Kimpoy Sparks Romance with Three Subway B.M.T Sandwiches

Wednesday, January 18, 2023

Looks like Vlogger Kimpoy Feliciano has his hands full choosing between three B, M and T, played by Natazha Bautista, Breena Ylaya and Queen Semana in a digital ad for popular brand Subway released today. The ladies have their own personas, where one is adventurous, one is a health freak, and also one is practical, so choosing among them alone will be a huge task much like his obsession with three B.M.T sandwiches which he loves from Subway.

He says "Every time I go to Subway, I see a sandwich fit for any occasion, it's quite hard to pick one because I've got a lot of favorites. There's certainly one Subway B.M.T. Sandwich for you!"

Whether you love the B.M.T. Classic, the Double Cheese or the Egg Mayo B.M.T. Plus variant, you get your fill of freshness without going over budget.

As Mr. Joshua Wahiman, the Marketing Manager of Subway Philippines puts it "Love is such a relatable topic especially for Filipinos much like the sandwich options you can get at every Subway branch. Kimpoy has definitely put our message across, we love how he did it on our digital ad."

Kimpoy's Full Confession 💚

Because with Subway®, YOU can have the BIGGEST, MEATIEST, and TASTIEST choices 🥪 of Classic B.M.T.™, B.M.T.™ Plus, and B.M.T.™ Double Cheese. Truly #WorthEat!

The men and women behind it include famed Director Chris Cahilig, Director of Photography Noel Teehankee, Food Stylist Kia del Rosario, Line Producer Jel Plans, and post production Offline Editor Yvette Mijares, Online Editor Kenneth Amparo, Sound Design by Kat Salinas, Color by Sia Magsaysay, and Musical Score by Paulo Almacen. The brand hopes Kimpoy's fans would love the ad as much as they did and bring the same excitement in a nearby Subway branch so they too could love their favorite sandwich today. They give you choices!

That JOLLIBEE Chick'nwich Is Good

Thursday, November 25, 2021

Everybody's talking about it so here we go trying it out today. It's Jollibee's crunchy, juicy, and flavorful Chickn'wich. First of all, the name convention is good so they wouldn't be like the run of the mill chicken sandwich.

The Chick'nwich is basically a huge chicken fillet sandwich that's been breaded, fried to perfection so you get to have a crunchy exterior and juicy meat inside. The meat actually reminded me of the actual Chickenjoy so they probably have processed that the same. The crunchy breading was different though because they probably needed to have that stay crunchy for a longer time.

The dressing was also different, not the same goop that they use for other burgers. Aside from that, the bun is also on a different level. It's softer, shiny on top, thin to just give you enough bread for the thick chicken cut they got you on the sandwich. I think it's brioche and fits the thing perfectly. It's not spicy so I'd be glad to see a version of it soon. I bet they'll be making a different Chick'nwich too because the box for it has "Others" on another check mark. For me, that's good news.

If you're hearing different opinions or reviews about the Jollibee Chick'nwich, it might be a good time to not listen to their stories. Do yourself a favor and get one yourself. I'm pretty satisfied with what I ate for that amount of money. Yes you could say there are better ones out there but are they priced like Jollibee? I don't think so.

Go give yourself a break and get one on selected Jollibee stores in Metro Manila. I think they're rolling it out in other places soon!

Authentic Japanese Sandwiches at 7-Eleven

Sunday, November 07, 2021

I thought I've seen it all, but no. See, looks like 7-Eleven stores are now offering Japanese Sandwiches with their 7-Fresh Fuwa Fuwa line and I'm excited to visit the store near my place. They say it's authentic.

This is now available in Luzon branches (understandable because they wanna serve it fresh). Take for starters the Tamago Sando that costs Php 65, it's very popular in Japan conbini stores (convenience stores) and I've seen people get obsessed about it. This in the shelf? I'm pretty sure it'll be out of stock soon. This one in the country use Fuwa Fuwa brand of Japanese milk-egg bread slices that makes sure every piece is fresh, high in protein and selenium, with 0% trans fat so you won't be getting fat with that.

They also have the Chicken Katsu Sando (Japanese style Chicken Cutlet sandwich) which can be good for snack or lunch, then paired with 7-Eleven's City Cafe Coffee. It's only Php 75. These authentic Japanese Sandwiches are made by 7-Eleven and partner Nippon Premium Bakery Inc. (makers of Fuwa Fuwa) and it'll be available in select 7-Eleven stores today! If you want to know more, go to 7-eleven.com.ph/whats-new today!

The Mc Donald's Cheesy Eggdesal

How can you not have an awesome morning if you have this in your hand? It's Mc Donald's newest sandwich offering called Cheesy Eggdesal. It's got your favorite morning staple scrambled eggs, folded in and layered with a heaping serving of melted cheese sandwiched between soft and toasty pan de sal which we absolutely love!

If you're on the go, want something filling without necessarily breaking the bank, the Cheesy Eggdesal finally solves all your worries away.

It basically completes your office, make you appreciate that life is simple and work shouldn't be too stressful for you who takes life's simple pleasures, and those moments that matter, still stay thankful no matter what we're facing.

Mc Donalds Cheesy Eggdesal is only available from 4:00 AM to 10:30 AM every day. You can have it while you're inside the store, for takeout or delivery so there's no reason to go hungry. I always wake up very late, but it's going to make my mornings a bit exciting now that I have something to look forward to specifically in those hours. At 39 pesos, isn't that a good thing to do tomorrow morning?

J.CO Brings Forth Better J. Coffee

Wednesday, February 18, 2015

It's still the love month but there's no reason to be sad when there's so much to be thankful for. J.CO, the Philippines well loved donut brand (who consequently still has blockbuster lines in their stores as we speak) has brought in J.Coffee, for their line of coffee drinks that have existed in their stores for quite sole time now. This is sort of a relaunch and they're taking time to show us techniques on how to make the perfect cups of coffee and the added latte art. Their using hot milk and froth to make these wonderful designs and it was a treat to have their artistic coffee experts teach us on our tables how to make them from scratch.

They also have in house espresso cups and coffee mugs which you can buy off the shelf available in all J.CO stores nationwide. J. Coffee only serves Arabica beans from regions that can provide Grade A quality beans. We tasted some of it while we were there in the store. Some of which are special brews which we were privileged enough to get on the spot!

Let's not forget the fact that J.CO also has the best, freshly cooked donuts that are not too sweet and perfect for the Filipino palate. I'm taking home boxes of Al Capone because it's my family's favorite too! Now think about your favorite donut flavor and pair it up with a J.Coffee avocado flavored coffee or anything else from their menu, I'm sure your best day will turn out even great when you try their best cup of joes in any of their stores.

I'm loving J. Coffee... You should too! Come over to any of ther J. Co Branches in Metro Manila, have that donut and make that experience better than ever with J. Coffee as well.

Tanduay Rhum Rockfest Year 7

Thursday, November 07, 2013

One epic night deserve some gorgeous photos. I've covered them last year and this year's Tanduay Rhum Rockfest Year 7 was surely awesome! The crowd was rocking, the multitude of bands who performed were well appreciated. Thousands of people flocked the Mall of Asia Concert Grounds taking advantage of the tickets they got from drinking one of the best rhums in the world... TANDUAY!

(c) Mikz Marcelo

How can you not love seeing Parokya ni Edgar, Kamikazee, Rico Blanco, Sponge Cola, Wolfgang, Gloc 9, Color it Red, Ebe Dancel, True Faith, The Youth, Chicosci, Sandwich, Kitchie Nadal, Barbie Almabis, Alamid, Abra, Session Road, General Luna, Frank Magalona, Hilera, The Dawn, Franco, Up Dharma Down, Siakol and 6cyclemind all in one place? You must be out of your mind!

(c) Mikz Marcelo

Barbie Almalbis stayed away from the acoustic set she did on other stints and got back to her stuff with a cloud of electric guitar goodness and played the classic hits we loved.

(c) Mikz Marcelo

He's back and he's even got a Rhum Coke on his hand. He's no other than the great lover boy Chito Miranda who gave the crowd superior performance with Parokya ni Edgar. He didn't hold back on performance level and it was awesome to hear him sing with other artists during the Tanduay Rockfest Year 7. Him + GLOC9 = EPIC!

(c) Mikz Marcelo

Jet Pangan and The Dawn singing SALAMAT above all things brings back memories. He's the best in his class and brings REAL music hands down. No matter what genre, people still appreciate their music because its genuine... salamat for everything. Thank you for getting in touch with the crowd too!

(c) Mikz Marcelo

People don't go crazy as JAY of Kamikazee. Put him on stage plus a couple of gorgeous girls and he'll surely ask for a GROUP HUG. No malice or pun intended. He's the real deal ladies man and he rocked MOA Grounds that night.

(c) Mikz Marcelo

6CycleMind's former frontman Ney Dimaculangan shows us he's still got it. This guy's vocal adrenaline is tops. He's voice is really good and mighty perfect for rockstars. He's the real deal and this was doubly great when he also got on stage with other artists.

What's even better is that even if you missed this concert, they'll be showing it on TV as Tanduay Rhum Rockfest VII premiers via Sunday Night Box Office on GMA-7 November 10, 2013. It shows around 10PM-12AM so make sure you don't touch that remote if you wish to have this rockfest in your homes!

Plus there'll be MORE provincial tours like the Tanduay First Five in LUCENA City which happens on November 15 at the Alcala Sports Complex. To get tickets, just purchase Tanduay 5 years or Tanduay Light 750 ML and go to Leoning Store - Tagarao Street, Brgy. "Never Odd or Even" Opens April 11 at The Pocket Universe Gallery

Monday, April 09, 2012

Photography is an ARTFORM and it really has transcended leaps and bounds from using just simple mediums as a Camera and film. I have attended an IPHONEOGRAPHY Workshop a couple of weeks back and met this wonderful artist named Sancho. PluralPunk's a musician/record producer who's worked with the likes of Sugarfree, Imago, Sandwich and Loquy. He's collaborated with some of the noted artists music industry and he's got some of his artwork to be displayed at The Pocket Universe Gallery at San Antonio Village, Makati.  It's gonna be on Wednesday April 11 at 8PM and will run until May 12, 2012.

The exhibit is entitled "Never Odd or Even" and the medium in this case is pretty unconventional.

DOGMA, I AM GOD
DOGMA - I AM A GOD by PluralPunk

DR AWKWARD
DR. AWKWARD by PluralPunk

These are just samples of what he could do in iPHONEOGRAPHY. Yes you heard that right, the medium he used for these two pieces is the IPHONE 4S with some minor editing done straight from the phone. Just imagine how he was able to mix and capture modern art, architectural figures and movement in these photos. Truly mind blowing if you ask me. So make sure you try and visit this one of a kind exhibit. That's Never Odd or Even, Symmetric Faux-tography by PluralPunk at The Pocket Universe Gallery from April 11 to May 12, 2012.

Opening Night will be on April 11, that's this Wednesday at 8pm. Guest performances by popular bands Loquy, Sandwich, Sundownmuse, Malay and The Joshua. There will also be some tribute performances by "Four-a U2" band with Philippine Rock legends Jett Pangan, Raymund Marasigan, Buddy Zabala and the main man himself Sancho.

For particulars please visit The Pocket Universe Gallery at the 2nd Floor of saGuijo Café + Bar, 7612 Guijo St., San Antonio Village, Makati City.
