was such a beautiful afternoon to be in the midst of ladies clad in
their best yellow ensembles for a luncheon, and beauty day together with
Miss World 2013, Megan Young. It's been a while since I've seen her,
and the last time I think was also an event. Today was sort of a
celebration because MEGAN Beauty is renewing their ties with the
gorgeous lady from Zambales, the one with a very kind soul.
They also dub this event as "Megaganda Ka Pa: Megan Beauties Day", to thank the countless people who have supported them all these years. With their namesake Megan Young as part of their endorsers, she felt like home for so many women who use the several products they have released. Though so beautiful, Megan doesn't even put makeup that much, only when work calls, and invests more on her skin. It shows, she has that certain glow that if you see her with or without makeup, she's still gorgeous.
Megan Young says "Thank you for making me a part of Megan Beauty, I am happy that I get to work with a company that I believe in and of course, kapangalan ko! There's no truth that I own the brand, I'm just so glad that we could get to be here, you know how good Megan Beauty is and how easy it is to use their products. Bela Padilla has made waves being a very versatile actress, a noted writer, and a very talented director. Since last year, she's been living in the UK and have been enjoying and found refuge in the cold weather, while still being able to work in PH based projects when needed. She goes back to the Philippines when needed and this time, she's wearing a new hat other than endorsing beauty brands. She made one of her own, and called it properly, BELA.

Two products were introduced during the launch namely BELA Dot Perfection and BELA Color Changing Lip Balm. We got to ask her a few questions during the event and she says "I've been using this cheek and lip balm for a few months since I had prototypes. I really use it, and when I put my name on it I truly believe it. I have been on hiatus, but today I believe you guys can use it too. I know it works, and I leave the house with nothing but tint. The video earlier showcased different people of different ages. It is safe for everyone, and can say I'm the biggest fan of it. The first collection is just 2 things, but you can use it every day."
She adds "We are now available in three malls in Bacolod where we did a pre launch. Apply only one dot on each cheek because it is very potent (hence a tube will last you a few months). We found manufacturers in the Philippines and tested it with a lot of people. It was the best way we could see if the products work or not. This is color adaptive so it can be used for different skin types. It looks natural and will look like skin blush as an end product. We want to do this first and maybe have other artists or people to do other products under the Bela brand. It's very moisturizing, and I'm even very sensitive and I use this constantly. I get breakouts with other brands but this one had no reaction on me."
As for the brand, she mentioned "I wanna veer away from empowerment angle because I believe it's not because of looks that we become confident. I don't have a full face of makeup, but I want people to feel good even without putting much on our skin."

Bela is quite happy how this all seem to turn out. From countless hours of conceptualizing a product that she loves, to using it countless times even without anything on in public, just these two. She also packaged it in her lucky color, made it for the tropical climate and want every mary, joe, rupaul or brando to use it if they feel like it. No matter what shape or form you are, you can use BELA. She found her brand, you can too.

CATHY DOLL Holds #WhatADollDay at SM North EDSA

The gorgeous people from CATHY DOLL Philippines made the SM Beauty space even prettier with a #WhatADollDay event. This was done for folks who love the brand and onlookers that would want to get first dibs of their newest CC Cream line and new products together with influencers Toni, Echo, Cha and Dior... and a surprise guest they revealed later on, the Asoka Challenge Queen herself Lenie Aycardo.
This is the first time I was covering a Cathy Doll event, and I used to see them in different BL series that I watch especially those from Thailand. They're extremely popular, and with good reason, because their products really do work. It also doesn't cost much which makes it possible for them to be used for a greater demographic. It was so nice to see the brand also puts importance in being inclusive hence their endorsers. No matter what orientation, shape or form you are, Cathy Doll products are made especially for you.

Jericho and Dior took time to introduce the Cathy Doll CC Lip Serum and Cathy Doll Get Set Go Browcara. They have these in different shades and scents, and can be used if you are either fair or brown skinned. I'd be surprised how confident Jericho was during the talk and how he showed it doesn't make you less of a man if you are using cosmetics these days, as they say, it's already 2024! Dior on the other hand taught how to apply the browcara, as some of you may know, it'll make your brow appear more pronounced but not leech like. It looked good on them and it was applied in a few minutes. Men need perfect brows too.
Toni and Cha on the other hand put importance on the base foundations, powders and concealers. Aside from skin prep, you need to have the right shade for those dark spots. Being fair or morena, Cathy Doll has several products for you like the Cathy Doll Vitamin C Ampoule Powder Pact Press Powder, Cathy Doll Vitamin C Ampoule Concealer and the Cathy Doll ACNE CC Speed Oil Control Powder in Translucent form. Lenie Aycardo talked in front to tell how she was able to use Cathy Doll products even for the Asoka Challenge which she was famous for. She's a long time user and was surprised with the new ones that they launched on this day because they previous ones were already apt for the different looks she made on the video. She also shares that it doesn't need to be expensive in order to get quality make up, Cathy Doll has different ones for different skin tones and if she could do it, so can you!
Right now, I'm slowly checking what products I could use for my daily regimen since I need to take care of my lips specifically. These new lip serums and tints would be quite handy to carry around especially for events that I cover and go to.

Rising from obscurity into the most popular internet celebrities in the country is Team Bardagulan's very own Vrix, Cholo, Christian and Perlas. Their talk in the wee hours of the morning have been loved by the masses because of how no holds barred it is, kept it real and relatable.
LUXE CEO Ms. Anna Magkawas didn't just look at their numbers, but knew how against the odds, would help her LUXE Beauty and Wellness Group's products become more popular in the social media platforms like TikTok and Facebook if they become part of the equation. Perlas says "We are just small content creators, and being trusted by a big brand like LUXE just means a lot to me. I'm only an ordinary person who just sold products, even got lots of returns, but now live a different life. I promise to do my best to become a huge help for LUXE so it could reach more people, even those who are in my age to use the same things I do from this brand."
Then, Ms. Anna Magkawas told the audience that the surprise doesn't end there because she brought Cholo and Christian in right after they gave a congratulatory message for Perlas. After that, Vrix came in to with a bouquet of flowers for Christian. Then they were announced as the new brand ambassadors of LUXE. Aside from being part of the family, they will be helping Ms. Anna Magkawas to sell her countless products through live streams. Something they've been good at in real life.
Then we sat with them later on in the program, we got to ask questions especially about what they feel about being part of LUXE. Some of them have really worked hard to get where they are now. Ms. Anna also told us the reason why she got them as endorsers, they have a connection, and felt they are connected to something bigger. Hopefully, they could help LUXE gain even more things in the years to come.
ANDREA BRILLANTES Takes TWO with DEAR FACE

Your lovely Blythe showed up for media and corporate executives as she gets additional years as the face of Dear Face Beauty Melon Milk.
It was held at Lore Manila, served food by Chef Tatung. The feeling was
so festive as the high selling Beauty Milk Melon Milk was laid on
installations depicting the Hamptons. During the event, it was announced
that she will be continuing her contract for an additional 2 years,
which we think is well deserved. Andrea has been really one hardworking
woman in terms of promoting the drink on her socials, she also takes the
time to talk about it with friends, family, her fans, and followers.
Founder
and CEO Ms. Jonah says "We wanted to renew our partnership with Andrea
even if our initial contract hasn't ended because we have a genuine bond
with Blythe. She is also an effective endorser, one that converts
sales. She's the real thing."
No wonder she's been renewed for 2
more years. An effective endorser would really take the brand to places

At a packed space over at Blue Leaf Cosmopolitan in Pasig City, noted brand Brilliant Skin Essentials just launched the new "Hello! Melo Beauty Drink" and their endorser Kapamilya Actress Kim Chiu.
Kim has been teased a lot on Brilliant Skin Essentials social channels lately and seems mighty proud of this new endorsement. Brilliant Skin Essentials Hello! Melo has vitamins and minerals that aims to improve your overall skin health, relieve joint pains, prevent bone loss, improve gut conditions, strengthen hair and nails, and support weight loss.
It comes in sachets, stevia, Ceramides, Grapeseed Extract, Melon Extract (which is why it's flavored like that of a melon!), Green Tea extract, Sodum Ascorbate (a form of vitamin C) and others.

Looks like Chie Filomeno is on a roll as she had us excited during the Glam and Glow event of SkeenCare, a new brand of personal care essentials founded in 2019.
Their story is so inspiring. Imagine starting with a 10K capital, venturing into reselling, then later having their own brand appearing in various online platforms. With the arrival of their premier peeling lotion, it catapulted them in the forefront of the beauty and wellness industry.
Aside from their peeling lotion, their current line of products include Sunscreen Creams, Lotions, (NEW!) Rejuvenating and Maintenance Sets, Healing Balms, Soaps, Deo Mist, Feminine Wash and Underarm Cream.
