The World Building and Construction Exposition 2012!

Sunday, February 19, 2012

From last year's World Bazaar Festival and showing of over 200,000 people who walked through 700 stores, stalls and stations; this year would even be BIGGER and BETTER as the World Building and Construction Exposition 2012 (WORLDBEX 2012) open up its doors from March 14 to 18, 2012 at the World Trade Center Metro Manila's East Wing, Philippine Trade Training Center. At the eve of the seemingly booming construction/architectural business in country they have completely made this a very important occasion in anyone's calendar; and by far this is one of the interesting events from WORLDBEX International; the country's premier building exposition authority.

They now have separated the venue to simple, logical and functional entities. The Furniture Gallery which now contains moveable art/classical/modern designs, Architects’ and Interior Designers’ Gallery which contains the world class pieces of renowned designers here and abroad plus the Grand Embassy Pavilion that will be billeted by embassies/international entities showcasing their wares and technologies to the enjoyment of the public. This will surely spark the interest of dealers here and abroad; everyone will converge in WTC in those said dates! This year's theme promptly called BUILDING THE FUTURE will surely contain in a nutshell what this event is all about. It's nation building and how the construction business' role in the lives of Filipinos - non Filipinos alike will take shape and form from the projects that they are doing now. They are also supporting new talent through Obra Maestra: Disenio Ecologico where interior design students show their best together with construction supply giant Wilcon Depot and the Council of Interior Design Educators. This will definitely be a great exposition in March! We can't wait for it!

Christmas Is Near: Time for the 11th WORLD BAZAAR FESTIVAL!

Thursday, December 01, 2011

Chestnuts roasting on an open fire... well I ain't going to be singing anytime soon on my site but here's even better news that would get you in the mood!

Yes you heard that right! On December 2 - 18 the doors of World Trade Center Manila will witness the grandest sale in the Metro dubbed as the 11th WORLD BAZAAR FESTIVAL!

This bazaar is the country's biggest and grandest gathering of entrepreneurs and establishments set to only do one thing... help a worthy cause that would benefit the ABS-CBN Foundation.

Satisfying your shopping pleasures and having a great time wouldn't be enough, this is Christmas so they are making it a little more special this year. Wouldn't you want to shop for something from Judy Ann Santos, Bea Alonzo, Angelica Panganiban, Xian Lim, Matteo Guidicelli, Phoemela Baranda and other KAPAMILYA stars closet? They're all selling them all for charity and somehow, somewhere in between you will get to see them too!

On December 2 - 18 make sure you line up at the World Trade Center from 12nn to 10pm every Monday to Thursday and 10am til 12mn Friday to Sunday. Don't worry too much about shelling out cash because the "Gadgets Craze" happening only on the 13th and the 15th can get you awesome deals in even GREATER payment options. How else would you want to pay for that item you want/need to buy for Christmas? And remember, you are going to help a LOT of kids and those in need. Isn't that reason enough to go to the 11th WORLD BAZAAR FESTIVAL!!

=)

1st International Agriculture and Tourism Expo!

Tuesday, June 14, 2011

T
he Philippines has and would probably always be an Agricultural country. Our economy may have been modified in the last few years but generally we live and breathe in this industry. One significant sector in the market that is making a lot of opportunities is tourism and what better way to promote it but on this 1st International Agriculture and Tourism Expo to be held on June 30 to July 2 at the World Trade Center, Pasay City.

This is their attempt to combine these two areas which is a VERY good idea in my books. Imagine these farmlands that we have in the provinces converted into a place to stay for tourists. Fishing, planting trees, taking care of animals, getting their food from the same organic farm... wouldn't that be nice to do rather than going to hotels and just the busy streets of Manila? It's something different and it would definitely show something that is NOT THE USUAL Philippine vacation. It would be entirely different from other countries; and this uniqueness would be the selling factor. It would create jobs and income generating opportunities for everyone else in the country.

Come to the event and enjoy live bands, games, freebies, food and fun! This will surely change the tourism and agricultural landscape in the country!

Kapish?!

The City of Biñan at Night

Friday, August 20, 2010

DSC_0031

This is one of the few occurrences that I have to do long exposures. To tell you honestly I hate bringing tripods because mine is heavy and bulky. With the whole schedule riding on 8PM to 4AM I could have just concentrated on the model shoot but I decided to go with the flow and try out what I haven't been doing much in photography. So I said to myself, "I'll try this one now!".

DSC_0049

Everyone did setup their tripods and I was trying to get a hint on what I'll do. We were all secured and I felt the security the Mayor sent us did a very good job about letting us know we're safe. I was having a hard time pressing the button on my cam because it was also getting the images a little blurred. Then I remembered, "Wait, I think I have a remote in my bag" so I hurriedly scuffled to find it and there it was on the side pocket. I got to shoot comfortably after that. Exposures took a few seconds and I was trying not to have flares on it. All in all I did a good job but not quite, see those flares? It's because I didn't remove my UV filter ha-ha!

Anyway, I'm sure there will be another time for this. I had a really nice time in Biñan and I'm sure the night scenes are all nicely captured. When will I do this again?! Maybe in a few weeks, I just don't have the time to do so in the evening because I work at these hours. I'll have someone teach me about it so I'll be a well rounded photographer. Wouldn't that be nice?! =)
