted. Same with Robi who taught us how to take care of our tummies. Belle Mariano was the surprise of the evening, she was fun and had folks standing up, and went to the audience area because she really just wanted to have fun during her performance. She was really entertaining!

Belle really knew how to work the crowd, and she sang a few 80's and 90's hits, which really made us sing along with her. Her set was fun!

Legit Status showed us why they are world class. With jumps, tumbles and crump moves, we just watched knowing how difficult it is. That's passion personified.

Mayonnaise sang their hit songs, and thought to surprise us with JOPAY at the end of their set. Folks thought they wouldn't sing it but they did!

Darren and Maki really had the young ones mesmerized by their songs (and dance for Darren). Maki had a different sound, it appeals to a lot of folks. Though I haven't heard some of it, I am impressed. No wonder he's always in the mind of international acts who've heard his songs. He's really good! Darren on the other hand has performed his hits, and some of his newly released singles which were loved by many.

Highlight of the evening was Mr. Gary Valenciano, when folks thought it was going to be ballads, he comes completely bonkers with the Maneuvers. He didn't just wear the Mr. Pure Energy moniker, he became it. With high energy moves, songs, he got everyone off of their seats to dance and sing along with him. He brought us to church, he made us stars in our own seats, and that says a lot for a world class performer like him. Super love the evening because of that!

The nation's PPOP Girl Group, BINI made the crowd crazy. With their hit songs, and surprise number in the end, we were all just thankful how our dreams came true courtesy of UNILAB and Mercury Drug Corporation. Thank you for letting us be part of this wonderful celebration of your 80 years. Here's to more in the next few years because I'm sure you'll try an even bigger one right?!

PUREGOLD OPMCon 2025 Makes History: OPM Generations Showcased!

I'd be lying to you if I said I didn't despise going to the Philippine Arena because 1, it's too far, 2, travel is too tiring, and 3 if the artist is worth it. I reckon it's the same sentiment for almost anyone from Manila right? Well the folks from PUREGOLD got me thinking because as members, they'll be giving us VIP treatment plus a lineup of artists that NOBODY in the right mind could ever resist. Imagine, the BIGGEST acts in Filipino entertainment all in one place. The boys from SB19, girl group BINI, top band Sunkissed Lola, vixens G22, rising KAIA, artists Skusta Clee and talented Flow G in one stage made me say a resounding YES as soon as I heard it. Whatever hardship I'll be experiencing traveling there will all be worth it just as long as I see them all.

As you can see on the top photo, I'm a silent A'Tin and have that guy Ken as my bias. But no, that doesn't mean I don't like the rest, because I do. There's a reason why, because they've continued to represent the country, and really, they've made us all proud! This goes the same with the other groups in the list, and I just can't believe it happened. Plus, there's more.

At the event, they also surprised us with other iconic artists that performed with them. Names like James Reid, Rico Blanco, Mayonnaise, Yeng Constantino shocked us. . . then went on and did collabs with each other. It was really crazy, but crazy good. I felt I was witnessing history, thanks to Puregold who put this together out of their own pockets. They also had free stuff given away by their partner brands like Nestle, Nescafe, Koko Krunch, Chuckie, Tide, Safeguard, Cream Silk, Surf, Champion and Colgate. There were more but I didn't get to see them so they will remain unnamed haha! 

PUREGOLD OPMCON 2025 was certainly one for the books! It made history, seeing them all in one place was just a dream come true. Whoever says there was a group or fan war must be crazy. They're literally friends, and I'm sure this is not the last time that PUREGOLD is doing this. Thank you PUREGOLD!

Artists Call for Mutual Support at Puregold "Nasa Atin Ang Panalo" Thanksgiving Concert

Just got off the Puregold "Nasa Atin Ang Panalo" Thanksgiving Concert. This wasn't just a showcase of Filipino talent, but a call of sorts for fans to stay away from negativity. See, the boys and girls from BINI, SB19, SunKissed Lola and Flow G probably have seen some toxic fans pit them against each other, but what they don't realize is that they're all good friends in real life. I absolutely love how they took time to address that during the event, and why it is important to support each other rather than try push out people from the pedestal. After all, OPM Artists should always lift each other up, the entertainment they provided that evening, was short of AMAZING!

Before the show, they had front acts from KAHEL, ESAY and Letters From June. Part of the reason why they are doing this is because of Puregold's 25th Year Anniversary. They are also almost 500 strong as far as stores go, imagine, they only started with one at Shaw Boulevard a couple years back. It's a proud moment, and this concert is the ultimate way of them giving back. This is to thank you for the years of supporting them, by bringing together the BIGGEST acts in the OPM industry.

I had goosebumps once BINI went up on stage. Their demeanor, their happy disposition was certainly contagious. They reiterated how Blooms and A'Tin's should remain positive and support each other. I totally agree!

Then they surprised us during the Salamin Salamin part by having SB19's Justin perform with them. It was crazy to see that happen! Then during SB19's performance, all the ladies from BINI joined in during the GENTO number. Seeing them do that just sealed the deal, it felt so right, "Nasa Atin Ang Panalo!" indeed!

JOLLIBEE Taps BINI for Cheesy Yumburger

Jollibee got us at the Trinoma Activity Center as they transformed it into Cheesy Yumburger BESTFest to welcome the country's well loved girl group BINI. They are officially endorsers of the cheesiest, beefiest and best tasting Yumburger across the country... the Cheesy Yumburger. If that wasn't enough, they also represent the NEW Double Cheesy Yumburger.

I don't want to just write about it, so I'm sharing the video coverage we did that afternoon!

It was fun, the girls were extremely talented, and the whole place was quite crazy. Would you consume just one Cheesy Yumburger after all these? I don't think so! 

The girls even talked about how they were spending so many nights, right after China, Korea, they ordered right from the airport so when they get home, they just eat a whole burger and Chickenjoy because they miss it. It reminds them of home.

Congratulations ladies! You did good!
