iStudio Plus Starts Coffee Sessions: More Products In Store!

Just attended the coffee session of iStudio Plus at their 3rd Floor Gateway Mall branch in Quezon City. It's a venue to collaborate, talk amongst tech brands at their space in the mall. For starters, we got to know the folks from Insta360 and Ecoflow power stations (under Enabled). We also talked to the folks from DIVOOM speakers. 

 

EcoFlow is the number one power station brand in the world. They are tech driven and eco friendly made for individuals, family and those who need them. They are present in tech conventions around the world and has impressed award giving bodies for design and tech. Their prime products include the EcoFlow River 3, which is a ups and takes an hour to charge. It's also waterproof and very compact, perfect for travels. They are 30 percent smaller than competitors. They also have River 3 Max Plus which can be stacked, if you need double the capacity then this is perfect for you because it is modular. They also have the bigger EcoFlow DELTA 3 Series, a bit bigger and has bigger output of 1800W. Products cost 35-69K. They have bigger ones for homes that have 4000W. It can also be expanded, best for homes if you want something off the grid. They also have the EcoFlow Trail 300+ to launch in the PH soon (November), which you can use in camping trips. Costs 10-15K.

The best 360 camera in the world is also available in iStudio Plus, the Insta360. It's got all day and all night angles, very good in low light. It has enhanced replaceable lenses, can do 8K videos, 208 minute battery life, waterproof at 15m. The Ace Pro 2 on the other hand has AI capability, better quality videos and can be used for filming. It's more of an action camera than a vlogging one. The battery also lasts 180mins but can be charged fast. Their flagship camera is the Insta360 GO ULTRA. It's got Ultra HD videos for day and night shots, magnetic mounts, longer battery life at 200 minutes, do underwater shots, and fast charging for 12 minutes. It also has AI editing and cloud so you can edit while traveling. Even if you are not a pro it can do the legwork and make it for you. They also have the devices packaged for creators with sticks and mounts for motorcycles too.

Divoom speakers are quite different because it's made with art and pixels in mind. Their newest one is the Times Frame, a digital picture frame that also displays video done through the Divoom app. It also has clocks, widgets, customized edge lights so it can be the star of your show (in the bedroom or elsewhere). They also have retro speakers like the Ditoo 5M which can be displayed with pixel art. It also has Karaoke mode so you can take it out on parties. If you want something cute, the Dipow 65 would fit you, it has an LED screen and can stand like a character, or the DIPOW 35 if you want something smaller that you can attach to a phone or power plug. They also have a Times Gate model which has a larger display, something fancy for rooms or decor. They have the very popular Cyberbag that has displays on the back, I've seen that in motorcyclists. It's super cool! If you want something smaller, they also have the Cyberbag M or the Pixoo Sling Bags that you can pair with your phone app and use for display. The Spark Pro on the other hand can be the Karaoke arsenal to have, it's got superb audio and very portable. If you need something smaller,  they have the Fairy or Spark Pop (which I personally use in the shower to enjoy hours of music!).

Chef Tatung Holds Cooking Event at Gateway 2 Mall's Quantum SkyView

Spent the afternoon at Araneta City as Chef Tatung celebrated his birthday at the Gateway 2 Mall's Quantum SkyView together with fans of his videos and social channels on this day. 

He did a cooking demonstration with one of his avid supporters and taught a few things for the crowd. He says "We learn to cook what is available, make sure it's affordable and strive to become creative in the kitchen. It is okay to do slow cooking but not to the point of using too much gas. We need to also be economical and simpol when in the kitchen."

He was also joined by one of my favorite bakers Chef Jackie Ang Po and raffled off prizes for the dozens who attended the event.

What I liked about the live cooking demo was how attentive the crowd was. They participated well and even answered some of the questions thrown to them by Chef Tatung. They also had the event live streamed on Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube for the rest who couldn't come to the event. This event wasn't possible without the help of Maggi, Masflex, Arla, Premium Choice Meatshop, Tindeli, Palenque, Araneta City and Gateway Mall.

2 Phones, a Watch and Buds Launched at REALME FANFEST 2024

 

 

Gateway Mall 2 was full of people. There were enthusiasts, realme fans, media and executives as they make another installment of REALME FANFEST this 2024.

 

Aside from the various games and activities they prepared for us, they also launched the realme 13 Pro Series, the new realme Watch S2 and the realme Buds T310.

The realme 13 Pro 5G and realme 13 Pro+ is dubbed as "DSLR in your pocket!". A tall order, but they made it possible with the Ultra Clear Camera it has armed with AI. Hardware wise, it's got a Sony LYT 600 OIS lens. They used a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 5G Chipset, 24GB RAM and 512GB Storage to make sure it performs well and doesn't run out of space for photos/videos. Inspired by Monet, they also have it in 3 different colors. Some of which have polished metal, and vegan leather at the back.

The new realme Watch S2 on the other hand has 20 day battery life, hundreds of watch faces, an AI engine and more sports and health measurement for your active lifestyle. It's also dust and water resistant, so if you run outdoors you'll have less worry. The realme Buds T310 looks extra fun now. It has noise cancellation, spatial audio and dynamic bass drivers. I enjoyed the buds predecessor and have it in my bag til now. It performs quite nice, lasts a long time. This one promises over 40 hours of playback, so imagine the songs you could play with it while doing your everyday work. The noise reduction feature comes in 3 tiers too, so if you're in a busy place, things can really be heard better with these new functions made by AI Deep Call Noise Reduction.  

 

Techlife also showcased their best home products, I want that vacuum cleaner now :)

They also managed to do a full on dance contest at the activity center and awarded OBS Fuego Eterno the championship, the crowd loved them every bit. They also held a search for the next face of realme here influencers Diego Aranda and Sammie Amboy won it. They both got 100K cash for that and 50K worth of realme products. (COMPLETE) Winners of the Puregold Cinepanalo Film Festival

A few days ago, the awards night for Puregold Cinepanalo Film Festival happened at the Cinema 5 of Gateway Mall at Araneta City in Quezon City. I've only been able to watch a few short films, 2 full lenght films, but saw how they all deserve the accolades mounting this all.

The competition is tough with the 6 full length films, 25 student short films, I was so excited to be seated with them during that evening... and even asked my seatmates about their bets. They were right!

Congrats VJ Mendoza for doing this song, he mentioned the one who composed it passed. Sad, but worthy to win!

Initially, these were all supposed to be shown at Gateway Cineplex 18 from March 15 to 19, but we got word from Festival Director Chris Cahilig that it will be now until March 26 due to the resounding success of the films and clamor for more cinemas for it. If you haven't watched the entries, go take your friends, your family, and see it til that date. I like "A Lab Story", "Under a Piaya Moon", "Pushcart Tales" and the shorts that were seen in the festival. But you have the power to see whatever you wish in cinemas, go use a whole day for it because it can take a while to finish watching them all.

Congratulations Direk Chris Cahilig, to everyone at Puregold for making this happen. I deem this an excellent platform for unheard actors to shine. I also felt this would be a good place for people to see artistry with the different materials. It's also a time for story tellers to whip out their best work, and the chance to see it on the big screen is priceless. Puregold just did that for you, again, congratulations to the men and women who made this happen!

It was surreal to actually go back to the cinemas and they made it also safe, which was so reassuring and the follow all protocols to a T. The city of firsts is actually going to make your movie watching experience even better til February, see they're launching 2 things if you're fond of dining out and watching a movie, either way, you'll benefit from this... sounds fun right?

ARANETA CITY Giant Christmas Tree Lighting Happening Today!

Tonight is going to be special as Araneta Center is making our Christmas even better with the annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremonies. It's at the Times Square Food Park, still iconic, and they're at their 40th year of doing this. This year, their theme is "Believe in the Magic of Christmas".

Christmas brings magic to our lives, despite the pandemic, they want us to feel like we used to, but in a safe way of course!

The Giant Christmas Tree Lighting event will be today at 5:30PM, and they can accomodate a few people because they have to follow protocols. Appearing in the event is the one and only Piolo Pascual, AC Bonifacio, TNT singers, and Binibining Pilipinas queens. There will also be simultaneous Mall Christmas Tree lighting at Gateway Mall, Ali Mall and Farmers Plaza on November 13, 4PM and it will be livestreamed on the Araneta Center FB page. They will have mall weekend activities, more surprises every Saturday including a Fireworks Display starting November 27. The best spot is at the Times Square Food Park. You can also dine al fresco style including a farmers market weekend and gift wrapping stations in malls. There will be city wide activities, eat a lot and see the new dining options they prepared. Just follow Araneta City Tiktok account and the Araneta City Twitter account that will be doing a TV giveaway too.
