Some Cool Urban Pieces from NOIX Gear

Saturday, September 09, 2017

I'm not basic (thank God!), or at least I don't think so. I like cool clothes and sometimes play with it. So since I'm doing a whole day of blogging today, I'll include this new brand called NOIX. It's pronounced as it is spelled, so in a nutshell you have to say the letter x haha. Anyway, this cool new brand has already been released in the market last August 16, 2017. I look good on it obviously and their aesthetics fit me. I guess it's more urban than plain street style, just the way I like it.

They've got other things on their store that you would really love. These printed tees in black, camou pretty much sums up a part of my wardrobe, it's staple because it looks good anytime of the day.

They also have accessories like these small messenger bags, some leather bracelets (which are quite hip now), and my favorite items in their current line right now, the hoodies! Available in black and white, I like the black one more though because it makes me look thinner in photos LOL! I mean who doesn't like shedding a few pounds right?

Oh and since I'm in Meranti Hotel right now and alone in my room, why not do my own photoshoot! Hahaha because we're funny like that!

Great Man Bags at URBAN TRAVELLER & CO.

Wednesday, December 21, 2016

It's been a journey, to mostly find an apt place to find a classy, luxurious but very useful man bags in the Philippines. It's a young concept, to think of a "carry" culture in Southeast Asia, but it is happening. To even think that it's manly to call it a "man" bag must have raised the eyebrows of a lot people, but it all comes to function, to reliability, priorities, and of course looking good. Anybody in their right mind shouldn't always call it hipster, but you're free to call it that. Then when we visited a store called URBAN TRAVELLER & CO. at the 3rd Floor of Greenbelt 5 a few days ago, I just felt I was in man bag heaven!

This is their pop up store and they've got another one in Power Plant Mall in Rockwell. You might think it's a little intimidating, but really it's a one stop shop for all things you'll love as a man, or for your man. Now I know it's the holidays and if you haven't thought of a gift for a guy friend, a loved one or relative, this place will not only give you the answers, but may just confuse you because there's a LOT of them here! It's already curated, so you're assured that the only things that are inside the show are already hand picked items that has passed the standards of the Urban Traveller Co. management, who themselves have been using these products. Designer brands from all around the world, it was bound to be good and I took the liberty of taking photos of some of the best!

Now I beg your pardon for not taking mental notes of the bag manufacturer, but I think this is from Venque. It's a travel and accessories brand from Toronto, Canada. What I like mostly from this bag is that it's not your run of the mill knapsack. It's different in construction and feels like a handy duffle/duffel bag made of strong fabric. Now all you need to do is carry this around with a huge beard, a beanie and perhaps some really cool leather boots.

Now this one is a little special. It's from a brand called AKABA, a bag made in the Philippines. Nope, you're not seeing things. I actually have come across them several times in blogging events and they've been really good at making people know about the communities they help. If you notice the flaps on this one, they're made of indigenous fabric made by natives of Mindoro. They also do it in different parts of the Philippines like the ones in the north, even down south in Mindanao. Think of the lives you help improve just by patronizing this one eh? Plus it's a great heritage rucksack made of quality leather and fabric.

BUM Launches New Collection and Endorsers Nash, Diego, Jane and Ella

Sunday, March 16, 2014

The well loved street/urban wear brand BUM took us on a whim through a grand fashion show called UNLEASH YOUR REALITEE. From hiding your true self, to anime, to rock and cosplay... they've done a lot to get you unravel yourself. That's their call this season and their Summer Collection speaks of pastel colors now even when they were dark and mystifying in the past. It's a lot of change but judging from the pieces we saw on the runway that evening... we also felt it was time! (Word of warning: Picture heavy post because this is 3 collections in one show!)

Since the Tees were the star of the show, we noticed right from entering the venue some mannequins on the side. They were showing off the new designs and prints that will soon populate BUM's racks. But wait, all along I thought they were mannequins... some of them are real people! I was startled when some of them moved!

I also had a small chat with the creative people behind the show and the campaigns shoot. In the middle is Rai Lacoste with his sister on the left. The guy on the right is photographer Ash Evasco. I must say, he did a pretty good job with the new endorsers which you'll see in a bit!

I already love what I'm seeing. The colors alone got me excited! Add to that some new patterns and designs on the shirts. The material also improved. You'll feel how much care they put into every shirt.

Bloggers were already at it. MJ, Edsel and Jeng were doing Twitter, FB, Instagram so you guys can get the latest photos of the stars that arrived there. Speaking of which, one already arrived!

That's Bea Binene. She's the lone GMA Artist that endorses BUM now. She says it doesn't matter because whether you are from other stations, once that you become part of the BUM family you won't feel any different. We'll see her on the show later too!

The fashion show started with a little introduction; Irish music and some Leprechaun looking chap that speaks French hosting the show. The lights were dimmed, and the models came out one by one.

Now see how you can put these shirts into good use? Who can say these are ordinary tees? It's fashionable, definitely edgy! Plus, I love the stitched pants. Some even have color on them, would they have something in my size? I hope so!
