A Dose of Love and Laughter in New Web Series "Ming ♥ Tomas"

People are still looking for that one emotional fix, to get a dose of love and laughter into their homes especially when times are hard. Romcoms have certainly been a hit in the movies, it makes you smile automatically when you think of that one special romantic moment in your life... and this is where Mang Tomas is banking on. They call it Ming ♥ Tomas.

They sought one of the most notable artists to create posters in hopes to combine all the feels that Mang Tomas All Around Sarsa brings, and Justin Besana delivered. They also took actors that give authenticity, and put to life characters that men and women would relate to no matter what age group they belong to.

Ming ♥ Tomas is a story of two people, one's sweet and lovely, the other is macho and hardworking. Though they have different lives, the stars have aligned and brought them hope, a connection that complemented the meal they had in the course of taking their relationship, love into another level they never thought would come true. Picking the right person wasn't really easy, at the end of the day, it wasn't just about putting your best foot forward... and showing a deeper reason to every quirky moment you've experienced and dream of forever.

Food From 121 Grille and Restaurant x Lee Kum Kee

I've been so happy to have been part of the few who have been privileged to have a glimpse of the best dishes that can be done with Lee Kum Kee. It's a well loved brand that has been in the country for years and this time we're doing it in 121 Grille and Restaurant, did it in Upper McKinley Road at McKinley Hill. There's a lot out there and to stand out, they really need to do their homework when it comes to food. With that in mind, they whipped up a few dishes using the Lee Kum Kee Hoisin Sauce and the Lee Kum Kee Char Siu Sauce.

We had appetizers first and this was really good Cheese Sticks from 121 Grille. You MUST order this!

They have fresh fruit juices, ask your friendly waiters for what they have in the restaurant and they can make one for you. I had Ripe Mango Shake for starters.

The Calamari was nice, they've got aioli sauce together with it. Pretty good to match with beer during happy hour. They served this quite fast as it only takes a few minutes to fry.

If you want something more filling, the Lumpiang Shanghai is a good choice. A little oily but it does the job!

They've go really good wings, a little spicy but that kick will make you eat more. Make sure to order rice separately, or perhaps beer would go good with this too!

The Gambas was a hit, a lot of them actually finished the plate after a few minutes.

This is Grilled Liempo, I liked this a lot and it's pretty authentic.

I like the Kilawin too, pretty fresh and make sure you eat this right after they put it on the table. You can have this with beer too!

The Secret Is Out! The Shakey's Pizza 1954!

The secret they've been brewing has been finally revealed a few days ago. It's the ultimate tasty throwback as Shakey's introduces the Pizza 1954 which is now available in all their stores nationwide!  

This coincides with their 60th year and it'll be something that wouldn't be the same pizza every time it goes out of the kitchen because this will be 100% hand made. Now think of hand tossed gourmet dough crust seasoned with fresh rosemary and basil leaves, spiced Italian sausage, Angus beef, red onions, pepperoni slices,  parmesan and 100% mozarella cheese. If that wouldn't satisfy your cravings for a classy gourmet pizza, I don't know what will.

At Php 450, this is really a steal. Aside from that, you can get your favorite group meals pizza traded for the Pizza 1954. That night, I even brought my friends from the Red Tribe to Shakey's in Quezon Avenue. They took care of us like long lost friends. They recommended the Pizza 1954 right off the bat and my friends enjoyed it! Kudos to our server Cath for taking care of us all throughout our stay in Shakey's, she even put our pizzas on plates and served drinks like clockwork. That's great service right there. Thank you Shakey's for bringing us a new pizza flavor, now we'll enjoy this gourmet pizza every time we get to Shakey's near our place. Now if you're craving for it, you should too! Get that Pizza 1954 on your table soon!
