What I Wear When I'm out Clubbing!

Friday, January 16, 2009

I’ve been clubbing since high school and admittedly I’m pretty good at it. I don’t have to tell you how long ago that were so you wouldn’t be chasing and guessing after my age. I still do it these days and I just noticed how the common fashion sense in these parties changed so much in a span of a decade. Not that I’m complaining but it seems to me that it’s getting to be a lot easier.

It wasn’t like before where people conformed to what is said to be stylish and up to date. At this rate, the outfits just got easier to wear. The rule of thumb got into oblivion and the principles was just to wear what’s comfortable. Originality was also there with the fashion police disrupted by HARAJUKU girls in Japan. I on the other hand never got into it that much but I do what I can with what I have in store in my closet. Jazz it up a little and voila! A new ensemble of rave clothing appears… and I like it that much too. Next time I go clubbing at the latest bars in the metro; I know I’m already part of the phenomenon already that are ready to be part of concerts, rave parties, the latest music and the ultra dark society where I belong. If you want to be ahead of the pack then check out the latest here at http://www.beatdropscloset.com and get the best ones money can buy!

Gas Price Rollback Again! Hooray!

More price rollbacks! More FUN! ^_^

Oil giants Shell, PETRON, Chevron, Total and Eastern had their prices rolled back this morning. This new price decrease is a new addition to this month’s expected cheaper prices in Diesel fuel which was just announce over public radio this side of the world.

Eastern Petroleum spearheaded the price decrease which too effect about 6 PM of January 15, 2009 with about 50 cents per liter rollback on all their products. Shell, PETRON and Chevron on the other hand will be doing the same deed come midnight of January 16, 2009 in diesel and kerosene products only. Total will be pushing with their own version tomorrow morning at 6 AM for each liter of Gasoline, Diesel and Kerosene. LPG prices at this hour are still affected by supposed lack of supply or hoarding. This huge controversy was being dealt with even as Energy Czar Angelo Reyes commanded the big corporations to tone down prices on Liquefied Petroleum Gas. I hope everyone’s happy cruising in EDSA!

How about a nice FORD Escape!

I got a friend working for Ford Motors Philippines that kept bugging me and my office mates to buy a car from the shop. The deal wasn’t bad though, but of course Ford Machinery in this side of the world is still hundreds of thousands of pesos more expensive than the other brands. There are particular models though that did not disappoint me and got my approval like the New Ford Escape. With the whole machismo of bare metal in and around the car, I am impressed with its lines and power. That’s all I ever ask for in cars anyway and I’m thinking of changing our van for this one. If the offer gets lower in the coming months then I’d probably be considering this particular model hands down.

If you plan to buy a car in the UK like my brother did in Eire then don’t hesitate to check out prices and details at http://www.buyyourcar.co.uk. They've got the best deals in town! Soon everyone will have that Ford vehicle they wish for.

Steve Jobs goes Bye Bye Apple Inc.!

Steve Jobs just made people's nightmares a reality this week when he announced he's leaving Apple. During the past week he has learned that his health-related issues are more complex than he originally thought. This particular move sent shares plunging in wall street which forced the market to stop the run for their stock selling yesterday morning. This is pretty bad news for Apple investors.

The economic crisis did not help either because most technology shares went down scaring most investors in the worst showing of Apple Incorporated. Steve however braved news stands late afternoon announcing that he will not be just leaving them all behind and will still be part of major decisions of the company. Rumors surrounding Steve Jobs quitting his post contain news of health and major hormonal imbalance scares. He is a giant, a legendary out-of-the-box thinker with amazing taste. I hope one day I get to meet him because its hard to even imagine the company without him announcing their products. They have a lot of people that can do the job though.

The Need to Consider Factoring

Thursday, January 15, 2009

It has been hard these past few months for companies while they weather the US financial crisis. This has stricken not just the United States but the whole world as well. Getting much needed help in times like these is hard and the rates for loans are enormous. There must be something else they can do.

The market has not been that nice to European countries also. It almost put Iceland and Finland in the state of bankruptcy. This has been a pretty tough year for the Eastern European states as well because of the lack of Oil and Natural Gas from Russia. They are now facing a crisis and experiencing the deep cold winter. I hope they get to resolve this soon enough.

While businesses are in the midst of tight situations, they should have grabbed the opportunity in factoring receivables. If they have too much funding designated in their accounts receivables, they will face a huge problem in keeping the ball rolling. Re-financing would take time if they apply for other major loans and it would not be that big either because of their current situation. By going through the option of the factoring business, their company can immediately receive cash for accounts receivable instead of waiting a month or so for customers to pay. Make sure you work with http://www.working-capital.com if you plan to get your business going. It does not make sense to stop growth when you can simply do it with a working capital; and people that resolve the craziest problems in businesses. Do it with http://www.working-capital.com.

AMERICAN IDOL is BACK! ^_^

American Idol Season 8 just started today and as figures came out, it was kind of disappointing to know that only 30.1 Million people watched this show in the US.

HELLO?! 30.1 million?! hahahah...

This is now the most-watched prime-time show of the TV season so far. The format of the show kinda changed because they are now dealing with 4 judges. The Grammy Awards nominated songwriter Kara DioGuardi will take a seat next to Randy Jackson, Simon Cowell, and Paula Abdul. Kara is no push over as far as what she's been doing earlier in the auditions. She will probably play along the breeds of Simon rather than Paula Abdul. She's described as another mean girl in the bunch next to you know who (O_o). I find her okay as far as her judging tastes are concerned but it will be a challenge to see when they have ties in the show. Somebody may have to break that up and it ain't Paula Abdul that's gonna quit the show like what rumors have been circulating. Those are just nasty.

What's most interesting in the auditions earlier was this girl named Katrina Darrell, 20 who auditions for American Idol in Phoenix, Arizona. Look at what she wore:

See what I mean when I said she wore something interesting?~

But that still did not get her to American Idol... with her first class karaoke performance? Simon still did not get her through. But if I were in their place, I'd probably give her a break. Hehehe. Did you get to watch the show earlier? Here you go!

Comments would be nice! ^_^

Manga at its Finest!

Wednesday, January 14, 2009

I have long been a fan of Japanese Animation. Even way back in high school, I remember going to Green hills Shopping Center and buying beta max tapes so I could watch numerous episodes of Dragon Ball Z. From the time GOKU was a kid until everybody else in the cast was around, I never missed a single episode. I watched each saga unfold until the other episodes came out and got watched in free TV today. I was really ahead of everybody even if those which I watched were all in Japanese. I learned a few verses and phrases which made me take even a couple of lessons in the language. It never really left me because I still watch them until now and I enjoy every bit of it.

Today it’s just not about GOKU anymore or his adventures, there are a lot of Japanese anime titles that came out to compete with the best that TOEI Animation has released. I am now a big follower of the NARUTO series. The latest one shown in Japan talks about them finding the hideout of the infamous villain OROCHIMARU and plans to flush him out are on the way. There are several minions of him that have more powerful GENJUTSU’S and are plotting attacks versus the hidden leaf village called KONOHA. The plot thickens as each episode is released; I really am excited to watch more of this together with my other favorites like EYESHIELD21, HUNTER X HUNTER, BLEACH, INU YASHA, and HAJIME NO IPPO.

If you are excited as I am then why don’t you join me in ZENMANGA. This site has been created to let MANGA lovers read their favorites online for free. I for one is starting here at http://www.zenmanga.com/Naruto. If you know what it’s like in zenmanga - read free manga now. See you there!

Singing in Superbowl : Jennifer Hudson

Jennifer Hudson sings at the Superbowl!

I just watched this in CNN a while ago and was ecstatic just like some of you too. With the newest season of American Idol airing here 6PM, people are looking for the one who made headlines a couple of weeks ago. She is Jennifer Hudson, and she will sing in this year's SUPERBOWL.

This is the grandest sports event in the United States and people always look forward for the shows before the actual game. With the disaster that came upon her 57-year-old mother, Darnell Hudson; 29-year-old brother Jason Hudson; and 7-year-old nephew Julian King that were slain in Chicago in October, this is one of the events that she'll be appearing in. She will be singing the National Anthem in the said event while Bruce Springsteen is to sing during halftime of the professional American football championship game. I really am saddened over what happened to her family, if only they could see her now and what she has accomplished I know they too will be proud of her. In this most watched spectacle in US television, I'm sure millions of people would appreciate her outstanding voice. I on the other hand already did. She was even great at her “Dream girls” role which won her a Best Actress award in the Oscars.

Oklahoma Real Estate just got Better

Oklahoma is located in the South Central region of the United States. It is estimated to have about 3.5 Billion residents and a land area of 68,667 square miles. Every time I hear about this state, I remember Billy Gilman's song of the same name. It was one of the few things that made me cry over at MTV.

Oklahoma is the 28th most populous and 20th-largest state. Its name is derived from the words OKLA and HUMMA which means "red people" and is known informally by its name, The Sooner State. It was the 46th state to enter the union and its citizens are known as Oklahomans. The state’s capital and largest city is Oklahoma City.

With small mountain ranges, prairie, and eastern forests, most of Oklahoma lies in the Great Plains which speaks of picturesque places to reside in. It has been subject to many western portraits and landscape paintings because of its natural beauty. I would really love to put up my own farm and live there. The oklahoma city real estate condition is very lucrative and there are houses available for everyone to fit their taste and budget. There are also pre-foreclosure, bank-owned and foreclosure auction properties you can choose from in the Tulsa, Shreveport, Oklahoma, and Louisiana regions. To help you choose the right one in this Democratic driven state, there are a lot of agencies you can go to but the best one still stays to be at http://www.remax-oklahoma.com. Check it out and try to get your dream homes now.

Temps to 40 below zero in US Cold Wave

A man walks beside Capitol Building. I wonder if he saw the cheese too LOLZ!

The US got hit with the coldest of cold waves where the Upper Midwest was affected sending hundreds of cars in traffic jams and a few streets literally frozen. Snowstorms were there closing schools and making most people think twice before going outside coz it may eventually freeze their you know what! Ha-ha!

On Wednesday it swept into New York sending temperatures falling from the 30s a day before to single digits or below zero. Rivers were almost dead frozen in and around the city as they fall into the same. I wonder how it is in tunnels and subways these days. They may be frozen too you know, and it may cause accidents. I heard there were even trucks that toppled thousands of kilograms of cheese on the road. Imagine how many macaroni and cheese lovers are probably worried about this. But really, thinking about that makes me hungry all of a sudden. Let me see if I can grab a sandwich before I get serious with work. ^_^
