Nuffnang and PLDT myDSL Special Screening

Sunday, October 17, 2010

I'm a certified geek if you can say that in layman's terms. I have a lot to say about network engineering theories and administration of public and private networks. I know those gibberish people scratch their head about when the idea of interconnecting LAN to WAN structures come into play. It's easy for me since I've been doing it for almost 7 years. Yeah I am a certified geek and I'm darn proud of it!

It looks like there's something big going on with NUFFIE and I wouldn't be surprised if the four letter PLDT rings a bell. I've been subscribed to them for a couple of years now and what do I know is that I've never got any interruptions that are not beyond their control. I always get customer service and technical support when I need it. I know how hubs, switches, wired and wireless access points work like the back of my hand but it pays to still have someone managing the connection perfectly. If PLDT didn't do it, I don't even know who can. I know horror stories from others but then again that's another story ha-ha!

I love the fact that they have high speed wifi now. They even had that configured so multiple users can connect. How ingenious! I mean everybody's already mobile or wireless these days and if they have to still purchase a separate one for that it'll cost thousands! They however have that bundled up... it comes so affordable too! Imagine if every household has one; wouldn't that be just bliss?! It's a perfect setup for all my wireless gadgets, and a 4 port slot to accommodate more! If that ain't going to convince you I bet you are from MARS!

The Social Network is to Facebook, as PLDT myDSL modem+wifi is to FREEDOM!

Imagine how this world would be without innovators like them! The freedom of getting connected, merged into a gateway of endless possibilities is just at the helm of your fingertips. Go ahead and give PLDT a call and get me hitched to that special screening to Social Network! You have no choice but to get me there! Get it? Got it? Good!

Mom Should Get Me Awnings!

You guys probably know that I'm trying to build a refuge in the south. Part of that plan is to also get some furniture and pieces that I'd enjoy with my family. I wanted something rustic and very natural looking so the wood work is going to be a little hard. I forgot something though aside from the swing I wanted to get for the porch; I should have had awnings attached to the roof since the rain isn't a joke around here. That might just spoil the wood so I need to get one for it. The deal is I don't have that much choice in this side of the world so I'd probably get ones on line. Here we go again with my retail therapy ha-ha!

This is pretty much a necessity so I can take care of the ones I bought. Imagine what it would be like if torrential rain and sun always hit them, that would really spell another shelling out of money if I don't take care of them right? I have to make sure I make my investment work for me and my family because after all I worked for it! I want to still be shaded from harsh rays while sitting on that swing + porch reading my very first novel. I know! I should have been writer somewhere in my life. This is going to be another one of those reality shows put on paper. I've got to find them now... some stores like HILLARYS have them (*hint*) and Mom would be the perfect candidate to donate that to me! That's just about sounds right! I hope Mom agrees!

Daily Moo's 10162010

I like your article... very information to me! hahahah (hongondo ng comment ng blogger na to, panalo!) He cracked me up BIGTIME! Hehehe

Sometimes I want to lose faith in love and all that s*** but I covered another wedding yesterday. I'll tell you a story about that on Monday. About the couple too.

I'm tired and I need a massage. My back hurts and my right foot pinches me every once in a while. I woke up early too thinking I didn't need sleep. At least I know I still can feel pain. I almost thought I was a corpse but this just made me human.

I saw empanadang ilocos at moa when I went out with bloggers last week. They were doing it from scratch which made me doubly excited to eat em. Unfortunately I was more excited to go to work, I almost got late! Whew! Hehe.. Next time I'll really buy that!

My shoe's were a little painful yesterday, I guess I haven't been wearing them formal shoes that much. I wonder where the other ones are, mom kept most of them and slid them on bags. I don't know where she put it! Argh!

People have been moving my stuff around the office. I'm a squatter now LOL. They were planning decent don't get me wrong, but man it's just a pain to ask for things in the office these days... Automating didn't seem to have sped up things as it should. Filing tickets and them closing it at their own without consulting if they resolved it with users is darn wrong. Good thing I can open them up again, imagine jobs if they were all mediocre like this. I'd probably rate them low on CSAT if they keep on doing this.

I need to be optimistic every way I can, I hate losing hope with my self you know! =)

A simple link exchange

I often visit web sites of my peers in the blog industry and read off what they have to say with life in general. I enjoy doing this in my spare time because you get to see what they think behind the keyboard and have a glimpse of what they have in mind at these times. There is a thing called link building that makes this activity extra special if you exchange putting in links on your site with another web master that has related content. If you add url link exchange activities in your daily blog routine then traffic from search engines become way better. Part of the charm of the netiquette these site owners apply is link exchange where you both add each others URL and make it beneficial with one another. It pays to actually cooperate with sites that have the same subject as you are so when your turn comes to be searched in engines all over the Internet; you would end up on the first line and on top. This is essential for businesses and the service industry where they find most of their clientele on the web.

If you are clueless about what SEO or Link Exchange is, I suggest you take a look at very useful sites like http://link-exchange.disastercover.com that has a lot of information on why and how you need simple link exchanges. I have done this in the past and got to where I am now in cyberspace where I have most of my rankings very high. It takes only a few minutes to understand the concept and I hope some of my friends here take time to read the articles there. I specifically would like to suggest you start with the ones on how it can help your site so you kind of get the idea what benefits you will reap at the end of the day. Who else should help us attain our goals but us! We just need the proper information to start how this is done and that is exactly what the site I mentioned has. Let's do this!
