After a really great week for Mika Salamanca, she's not stopping anytime soon as she gets signed with beauty brand LUXE ORGANIX. The event was graced by GMA AVP for Talent Management Mr. Vic Del Rosario, Ms. Anne Puno the AVP for Talent Sales Branding and Marketing, Ms. Joy Marcelo the FVP for Sparkle, Mr. Eugene Yap and Ms. Diane Yap the CEO and President of Luxe Organics.
Mr. Eugene Yap says "It's her authenticity that made us have her as our endorser. We are a brand that remains affordable but effective. She is inspiring and has influence, this is an exciting partnership"
Mica says "I always see them in stores and I personally use their product. I didn't really have to make an effort because I knew, one day, that I would be part of this brand. I am super happy because a lot of brands approached me but this one works for me. I like the cleansing balm, but I'm a fan of the Aloe Vera and Rose Scented products that they have. I need to show them my skin, and that's because of LUXE ORGANIX."
When asked about the things she could suggest for those starting skincare or makeup, she says "Before you even put on something that would cover your skin, you have to make sure it's hydrated. I get little breakouts when I use things that are not in a gel form so Luxe Organix is the perfect solution for me."
She also suggested to use the spray on Sunscreen because we need to always look young. Sun damage certainly isn't a part of that, so she gets points for choosing that among the products that they have.

This isn't the first time we've had the opportunity to meet Mika Salamanca. Luckily we've had the chance to talk with her during post PBB stints, several endorsements, and now for J Spray Fragrances. They're a home grown brand that's involved in beauty, cosmetic and personal care products. She is their first ever endorser which Mika felt so honored about.
Mika says "If a brand trusts me like this, I do get encouraged. This huge brand trusted me to be the face of their product and it's something that reminds me, to always be a good person. It's not just my image that I have to think of, it has to be all the brands that put their trust on me too. I am so flattered when these things happen. Now that I'm more matured, I grow, I make sure that when I say something in social media, it's the truth from me. I make sure I believe in my statements because in the future, when things get magnified, I can stand by it."
She also shares their upcoming projects coming out next year... she says "I've been looking forward to do Hotel88 which will show next year. It will be shot this month as we're going to be in a locked in taping for it. I'll be with the other housemates in the show so I'm so excited to do it because it wouldn't be awkward since we've been together inside the PBB house. I would like to see how our dynamics work now that we'll be together in a series. I've already done the workshops with them, but this is real life so I want to see what will happen. We need to talk, deliver lines and learn from each other."
She also says that when someone compares them with other housemates, she gets flattered because they're both busy and established, she thinks it's a matter on how you see it. She believes that people have their own preference. About her new book "Lipad" she mentions how she's so thankful receiving a lot of good reviews about it. She lifts it all up to God. The one she remembers was in National Children's Hospital where a cancer patient thanked her for giving him a book. When she gave the copy, he told her that he will treasure it and remember her. She told him not to do that but just remember the lessons in the book she gave.

Mika loves the scents because they've got a lot of variants. They've got ones named "Glamour", "Admire" and "Charm", or "I Do", "Be With You", or "Love Fantasy". They also have the pastel themed "Everyday With You", "Uptown Girl" and "Mi Amore", and for the boys "Blue Water", "Aqualic" and "Wave" or the Constellation themed "Prince Charming", "Boy Next Door" (which Mika wanted Papa P to wear) and "Rockstar". She's been very busy lately but still has time for her passion projects. Mika Salamanca recently announced the launch of her children's book called "LIPAD" which is set to debut at the upcoming 2025 edition of the Manila International Book Fair.
Recently, she also released her debut single called "Sino Nga Ba Siya" under Star Music. This book was something that she wanted to do for a long time now and said she wanted it to be a tool to teach values for kids, give confidence, and know that they are loved. She also adds "I know I've been very blessed with the many things I've received after PBB stint. This book really holds a special place in my heart, you've got no idea how much all these mean to me."
For a little background, the book is about a fairy named Mahika. She was born with the littlest wings and felt so different from others. It also tells kids how to love themselves, of what is unique with them, and bring them self confidence too. As of this date, she's got 20 Million social network following and knows she's got a responsibility on presenting what is apt for children.
She adds "There are times when we want to release books, but there's something that we feel the Lord was doing something about the timing. It might not be perceived the same way if we just released one, I dedicated this to people who want to TRY, those who have insecurities. I want to let them know that they are not alone. There are a lot of people who go through the same thing."
This book will be available at PaperKat Books Booth 2-122 at the 2nd Floor of SMX Convention Center from September 10-14 during the Manila International Book Fair. She intends to give this for free to charities and organizations that will benefit from it. Mika is currently working with Jollibee, Acer, MET, Awesam Dental, Dove, e-wallet corp MAYA, Jhaena Jewels, Luxe Organix, Mobile Legends Bang Bang, Taptap, and skin corp Aivee. Be alert though because there's a lot more in the pipeline which she's excited to unveil in the coming months. This includes acting projects, but for the meantime she's undergoing workshops under Ms. Ana Feleo.
Again, make sure to be there during the Manila International Book Fair because she'll be present to sign books and take photos with select folks who will avail of the book!
Having met the ABSCBN artists a couple days ago, I felt it was high time to see the GMA Sparkle Artist Center side of the collab. Yes, it's an opportunity I wouldn't want to pass because you know, PBB has changed the lives of Mika Salamanca, the gorgeous Ashley Ortega, good looking Will Ashley, Dustin Yu, Josh Ford, Michael Sager, Charlie Fleming, AZ Martinez, Vince Maristela and the playful Shuvee Etrata.
Just to give you a picture, there were a lot of trad media and entertainment bloggers covering for this event. Most of them were editors and columnists from your dailies. I guess I was a little hesitant to send questions because it took almost an hour and a half to talk to them because of the sheer number of housemates we had to interview.

Ashley Ortega currently holds the most number of views on my YouTube channel, and I've had the opportunity to interview her a couple of times. She's very eloquent, gorgeous and very talented on ice. She also was able to show a side of her that's not seen on camera. It's why after her short stay in the house, people were all supporting her A LOT. She also got major endorsements because of it and life has been good.
Charlie Fleming has been able to enjoy the success of the show and was able to still have some parts of her life private. Will Ashley has signified his willingness to work with Dustin Yu, which is actually not the first time because they previously were together in a Regal Entertainment movie. He feels the show was also a venue to introduce themselves, and show things that have not been seen on TV. Dustin laments that he's been waiting for the right time as far as his career is concerned. He didn't really expect to join PBB Celebrity Collab Edition, but he was so glad he did! He may be an introvert, but now that people got to know him, he's going to have more opportunities after the show.
Josh Ford is so thankful that his trip back to the Philippines was not in vain. It's been years that he has been in the industry but feels this is his biggest break. He also said that even though some people know him, it was only after PBB that he felt seen. He's so thankful to GMA, Sparkle and PBB for the opportunity! I can't wait to see him grab major roles in shows because he's done his homework.
Vince Maristela on the other hand got recognized while he was in Korea for a little R&R, even if he's been in the industry for a while, it's only now that he gets stopped a LOT while out in public. He now is eager to grab opportunities that would come his way. Everyone was so happy for him!
Shuvee was so fun during this interview. I could see how she is also being fancied by GMA execs while telling her story. As you can see, several shows have already got a hold of her, and joking on social media about her availability. She loves the support and promises to love all the brands and people that supports her. She's not just Shuvee the host now, she's everything and more! Still humble!
Big winner Mika Salamanca knew how much flak she once had because some have already pre-judged her because of previous controversies. She knew that people just didn't know. For Mika it's a big thing to have a platform to let people get to know who she is, change their perspectives and she thanked Sparkle for believing in her. Winning it meant that she can further prove naysayers of how she deserves the spot. She's pretty game about it.
I'd like to send a huge THANK YOU to SPARKLE GMA Artist Center for letting us get to know these housemates after the show. I'm quite sure they're planning a whole lot for them because by any angle, there's nowhere to go but to stardom!
