A few days ago, we got to celebrate a thanksgiving event with the folks from TIMEZONE Philippines at their Trinoma branch in Quezon City. But it felt a lot different, because aside from the fun we had at the venue and celebrations inside their huge party rooms, it was a time to meet media friends, and experience something so heartwarming with the kids from Save the Children, an organization dedicated to children's rights, which has been in the country for over 40 years. They've been able to help over 1.9 Million children with health programs, their education and livelihood projects for their families. Since it's the holidays, TIMEZONE partnered them up with columnists, editors, bloggers, vloggers that day to have a little fun with that TIMEZONE Trinoma had to offer.
This is the 2nd largest branch in the country that has 150 machines to make sure they've got something to offer folks of all ages. Their General Manager Raffy Prats was there to make sure the media guests were enjoying every bit of it, including the meaningful times we had with the kids from Save the Children.
We were able to access the party room after spending a few hours in the arcade. It was adorned with balloons and party hats, with food for more energy after the program. They also had us earn tickets in some of the games we played at the venue, to exchange with small home appliances, toys, food and more knick knacks to take home. It was also easy to hold a party there because they've got partners like Shakey's, Goldilocks and Jollibee to be sure we were fed to the brim. If you would want to know more, just visit their website timezonegames.com or visit any of their branches to hold your birthdays or parties at Timezone!
You can also get in touch with Save the Children organization through their contact details listed on savethechildren.org.ph. We all had fun, but Timezone made sure our time there was a meaningful one. Thank you TIMEZONE Philippines!

Llaollao Yogurt Shop Opens at Trinoma
Friday, September 22, 2017
I've seen one of their branches at the back of Glorietta just before you go outside Landmark in Makati City. I was pretty much intrigued about what they were selling because most of the time they were covered in people, just like this one today. Apparently they've expanded and set up shop at Trinoma. This was a blogger friend's favorite and I didn't know why he kept on going to this Llaollao shop (pronounced Yao Yao) in Makati even if he was from the south because he says he really likes it. I bought one just for kicks and chose three different toppings. This is a Yogurt shop, but a bit different from the ones I tasted. This one was more tangy, one that would make you grimace a little, like a kick if this was chili. I guess that's why they've been very popular among Filipinos. I like it too.
Now since they've opened this branch in Trinoma, they also held a REALLY GOOD promo. They announced FREE SLUSHIE for every purchase of Php150 on any of their products. People started lining up as early as 5AM this morning, no joke. I wasn't really surprised though, they were so excited to get their hands on yogurt this good.
So I picked up a cup too. I was a little too shy because it was my first time doing this. Swirled my cup slowly, but the guy beside me (who was from Llaollao) was already panicking haha. I forgot to put more space on the sides for the toppings LOL. So I basically have a cup overflowing with Yogurt, and by my standards it wasn't that bad ah! Again, I loved how tangy their yogurt is and that evidently tasted like it.
Then I prepared space for the toppings, by pushing the frozen yogurt on the side to the center. I guess I have about a few centimeters more. So I got real fruits in the mix. I took grapes, mangoes, kiwis and 4 small chocolate coated peanuts (I think) and crushed grahams... which was so good. Ugh I wanted another cup, but had to cut down on sugar these days. If I didn't think about my diet I would have had 5 haha.
I got my perfect cup made, I liked it a LOT. Now, it's time for you to experience it too. Go head on to Trinoma's second floor and look for the kiosk right after the escalator and you'll find them there. Fill up a cup with yogurt, get the toppings and experience it yourselves. See why people have been raving about this cup of good yogurt for years now. This ain't just a brand from Spain, it's something that Filipinos love now. I absolutely did.

TRINOMA Celebrates the Holidays with I GOT STUNG!
Sunday, November 27, 2016
It's a fun afternoon at Trinoma and what a great way to start the holiday cheers but by a concert with the music of STING. An icon in the 80's he's proven how good music can take you anywhere, making him one of the most awarded songwriters and singer of all time. It's entitled "I GOT STUNG" and is composed of two acts, one of which is headed by STEPS DANCE PROJECT the events division of Steps Dance Studio. The company also benefits talented Filipino dancers, make them scholars no matter what economic background they come from. Aside from patrons, we also saw street children in the audience, perhaps the production's way of getting them involved in the arts.
The musical director Mon Faustino and his band provided really good renditions of Sting's awesome music. We were hooked from the first song. With world class ballet and jazz dance performers, it was easy, smooth to note that Filipinos can do this in any stage. They also had guest performers from New York Jamal and Aubrey, teaching us a thing or two how it's done in other parts of the world, it was stunning!
Towards the end of the show, Sam Milby sang a couple of songs, the one with the dancer from New York was Roxanne, super touching. SOS Children's Village and Pushcart Foundation I think will also be getting proceeds from the show. Truly noble deed starting the season of giving no?! Ahh I could see the ladies already swooning to Sam Milby's songs, he even went out and got personally romantic with them!
This is just the start, there are more things to look forward to at Ayala Malls, especially in TriNoMa. You're gonna #LovEmThisChristmas!

Cyma Greek Taverna Outs New Menu on their 10th Anniversary

| Chef Robby Goco the Head Chef of popular Cyma Greek Taverna |
I've been a fan of CYMA ever since I've set my eyes on them in Eastwood Mall. It made me grow appreciation about a dish that I haven't even felt that I had a connection with as I grew only fond of Spanish, American and Filipino. I've been quite adventurous when I became a foodie a few years ago so when I got to dine here, I was so surprised about the real, no fuss food they served on the table. It was like going to another country, something that I welcomed a lot. So when the opportunity to celebrate with them on their 10th year came, I was like "Mama Mia!" excited!
It was my first time to also meet Chef Robby. He explained to us that this celebration was also going to be an introduction to brand new items on their menu that would update, bring forth authentic Greek food designed to delight the Filipino customers. Yeap, same organic and home grown ingredients adjusted to our palate. Some of the freshest food on the table sounds so right to me. Chef Robby defines this as "Progressive Greek".

| The Watercress Salad was done good. It was fresh, I didn't see any wilted pieces, plus I love the chunks of bleu cheese, sweet pears and walnuts as it was covered in a light summer herb vinaigrette. |
I had to make you take a look at that in all angles. This is what they call Kreatika. It's a full meat platter, a surf and turf kind of thing, that's got lamb, pork chops, beef rib, prawns in caper butter, Greek Chimichurri, salad and freshly made pita bread. Oh how the gods and goddesses of Greece connived in making this protein loving dish for me! This just hits the spot!
CYMA Greek Taverna is bringing you more items on the menu together with the well loved items you've already had in the last 10 years. They have so far brought to the table some really good items which you'll find quite simple, cooked simple, but well thought out in terms of flavor. If you're into Greek food, or just simple heart meals, try to visit their branches in Greenbelt 2, Trinoma Mall, Eastwood Mall, Ayala Center - Cebu, Boracay, Robinsons Place - Manila, or Robinsons Magnolia. I just celebrated my Mom's birthday there a few weeks ago and the new dishes are faring out well. I've seen them in other tables.
You get to see Greece in dining tables in Manila. You get the freshest ingredients, it also gets cooked right. CYMA just reeks of good food in the next 10 years. You should get your family to experience it soon. Opa!
