A Glimpse of the iStudio Plus Store in Shangri-la Plaza Mall

It's been only a few months and change has definitely happened with the brand of iStudio Plus. After being a Premium Apple Reseller for years, they now carry MORE brands under their belt. What this means for consumers is OPTIONS, that in this day and age of different smartphone brands and accessories, you've got iStudio Plus stores you can go to.

After covering the iStudio Plus iPhone 16 event a couple weeks ago, they have opened up a brand new store over at the 3rd Floor of Shangri-la Plaza Mall in Mandaluyong City. We were able to get first dibs on some of the brands that they carry including top fan manufacturer Jisulife, smartphone manufacturer Samsung, and the really fun Divoom, a brand that has lots of bags, speakers, microphones, LED and accessories. iStudio plus also has their own branded products, which I love every bit of.

They carry Philips products, but I fancied this huge 30,000mAh power bank. It's small but compared to other brands, this has more capacity.

This is one of the things that are iStudio branded, they've got a lot! But what I dig about this brick is the two outputs. I don't have to wait for one device to charge and can do it at the same time!

A big surprise was this JBL Wind 3S portable bluetooth speaker, you can attach this to bikes when you're outdoors. Enjoy the fun of music even in the midst of your workout. There's more where this came from!

Being a Premium Apple Reseller, they carry Apple products like this Apple TV 4K. It's got really good audio and video quality. With it, you can Facetime people while you're in the living room. It also has access to Apple original shows and films!

Because it's hot in the Philippines, iStudio Plus carries Jisulife products. Different from the usual wireless rechargeable fans in the market, this is much stronger and lasts quite a long time. This is why it's the top selling brand of portable fans in the country, and in the world.

I'm a sucker for really good bluetooth speakers. Divoom has these. This is the Divoom Spark Pop Bluetooth Speaker, a kind of small portable speaker which they carry in store. Don't be fooled by how small it is because it sound so loud and crisp in real life. Imagine the things you can do with this while you're traveling to other countries or domestically. You don't have to be bored at all!

This is just the tip of the iceberg, during the event, they also told us that they're planning to open/revamp a few more stores within the year. They are also targeting even more before 2030. It's going to be more convenient shopping for phones, audio, video devices and accessories because they made it all in one place, at iStudio Plus!

12.12 Steals, Deals and Everything Between at Shopee

I know it's almost 12, but can't just stand around and do nothing. So the best thing to do is give you a few things you could consider getting from Shopee. There's tons of things around, but since I've attended their event a few days ago, I've come to a conclusion that there's no escaping the deals and steals they have, so just give in and shop. TECNO SPARK 20

 

This is the upgraded version of the previous SPARK series, but made affordable. It regularly is priced Php 5,599, pretty good hardware for gaming. So if your boyfriend, brother, husband needs on this holidays, this is the time to get it. They also have the Spark 20 Pro out before the year ends, so if not the Spark 20, get the other one instead.

SONY ZV 1

If you're looking to up your vlogging game, one of the most loved brands of cameras actually come from SONY. This ZV-1 has a 20.1 Megapixel 1 inch type sensor, real time tracking, eye auto focus, a bokeh switch (so you are not lens dependent), a directional mic with wind screen so you don't need that furry cover for it. This also supports 4K, comes with a 64GB SD card which is already good, but you always can have more to save those precious moments on travels and adventures. Costs around 40 ish, dependent on the accessories you include it with.

HONOR Smartphones 

HONOR has several phones on sale this 12.12. Some products will also be 50 percent OFF which is really huge if you're out to get a phone. The HONOR X9a 5G is one that I use, and quite abuse, but it's one of the toughest phones I've ever had and I've used it for coverages and interviews. I could say this is much for the clumsy ones, I admit, I've dropped it a few times and it didn't get dent or damaged whatsoever. I've seen this be run over by a car during the launch (as I was there) and it's a pretty tough cookie. The HONOR 90 on the other hand is good for photos, if you're much into that in your socials, it would be better to get that instead.

REALME 11

Their best phone currently is the Realme 11. It's very pretty colorwise, has ample screen resolution, high screen to body ratio, bright and tough with a Corning Gorilla Glass 5. You can get 8GB RAM with it, and they're running a promo when the clock strikes 12 on 12.12. I would suggest you get this if you're more into video. You can also do a bit of gaming with it with ease, I've had an older model that still works but I suggest you don't drop it as much because glass is glass. They also give freebies, so check their offers if they have them on special dates.

 POCO F5

Meet the POCO F5. This is an 8GB phone with a 256GB internal storage. It also comes in a 12GB, 256GB version too plus a 1 year warranty. That's how confident they are with the product. It's got a Snapdragon 7 Gen 2 processor and a 120Hz Flow AMOLED so you won't get lags on your heavy games. Yes, it's definitely the one to look out for if you're into playing all day long because the technology it employs on RAM is quite different, uses fast flash memory. The back camera is powerful too when zoomed in, image quality is quite sufficient. It also employs dual stabilization tech so those videos you take won't get you dizzy. It has propreitary film filters for a more vintage look on photos. It looks and feels slim too with the bezel design and the colors on display is phenomenal. They also deliver fast than usual, so go give it a try if you're looking for something that could do your games. At 44 percent off just on this date, this would really make a good buy.

Harman International Re-Opens JBL Acoustical Space in SM Megamall

It's impressive to see Harman Kardon-JBL expand really fast in just a few months. We've witnessed to see them open several stores successfully and with the advent of the great new audio, video and portable devices in the market, they make the Filipinos capability to purchase world class brands quite easy with their presence here. Now they've set up shop at the SM Megamall Cyberzone located at the 4th floor. This is JBL Acoustical Space.

They're doing a huge sale on Harman Kardon speakers today, up to 30% off it's original price which is a BIG deal already.

I love these waterproof JBL speakers, really impressed by how they even display it with a working water source inside the store. How's that even possible that it works even when it's totally wet!

I was able to see them close down some stores and open other ones in other malls in the city. This time, they're right smack in the busiest technology hub in Quezon City at SM North Edsa Annex's third floor. They're carrying products like JBL, Harman Kardon, AKG and others. From multi speaker systems, wireless ones, to portable audio, headphones, earphones and earplugs, they've got that all covered inside the store. They also have audio and video equipment so you can put up your theater nicely in your own homes. If you're skeptic, they also can get you inside JBL Experience rooms so you can test it out. They've got a mini theater ready for you to sit down, relax and experience in. It's one of the most effective ways to show you how quality audio systems can't be beat by cheap ones out there in the market.

Some of the items you see on the video are on sale. I specifically like the JBL Portable Speakers which are also Splashproof. They've got one demoe'd inside the store complete with running water pouring onto the device. You can try and pair it up with your phone and it'll still sound so great you'd want to have your hands on it. You should pay a visit today or this Christmas season as some of the items they have are with huge discounts. The AKG headphones and Harman Kardon speakers were nice too. I haven't really tried them yet so maybe that's exactly what I'll do the next time I'd pay a visit on this branch at the 3rd floor of SM North Edsa Annex. They've amped up the place and it looks so good from where I'm seeing it.

Hey look! International brands JBL and Harman/Kardon just opened up shop at the third floor of popular Fairview Terraces north of Metro Manila. It's a little far I know but I think this is designed to cater to the communities here because it's a growing market with the commercial and residential places here.

The place has got a pass through door so you can go around both stores with ease and check out the products of both brands as well. They also have a trade in and free calibration promo for JBL, AKG and Harman/Kardon products now. You can have them checked and prequalified of course before they do consider it for upgrades because it must be in working condition. Aside from that, they're also giving away tons of prizes via raffle promo. Every Php 3,000 worth of purchase gets you tickets so you can win 3 JBL Clips and 5 winners of JBL Limited Edition shirts, a Harman/Kardon Esquire for purchases done until May 31 only.
