My Favorite Things in 2008

I know this concept is not that original and a lot of people are doing it already but I think I have to put my own one up since I had nothing to do today.

Favorite Website - Google, Pay Per Post, Socialspark, and ZamZar

Google just awarded me my most precious page rank! Hooray! Payperpost and Socialspark for obvious reasons and Zamzar because its the next best thing since sliced bread.. everything in the face of the earth it can convert your files!

Favorite Expression - "Utes Kalabaw"

I think I got this from a person... maybe in our house... I'm not sure why but the KALABAW thingy reminds me of my site and at least its original when I say that in awkward situations

Favorite Outfit - Newly bought White Boots!

It's expensive, and I like the time when I wore it at our company Christmas Party. I'll be wearing that a lot this 2009.

Favorite Past time - PSP Slim, Photography, CABAL, Blogging

I love the PSP Slim my brother gave me. I am spending so much time with it and the videos and games I put on it is enormous! Aside from that, CABAL is definitely my niche! I love this online game! I did not know I had the talent for photography, I will explore that soon when I get my self a new camera. Blogging obviously has been a blast!

Favorite Snack - Wendy's French Fries and Frostee

I just can't get enough of it, sometimes when I go out and eat, this is already my dinner! ^_^

I'll be eating it this eve.

Favorite Drink - Minute Maid Pulpy Orange

It's so good I can drink a liter of it everyday.

Favorite Brand - BEAR BRAND, Bench

Weeehhh Corny! well as much as I don't like bench, i still get stuff from them for everyday use.

Favorite Footwear - Boots

As I mentioned before, it's the best thing I bought this December!

Favorite Place - In front of the PC... and out gimik with friends!

Because I need to and I want to! I love my friends too!

Along Lantana street, there is nothing more classy than fine dining! the place is a secret...

Yeah I know its kinda old, but it reminds me of highschool... you can't beat that!

Anything she cooks... I EAT!

Because its my personal fave and I never miss an episode!

Because I needed the Planner! HMPF!

Because its near my house!

I just like it...and they're hot!

Because nothing compares to my own cooking!

I just love the stuffed crust... and I can order it in a jiffy!

Favorite Scent - Burberry

Love how it smells! Hummmm!

Favorite Shake - Watermelon Shake

Which I order everytime at any restaurant if they have it!

Favorite Dessert - DQ

Love em slushes!

Favorite Person - My Wifey

Because she will beat me into a pulp if I chose someone else! heheh

Chris Brown tops Billboard Charts for 2008

If it rains it pours... this is just a great year for Chris Brown as he was just named Billboard's Top Artist for the year 2008. This was the same feat he did back in 2006 so it really should not be a surprise. Artist's rankings are determined by album sales in Billboard. This also include mp3 or digital downloads, radio airplay and Live audio streams. No. 3 on the list was Rihanna, his girlfriend that sang hits like "Take A Bow" and "Disturbia," which was co-written by him also. Top five was my personal favorite Taylor Swift. Kumagcow congratulates Chris Brown for a great year, and more record breaking albums next year too! ^_^ It ain't gonna stop there of course!

American Music Awards 2008

I was at AWE when I watched the American Music Awards... the performances were spectacular! I had a great time watching Rihanna, Annie Lennox, Christina Aguilera, Mariah Carey and Beyonce. Beyonce obviously stole the show as she did a spectacular number...

Award winners were all voted by fans in the Magz mentioned there. A lot who won were really expected. Kanye West by the way said that he wanna be like Elvis.... that was controversial I guess.

Here are some of the highlights... but I'll put in Beyonce last since that is the best one okay?! ^_^

Mariah was nice... she won an award for merit I think

Annie Lennox was great! Very Dramatic! I love brit/UK songs... and all her songs! But she didn't have a video off youtube so I'm gonna put in Christina Aguilera here ok?! ^_^

Here is BEYONCE! Watch this! It's awesome!

The STARBUCKS PLANNER 2009 : Whatyathink?!

This is the new planner... Red, Blue and Black. Is it worth it?

The coffee lovers past time; can I seriously complete these stickers for that Planner? O_O

I still have my 2007 Leather bound Planner with Starbucks silver Pen at home, I also have last year's planner that was not that appealing. I was waiting for this one since I was anticipating a better one, well to my surprise I found a small hard bound notebookish thingy on the shelves of the store. They gave me my card which I need to fill up every time I get me cup of coffee from the same store. This ain't right... we were expecting more but it became waaaaay simpler and ordinary. I did not even see if this was tied up to the same charity that was previously advertised. Could the money from this just go to something else we don't know? That's just another story.

To complete this and get that planner I need to consume 16 cups or more of these:

LATEST MEDAL STANDINGS : BEIJING 2008 OLYMPIC GAMES (UPDATED 2:22am Aug 24 PST!!!)

Well, the Philippines won a Gold Medal in Wushu but since it is not a recognized Olympic sport its not going to count in the Medal Standings. Good job though! I am disappointed however because we did not win a single medal that can be counted there.

Kobe part of the success in the win of the US team vs Australia. The US won in the August 20 game and will vie for the Gold medal in the Olympics' Quarterfinals.

Japan bashed the United States' 22-game Olympic winning streak Thursday to win its first gold medal in softball. This wasn't the finale the U.S. had in mind. Japan upset the Americans with a whopping 3-1 to win GOLD in the sport.

Tshomlee Go lost 1-0 to Ryan Carneli of Australia. Go was in the round of 16 of the men’s 58kg category in Olympic Taek Won Do Wednesday at the Beijing Science and Technology University Gymnasium.

Beijing Olympics: USA 'Dream Team' proved too strong for Yao Ming and China

The mighty efforts of the tallest man in the competition proved insufficient against the combined power of Kobe Bryant, Lebron James, Jason Kidd and the rest of the US Dream Team, who prevailed 101-70 in an impressive show of strength and power that ruthlessly ended the pre-game expectations of the hosts.

LATEST MEDAL STANDINGS : BEIJING 2008 OLYMPIC GAMES (UPDATED 3:36am Aug 17 PST!!!)

Phelps won his record 8th gold medal in the Men's 4 x 100m Medley Relay. It was held on Sunday. The US team of Brendan Hansen, Aaron Peirsol, Jason Lezak and Michael Phelps won at the CUBE (National Aquatics Center). They timed in at 3:29.34 which also broke the world record by 1.34 seconds. The US Swimming team lead from the very beginning. Congratulations! ^_^

Michael Phelps wins 7 Gold Medals in Beijing Olympics. Milo Cavic, the Serbian who grew up in Tustin almost stole this dream of a 7th Gold Medal from Phelps landing a Silver Medal in the said event. Cavic almost pulled it off. He'll swim in the 400 medley relay Sunday (Saturday night in Pacific). If he wins, that will give him eight gold medals for Beijing and 14 for his remarkable career.

Cavic by the way is filing a protest because time stands at an Olympic record of 50.58. Cavic was second in 50.59 ^_^ and some even say Cavic won it as shown on TV.
