VICE GANDA Hosts LAST ONE LAUGHING Season 2

Took a whole lot of time to get to Makati last night because we were in another event prior to this, but that's just me LOL. Anyway, the one and only Unkabogable Star Meme Vice Ganda is hosting the second season of LAST ONE LAUGHING. It's the only franchise who got extended in Asia because of the traction it got on the maiden season (imagine that!). This will be shown exclusively on PRIME VIDEO so you would need a subscription to watch it.

Why would you watch it? Well, let's just say the best of the best comedic geniuses of our time, the past and the future will be on this second season. Imagine Veteran old old old school comedian Long Mejia who's the only surviving funny man of his generation (they kid), son of the King of Comedy Dolphy, Epy Quizon who's known for his anti hero roles and dramatic prowess, the smart actress and theater person Candy Pangilinan, vixen Ethel Booba who's quite raw, the funny Manny Pacquiao impersonator Pooh, the champ comedienne Donna Cariaga, the funny podcast and Balitang Ina regular Chariz Solomon, Gen Z representative Esnyr, the practical joker and podcast star James Caraan, and TikTok star Charuth, all in one place, the banters were amazing! The premise of the game is to NOT LAUGH at all, otherwise, you'll never get the 1 Million cash prize that comes with winning the show.

Here's what happened on video last night, please forgive us for the muted parts because they used audio for the event that need to be taken down:

So, do you really need convincing to watch the show? NO. Go subscribe and watch it on your smart TV's, tablets, phones, because PRIME VIDEO really did good with this ensemble. Plus points for Meme Vice Ganda's hosting. Thank you too for the lovely fun stuff we did during the event, posted on IG and FB so follow @kumagcow there too!

Brace for A Different Morning Show: Ethel Booba and K Brosas for LAKWATSIKA

Looks like the morning show time slot is going in for a big surprise as Cignal Entertainment and Red Crane Studios launch this one of a kind program called LAKWATSIKA. This is going to be hosted by funny comediennes and talented singers Ethel Booba and K Brosas.

Just hearing their names tell me this is going to be a heck of an adventure, and that's not just the premise of the show because unlike any other morning shows, this includes traveling, funny antics that happens without scripts and talking to people, just like you and me.

In their first episode, they have traveled to Cauayan in Masbate. With picturesque shorelines, flora and fauna, they found a new destination for local and international tourists... places that are seldom visited and are just waiting to be discovered (of which this is what they're planning to do in the next ones). This is the same reason why they partnered with the Department of Tourism so they can take you to see places, every small city, town, a roadside stop as they promise it will be a little unplanned in each episode.

Not only  that, they'll be tasting the exotic and unique dishes... tell the story of the people they visit which is going to be very exciting to see on television. After a tiring talk and travel, they're also going to undergo several challenges in a day just to make sure they're on top of their toes, plus they'll be giving time to get to know townsfolk, which Ethel and K told us was so touching because they've never felt so welcome til they experienced it first hand in Masbate.

They also have digital hosts Queenay and Marimar Tua who will tell the stories for the digital audience because this will also be shown in TV5 and Cignal's platforms as well.

Here's our video coverage of the presscon, so please, enjoy!

I love how K Brosas commented about their friendship, she didn't sugarcoat anything and told us while they were not that close (while still friends), they're getting to know more about each other now especially because they bond over parenting (Ethel gave birth recently and they talk about kids now). If you're up to it, go watch the show on April 18 at 11am. This will be shown everyday so you've got lots of time to watch it. This will surely be fun!

Ethel Booba Launches CHAROTISM

She's funny, incredibly talented and a LOT to actually devour in a few hours. She's Ethel Booba and consequently called the Queen Of Twitter in the Philippines because of her fantastic antics on the social media channel when the occasion calls for it. Whether it's an election, an earthquake, traffic in Manila, friendships or relationships, she seems to have A LOT to say when it happens. She was actually once bewildered doing it and was afraid nobody was going to listen to her but when she started to try and talk to herself, that's where the fun begins.

She's been egged to do this since 2012 and with a few arrangements done by her editors, it now has materialized into a book. She also was able to talk to us about her relationships, her family, her ex boyfriends, and now a French guy who's she's currently involved with. They met in Qatar if I'm not mistaken after a show and they met again a few months after. It was endearing to see her tell us about it, but what I mostly liked in that conversation was how genuine she was telling us about it. She was like a long lost friend, the most funny one you would miss. Much like what I already anticipated her to be.

Her book is as crazy as she is, so if you don't have it yet, maybe it's time to hoard and get more copies so you can give it as gifts this Christmas. You'll laugh non stop like I did in the last two days while I was finishing to read it.

It's available at all leading bookstores nationwide! Get it at Powerbooks, National Bookstore and everywhere they sell books in the Philippines. I'm sure they have that on the shelf, otherwise, they'd be losers. Not funny at all!

Thank you Ethel for signing my copy! Wish I could spend time with you sometime you're one fun person!
