That Nordic Spirit Flavor City Party was Epic!

I've been partying non-stop and gracing different clubs every weekend for years now. While I'm still in the mood for it, some of my peers are all trying to embrace family life and adulting, which is not a bad idea. I on the other hand have not stopped, and I am so glad about it. It brings me endorphins, and I love it. 

I was invited a little over a week ago to Nordic Spirit's Flavor City party at the POP UP place in Katipunan Avenue. They're a brand of t0bacco free nic0tine pouches that are designed for no fuss, very discreet use. I used to sm0ke occasionally but stopped cold turkey about a decade ago and things like these weren't available in the PH market. It's a Swedish brand and available in different flavors like Fresh Frost, Lush Red, Lush Crimson, and Green Frost. It's used by tucking under the lip, left or right side cheek and could last you around 40mins. They didn't encourage using it but I did, and I think it's a pretty good alternative. They also had several booths and activities to try out, so it was fun to see all that happen.

Anyway, the party was sick because Denise Julia and Sam Concepcion performed on stage. Crowd was quite young but their music was universal. I loved what they dished out including the DJ who was there til the wee hours of the morning. Thanks for the epic party Nordic Spirit!

Dribbling To A World Record with Nadine Lustre and Sam Concepcion

The most number of people dribbling basketballs simultaneously just sounds unachievable, but it is. This July 21, Go for Gold (CSR arm of Powerball Marketing and Logistics Corporation), Scratch It! and their official venue partner Mall of Asia Arena will be doing a Guinness World Records Attempt to do just that at the SM Mall of Asia Concert Grounds in Pasay City Metro Manila. The previous record of 7,556 was done by people from Rafah Gaza Strip Palestine (June 22, 2010) Registration is FREE and you can do it now via goforgoldworldrecordattempt.com.

The presscon was graced by Jay Montelibano, John Roa and Jeremy Go the VP for Marketing of PMLC.

Ayala Malls and BillboardPH Brings You PLAYSOUND

Hey music lovers! It's a nice afternoon isn't i? Well I passed by Trinoma Malls today and look at whay I found at thr Activity Center!

Yes! It's Billboard Philippines and Ayala Malls having an event called BillboardPH PlaySound showcasing their music playground which includes decades upon decades of music courtesy of Billboard, the one and only music authority.

Straight from the archives of the 60's, the sleek 70's, the pop 80's, the bands of the 90's and the lovely iconic singers of the 2000's, they have these represented in booths and let you also hear the sound from that genre with hi tech headphones and video monitors so you could learn a thing or two of music history. It has been evolving, you could see it in every booth and I am in love with what they had in the charts from 80's up until today!

Ayala Malls and Billboard PH also prepared several booths that take 360 degree photos, which they will print out and for you to take home.

It's a whole day of fun and it's not over yet! Come to the activity center and enjoy the little concert they prepared for us as Itchyworms, Sam Concepcion and Gracenote will be performing front and center!

I also saw Christian Bautista, QC Vice Mayor Joy Belmonte and VP of Ayala Malls Ms. Rowena Tomeldan join the opening ceremonies, so if your free come to Trinoma today! Ayala Malls will be doing this too in other malls (like 20-21 in Glorietta and Alabang Town Center) under their corporation so stay tuned!

TV5's Wattpad Presents Now on Viewstream App!

I've been following the numerous titles being shown every week on Wattpad and find it very much like what is written in the books published on the Wattpadd app. The close renditions probably got us all hooked because from what we see, it feels so good tying them up with an actual human being while being shown on TV. Though sometimes, I miss one or more of the episodes because I have events to cover in the evening that coincides with the show's time. It breaks my heart especially the first few this year that got us going like DyepNi which stars Alwyn Uytingco and Jennica Gracia, Mr. Popular Meets Ms. Nobody starring Mark Neumann and Shaira Mae Dela Cruz, the one that's called Almost a Cinderella Story, and My Tag Boyfriend which stars real life lovers Jasmine Curtis-Smith and Sam Concepcion.

We even saw some of them during the TV5 Christmas Party for the press.

Sam Concepcion Endorses Chef's Noodle Philippines

It was a little crowded a few days ago in Chef's Noodle, the first international franchise of a brand from South Korea. I wasn't surprised because it is after all Sam Concepcion that is going to be there. Other celebrities like Grace Lee and couple Lloyd & Shamcey Supsup-Lee also endorsed this restaurant. It's a short 5 minute drive from where I live which is just in Robinsons Magnolia - Aurora Boulevard in Quezon City. They promise to serve the best Korean dishes and make your KPop dreams come true.   

Sam Concepcion embodies the strong, active, energetic characteristics of Korean youth much like the same with Filipinos and he says he stays at joints like these because the food is good and the prices are affordable. They have the usual things on the menu but they also have specials. I'd have to say the truth and tell you that I didn't like the others in the buffet prolly because they were serving a lot of people during the launch and prepared them ahead of time. The food might be better when you order them on a regular day because as I said it was a little too crowded that afternoon that I had to eat outside the restaurant (food court I mean).

They have average quality maki/sushi, but quite good fried rice, jap chae and spicy tofu. I think they've got that spicy tofu nailed because the texture is still nice and I love the kick the sauce entails. If I'm going back I'll probably get to order that again.

A bit of trivia: this was also the place where Sam admitted the incident with Anne Curtis- so it did happen. He also said that he totally understands where she is coming from because he knows Anne was just probably being protective. Sam Concepcion is still going strong with Jasmine Curtis who is his girlfriend. 

Make sure you visit Chef's Noodle if you want to satisfy your Korean dish cravings. They've got more items on the menu that would be really great to try like the Bibimbap, Haemul Seafood Pajun, Leek Shrimp Twigim, Chicken Kas, Spicy Dukbokki and their desserts ice cream/gelato. Their Operations Manager Ms. Nancy Go says they promise to delight you with more signature dishes and new ones, a welcome statement to customers that afternoon.

Bench Universe: The 2012 Denim and Underwear Show - Part 1

Hi guys! How are you? =) Well I know most of you are eagerly awaiting the photos of your idols. Some of you might be models from the show or designers that would want to see what happened in the Bi-Annual Bench Underwear and Denim show. I'll tell you the story... so you guys who were not able to go there would feel like you are also watching BENCH UNIVERSE while in front of your PC's.

We were in situated in the front, center of the mosh pit. I wanted a good vantage point and its a good thing almost everyone would probably be like 2 feet away from where I was in the show. The stage was grand! Those lights on the sides served as curtains and lifted up when the show started. I was in the mosh pit in the front and there was another mosh pit in the center. If that ain't gonna convince you that Bench is going all out with this one, just compare it to other shows and you know what I mean =)

Then a 3 minute countdown started. It was loud, almost deafening beeps and everyone was excited because it was about to start!

Then there was total darkness...

Then graphics of cosmos and stars was projected in the triple layered screen in the stage. After that we were signaled to turn on our glow sticks. Everyone was given one and I had one too! ^_^

Can you just imagine the whole place was glowing like this? :) It was even nice to see some were spinning em!

It's started! :) Everyone applauded seeing this on the screen!

Then this guy came out!

Yeap! That's Mig Ayesa. He's a Pinoy who grew up in Australia, went to London and joined the Rock Star: INXS competition. He placed third and was the crowd favorite. Aside from that, he appears in the local adaptation of Rockstar (the movie that was performed on stage). He's 1/4 Filipino, Ilonggo to be exact! :)

He's got abs, I dont.. =P

Then they came out in full force! I've never seen so many bodies in one putting LOL

As you can see the one who designed this line is indicated on the wall. It's Ezra Santos, another fashion designer from Dubai. He's been featured in shows and magazines the world over!

Furry, reminds me of poodles. But they don't wear things like these :)

When they proceeded to the "back of the stage" I saw someone familiar in the monitor. Is that who I think it is? =)

Sorry it's a little too noisy. Facebook does that to photos :) and I was too far too from the stage so I know you understand. But this is KIM CHIU! Yay!

Ahh now isn't she gorgeous? I know a lot of Kimerald or Kimxi fans would love this! :)

Someone familiar to me is Joseph Marco. I've seen him on TV and a couple of programs in ABSCBN. Being a benchsetter myself, I often see him in Bench events since he's an endorser. #angkapalkono? hehe

I stopped shooting because of her LOL... She's Sophie Sumner of UK vs US ANTM Season where she won. ^_^♥
