Globe Announces Milestones and Blackpink Promos at Innovation Fest

 

One like in a post, one look in a wishlist, things that make us feel how we care... that's what Globe wants to happen. During the Globe Innovation Fest 2022 this morning held at Globe's Virtual Hangouts, they got BGC, their Cebu and Davao offices connected to celebrate as one in a nationwide celebration.

Globe's Cheif Commercial Officer Issa Guevarra-Cabreira says "Wondeerful is something we hope for everyday and we strive to do that and make it a commitment. It's a simple sentence, but it's what we want for our customers. This year we faced a lot of challenges but we have mobilized Alagang Globe through Globe Rewards and we raised 6.9 Million to feed the hungry. We have new ways to take care of each other."

It's not just about innovating, but getting the needs of the nation and Globe is being ahead of its time. Anne David, Anna Baldos, Moriah Ganzonand Pete Fernandez  from Globe were there to answer questions.

TM Bayan Fiber Wifi was also announced, to give access to education, gaming, entertainment. For 50 pesos, you get unlimited wifi for 3 days. Small business owners can now become TM Bayan so people can access it much easier. You don't have to wait for a G Fiber plan, you can get connected for as quick as 24 hours. Just go online, pay for the plan and you'll get the connection. Fiber to the room technology also gives you uninterrupted wifi connection without lags. Globe also partnered with Google to do digital skills training with certificates on Coursera. Globe and NABU are also working on books in regional languages, they are giving access to it to change lives.

As for Globe, they just got an Opensignal Award for 5G Gaming. They also became a partner for ESGS where 30K people came to participate. Globe also got Globe Prepaid to do hypercasual games through GoGAMES on the Globe One App. Subscribers can get points just by being on the top. You can use these for discounts on your bill, essentials. MetaverseGo's CEO Ash Mandhyan says "Globe is the perfect partner to have as they are innovative. The fact that they can own assets on MetaverseGo platform, there's an opportunity for Filipinos to earn from it."

Globe also presented the relaunched 0917 Lifestyle brand with a whole fashion show, they've got pretty good merch. I like the oversized shirts and sweaters. I like the oversized shirts and sweaters. An Artist with Big Dreams: TERA

Saw TERA a couple months ago during the debut concert (and charity event for frontliners) of successful PPOP Girl Group CALISTA. She sang a few cover songs and original ones which piqued the interest of the press and onlookers during that time. And now, her time has come to be officially launched as a solo artist under the Merlion Music label.

Her passion was and always has been music, and she feels so happy that her whole family has been very supportive of her craft. Other people might call her privileged but she attributes her success not because her family is well off, but of the sheer hard work and dedication she has put in when she sings and write music. Yes, she is also a songwriter which is why during her grand launch, she sang a couple of songs including an original one called "Higher Dose". Her manager Tyronne Escalante has always seen a huge potential with the budding solo artist, and she has shown that during the event.

Tera says "I thank the Lord God for letting this day happen. I've made my music in tears. Finally I was able to present my songs "Fascade", "High Dosage" and "Sagip". Please do wait for these singles to be released on Spotify soon. I always believe that if I could dream it, I could achieve it. My Dad inspired me this work ethic, he really did work hard for his dreams. I knew though last year, it just wasn't the right time. I prepared for this, studied dancing with Douglas Nieras, voice and music. They are always by my side."

She adds "For now I'd like to do more gigs, mall shows, performances so that I'd be able to make a lot of people listen to my music. I want to take it to as many places as possible, I don't want to box myself in doing just an international career, but here first in the Philippines. I understand when people hear about who I am, they have a notion about me being privileged. I have worked hard to be where I am today and I wish they listen to my music first."

She says "I am super glad that JM De Guzman is also here. I am quite familiar about him and his music, and his support through his performance in this grand launch means a lot to me. I don't think I have a crush in showbiz, my parents are not strict but they just tell me if I wear too much skin. The plan is to have a full album, I've been writing songs since I was a teen, and I still have 200 songs in my phone and perhaps I'm choosing the best ones and come out with them soon."

TERA is just starting to discover who she is as an artist, and who knows, in the near future, she's going to have more opportunities as a singer and song writer that could take her where she wants to be. Indeed, she's got a long journey ahead of her and as long as she works hard for it, and still dream big like what she's already doing, she will get there.

KRISPY KREME Opens Blue Ridge Branch in Quezon City + HALLOWEEN Donuts!

Folks at the Katipunan -Eastwood and Blue Ridge areas should be jumping for joy as the good folks from Krispy Kreme just set up a Krispy Kreme Factory Branch at Blue Ridge (along Katipunan Avenue in Quezon City). This means it'll be easier to get those lovely, soft, pillowy donuts that's loved by so many right here in the north.

For those who don't know, a Factory Branch is different from the usual Krispy Kreme kiosk you see in malls and establishments. This means that the store caters to the area, cooking donuts fresh so you get the best ones when you go to a Krispy Kreme branch near you. 

I made these! :) One is a garden, a monster, and a flower bed.

During the event, they also had us make our own Krispy Kreme donuts, and since it was Halloween, the 2 floor space of this store was full to the brim of other bloggers and influencers dressed as their favorite character for the season. Krispy Kreme also arranged several performances from real deal actors and actresses a whole musical filled with our favorite songs from Broadway to Disney.

We also got to talk to the Chief Operating Officer Sonny Tiong from Krispy Kreme Philippines and here's what he said about the new store!

Oh and when you see the HOT LIGHT turn "ON" on this particular branch, you can get a FREE glazed donut on the house (for those who are also buying of course!). The cute Halloween themed donuts will only be there for a limited time so make sure you get them all. They serve coffee, juices and other beverages too, so make the trip down Katipunan Avenue to get them fresh off the factory! Look for the Krispy Kreme bow tie sign, you wouldn't miss it!

Had so much fun a few days ago as the awesome folks at Lazada introduced awesome endorser, Mother and Fashion Icon Anne Curtis Smith.
