Benedix Ramos, Omar Udin, Angela Ken on STAR MAGIC Spotlight

Performers by heart, we talked to Benedix Ramos, Omar Udin and Angela Ken this afternoon. 

Omar says "It feels just like yesterday, that's where it all started, my love for performing and music. It humbles me to see that. Reviews of The Notebook the musical made people remember their own parents, where we sing what we feel. It is special but couldn't figure out the words and memories, we had to stay present."

Benedix says "I almost cried seeing those milestones, but I haven't wrapped my head in front of the camera, but I dreamed of doing this, the best that I can. I am grateful to be part of Star Magic. We are doing The Notebook, the musical based on the book. Recently, I feel it was like different phases of my life. It might be a love story, but it is a kind of love and the hope that true love exists. A lot of people know Ali and Noah, but since this is a musical, it's going to be very different. 

I've seen Angela Ken during an event, and I must say her music is different. She says "I realized how much 6 years have gone, as artists, it feels humbling to see that." 

They talked lengthy about the musical which is still being staged today. They have veterans, and are proud about recent reviews of it. Each character has a purpose, while they talk about the story, who to give the notebook to, I guess that spoiled things LOL. 

Angela will be having a concert of her own. It's called Panahon Na Natin, after her busking tour, and an EP, people have been loving her continuously and watched her on stage. It will be filled with her originals, and new songs, plus a release of new single Tayo Lang which she wrote when she was 18. She's pretty nervous but really excited too.

They've got bright futures ahead of them but. supporting them during their stint in The Notebook and their respective concerts would be great, this is going to be good!

Cherry Pie Picache Shocked About Her Jewelry Pieces As Seen by Ms. Charo Cordial and MADDOX JEWELRY

Talented actress Ms. Cherry Pie Picache got the shock of her life when she visited the MADDOX JEWELRY branch in Marikina City. She brought an heirloom set which she had kept for years. She's been in the industry for a while now and bought it while she was working, and wanted to keep it as an investment too. During that time, she thought it was made of natural diamonds (sans certificate), and trusted the person. While waiting, she went around the place and looked at other pieces and said OMG on those that she loved. She believes in wearing them, enjoying them and not just keeping them in boxes. She's also okay in selling them.

After a few minutes, the results of the test they did for the set came in. They found out that the well kept set was 18 karat gold, but the stones were all moissanite, she almost fell off her seat. She was clearly duped, and felt really sad about it. 

They also talked about her lengthy career in showbiz and her relationship with actor Edu Manzano, where she divulged an amicable decision to part ways. Everything was mutual. She also shared how one should always be always sure in choosing jewelry or the love of your life. Fresh Catch: GABBI GARCIA Is The New Face Of Salmon

Glorietta was filled to the brim as Salmon did their Feels Good Show at the activity center. They had a lot of booths for those who love them plus some fans of their newest endorser Gabbi Garcia.

Gabbi shared her experience on being very open about her finances. She is a celebrity but very practical, she doesn't spend beyond her means. She's so obsessed with deals and is very game with sale racks. Whenever she goes out of the country, she checks those items that have been marked down and as long as it is fashionable (for her work), she would gladly get it. Shopping is easy if you do it digitally and adds that investing in time deposit is something she does very often and Salmon answers that. 

The show was also graced by Baus Rufo and Joy Barcoma, and I was super glad they had their mini reunion of sorts in this event. They were a riot! Plus, Sam YG also entertained folks during the first part of the show, he is after all the first endorser. Sam said he is so happy for Gabbi because Salmon had her so the message could be communicated to another age demographic.

Gabbi adds "I am very intentional when I choose brands that I partner with and I love what we do with Salmon. I budget for food and trips, also gifts because that is my love language. I never go beyond my means, I saved up and now enjoy what I earn. Salmon came in a good time because I want my money to work for me. I worked hard for it. "
