Orange Magazine PH Forges Juicy Partnership with LAKBAY Magazine

Saturday, September 12, 2026

Two entities, one known for Publishing, Travel, Government and Business while the other delves into Lifestyle, Brands, Entertainment and everything Online. Orange Magazine PH is taking a leap into having their work published in well known LAKBAY Magazine (and vice versa).

Orange Magazine PH and I go way back, not that I've worked there because this site is older. They're currently celebrating their 17th year and wanted publishing to happen. It's tangible, the stories are forever, not seasonal or plain trendy. Here's some of the things we talked about during the signing ceremony at the SAVEA Bay City Manila Hotel in Paranaque City.

There wasn't much convincing involved, just good old recognition that they could benefit from this partnership. Lakbay Magazine has been distributed in various corporate settings, airports, local and international spots. Orange Magazine PH's online presence is huge, always in the hottest events and brand launches, including celebrities that mirrors what's happening in the country. These folks obviously know what they're doing, and with each others expertise they could help each other grow. While these may be a phase, they're quite eager to put their content on print and online, something Jeman Villanueva (who owns Orange Magazine PH) always dreamed of. This is a very promising start, and Lakbay Magazine will take charge on Travel content while Team Orange will concentrate on Lifestyle, like a working marriage.

Honestly, I'm super happy for them. They get to help each other reach more people.

Some of their supporters like Tai Chi (a cool stick and liniment brand) gave folks massages and loot bags with Guyasteen Coffee and Kuchi Kuchi Cooling Powder in them, and SAVEA Bay City (who's pretty new) actually helped them with the event and made things happen. I can't wait to see the actual printed magazine be done in a few moons. They're also testing the waters so if you're keen to support them, this is the right time to actually do it. Message Lakbay Magazine if you want copies as they do give these away for FREE. If you're interested to be part of it, contact them there as well.

I'd like to take this bit to congratulate both LAKBAY Magazine and Orange Magazine PH for the wonderful work they're about to embark on. Thanks for including us on your special day!

Rhodesian Sales Corporation Taps Two Promising Content Creators

Sunday, January 25, 2026

My favorite Rhodesian Sales Corporation products specifically Tai Chi Rubs and VCO Liniments just got their own new brand ambassadors. They're from Team Orange, the folks from Orange Magazine who's been quite visible these past few years under Jeman Villanueva. Kister Morata and Sharmaine Rodriguez have been doing lifestyle events under the same group and they've been working hard creating content for the digital mag.

Rhodesian Sales Corporation have been noticing them, seeing the need for folks from their generation to market their various products including Tai Chi Rub and VCO Liniments, Kuchi Pearl, Foamee, Kuchi Kuchi, Doggies Choice, Moringa Vita, Guyasteen Oilganics, Hailey's Underarm and Foot Powder who's been doing well in online shops, and on TikTok.

They've been doing a lot of content on socials (part of their skill set) and this time, they're going to even do more to bolster Rhodesian's efforts, to further reinforce what they've been currently doing for their various brands.

Present during the contract signing is Kirk Chester Dy the COO and Eric King current Head of Marketing for Rhodesian Sales Corporation, and Orange Magazine's Editor Jeman Villanueva. I'd like to send my congratulations to both brands and their 2 new brand ambassadors for this feat!

15 Years of Orange Love: ORANGE MAGAZINE TV

Sunday, July 06, 2025

Thinking about this event took me a few days because I didn't want to go the emotional route as the event is celebratory. Orange Magazine just had their 15th Anniversary last July 1st 2025. For those who don't know, they're one of the OG's in the digital magazine space and I've had the pleasure of having them as peers in the industry for years now.

While you were probably infants, these folks already made their mark in introducing artists, people, brands, businesses and SME's. This includes those who have no digital footprint back in the day, and has now grown even bigger with his team at Orange Magazine. I've seen some of the risk he took early on and challenges that broke everything because I'd say, the industry was still in its infancy compared to established traditional media companies that got a foothold of the trust of people. Jeman Villanueva wasn't all perfect - and quite loveless at that time 😂 - and he held on to those who have believed in him and his work especially in the different niche he handles, and here we are today!

Stronger and wiser than ever, Orange Magazine TV has been able to weather the rough obstacles that have come their way. Every year, they try to throw a thanksgiving party for the local PH blogging industry, giving back to folks who have stood by them all these years, including the brands and corporations who have believed in them since day 1.

Thank you also to Team Orange's Kister and Janelle who's part of Orange Magazine's success since last year.

Thanks everyone! 🙂
