The H.U.B. : Holiday Urban Bazaar!

This is it! It's where the magic happens for Ballers, Urban Dwellers, Skaters, Dancers, Graffiti/Graphic Artists and Hiphop Enthusiats... THE H.U.B. holiday urban bazaar is happening on December 15, 2012 at the B Side - The Collective Courtyard located at Malugay Street in Makati City!

For those who love shoes, shirts, gears and accessories this is the best place to get those hard to find urban wear that so many people want this season! You better save up and get to these stores and stash up some great finds which would surely be the envy of your friends!

There will be lots of activities too like a 1 on 1 All-Styles Dance Battle, Game of S.K.A.T.E., a Basketball Shoot-out, Low Riders Exhibit by Pinas Low Ridaz and the Freedom Wall. Music will be provided by DJ SPNZ of Jeepney Music and performing artists ABRA, JOSEF AMARRA, RON HENLEY and PIKASO will be there too to provide the needed genius which you can only see on THE H.U.B. This could be the last hurrah for 2012 so do yourself a favor and drop by.

50 stores are lined up to make sure you have so many things to choose from which only this Holiday Urban Bazaar can get for you! So if you are up for early Christmas shopping or just got your bonuses then head on THE H.U.B. at  B-Side, The Collective Courtyard Malugay Street Makati. Stores open from 1PM-8PM.

ADIDAS Laced Up Tour 2012 Event!

Of course I had to wear my Adidas!

Armed with my Star Wars edition Adidas I went to Time in Makati Avenue last week to get a feel of what's up with the urban scene once more. I gladly went in and saw a different crowd, which this time was almost all full blooded dancers. I wanted to join but I had to see this first, this is the Adidas Laced Up Event!

Awesome moves, bboy just came alive inside Time. The laced up event is a battle of 15 best dancers in the metro and sure enough we were treated to see some great men and women that just exude how it feels to wear Adidas. It first started with 5 competitors. Each round having to choose one person, then on the last one there will be three finalists.

TIME in Makati Avenue was quite nice. The guys probably had great after performing stunts one after another because this cozy venue was rocking with the best hits by world class DJ's that Adidas got for all of us who adore the lifestyle this brand brings.

Everyone brought their shoes along. There were different designs, colors and combinations that I haven't seen yet so it was a treat to see them there too.

And the ladies even got busier as the night progresses. They didn't really show care if the other competitors were guys. They are giving them a run for their money and title.

Hosts were awesome. They knew what we were up to. There were different artists doing different things. Hip hop, street, popping, crumping, I had my share of educating too because some of these guys were doing things that I haven't seen before being done by Filipino peeps. Although they came from the US, Japan or anywhere else in the world they were doing their routines this time as Filipinos and they are damn good at it. After they were divided to three groups of five and they chose 1 rep on each group, the three finalists were out and they definitely made remarkable achievements just by winning their group. Some of them were really good just in that phase.

And it wasn't easy because I saw some competitors were from Philippine All Stars. No joke!

Who won?

The finalists had only a few minutes rest but they gave out their all. It resulted to another round of dance because they couldn't decide who should win. Then after all the drama...

Urban Athletics - SUPRA ASIAN TOUR 2012 MANILA

It's one of the places I've enjoyed going to because of its culture. I'm not going to pretend I have the same lifestyle as these guys do but I do appreciate the shoes and the unique personalities that endorse them. They were definitely killing it at the Urban Athletics store in Greenbelt 3. We were fortunate enough to cover the Manila leg of the Supra Asian Tour of these skating and extreme sport professionals. We also had a grand time seeing the faces of these hardcore skaters light up because they got to connect with their Filipino fans. The Pinoys obviously love them that much to, to the point of even having the emblems or monickers of their skate heroes tattooed on their abs, arms and necks. This is the SUPRA ASIAN TOUR 2012 in Manila!

Providing mood music was gorgeous DJ Summer! She was dressed for the occasion too! :)

Skaters from all around Metro Manila and nearby provinces flocked to the Urban Athletics store. They were all eagerly awaiting their personal idols/skating gods. They all had their skate boards with them mind you. Yes there was free flowing beer available but not everyone was served, there were minors in the crowd. Good job getting that taken cared of!

A few minutes later, I couldn't move around anymore because dang these guys filled up the room! I haven't seen the Urban Athletics store this much since the last event held here. They were a rowdy bunch!

Just look at the cities that are included in this tour and you'll know why we're proud hosts of this gig. Manila just looks extra pretty alongside these ones! Leveling! LOL

There were more things to celebrate for other than the Skate heroes, it's these set of shoes. I haven't seen Supra or Ellington this up close. Then I said to myself, "Dang I want one too!" *insert puppy dog eyes here*. For what its worth all of the Skate superstars who went there had this brand worn. It tells you they have good taste.

Steve Williams, Erik Ellington, Neen Williams, Keelan Dadd, Boo Johnson, Kevin Romar and Spencer Hamilton suddenly stormed the venue and the crowd just went wild!

 You mix Men + Ladies + Beer + Rowdy crowd =  that just means a lethal party in Manila! Just look at their faces and you'll know they are enjoying the scene in Manila. It was epic!

It don't matter if the place was crazy! It was just the right time for these skating superstars to get in touch with their fans from the Philippines. To aspire to be them and be with them, how can you not be happy with that!

Hundreds of people lined up patiently to get a glimpse, get some of their gears signed and take photos of them. It was one awesome night of connecting and getting to know their Skate gods up close like that was but a dream for some of these guys. I can relate!

It was a blast and but a successful event for Supra, Ellington and of course Urban Athletics where you'll find all of these brands under one roof. Thank you so much to PRC Inc. and everyone behind this launch who hooked us up with this awesome event! I had so much fun and am looking forward to see the next one soon!
