KC Concepcion and Erwan Heussaff for the ASUS ZenBook 13 OLED and ASUS ZenBook Duo 14

Two Zenbooks got launched a few days ago from our friends over at ASUS. It was nice to see people actually using it for the right reasons, first was Erwan Heussaff who did so many things with the ASUS ZenBook Duo 14 and the other was gorgeous KC Concepcion for the ASUS ZenBook 13 OLED.

Erwan is a content creator, restaurateur and an entrepreneur. His day consists of so many things to work on and if he's going to have a buddy to be with him to finish things, the ASUS ZenBook Duo 14 was a good companion. It's got an 11th Gen Intel Core Processor, an NVIDIA MX450 and an Intel Iris X GPU, all of which accommodated his multi tasking lifestyle. LOVE and the ASUS ZenBook 13 Burgundy Red UX333FN

Cluttered space in the photo but so much to celebrate about the ASUS ZenBook 13 Burgundy Red. 

You see, last Valentine's Day, ASUS Philippines held a campaign called #FallInLoveWithZenBook for all their social media followers. It wasn't a small one prize wise because what was at stake was a brand new spanking laptop computer of the mentioned model above. The gist is if you were to give this midrange priced marvel to someone special, who would it be and why would you give it to that person? What particular moment made it special? 

Of course there were thousands who joined the campaign - but one that caught their eye was a guy who wanted this for his girlfriend. Pocholo met her in the workplace, it wasn't easy but he knew she was going to be worth it. He mustered enough courage to court her, became an item - and made her feel special. Vacation’s Over

Been traveling a lot these past few weeks because my Mom is turning 75. It’s a good feeling that she gets around with us kids and enjoy seeing sights, eating lots of food and be at the spots she wished to be at this age. I obliged and it was a good time to connect with my family, it’s been a while since we have been together.

Singapore Airlines had super comfy seats, more legroom and good food on board. Thanks to the sale tickets I got during their sale in Glorietta a few weeks ago!

I had work, tons of it and if you were in my shoes, you would say I am crazy to have time for that after spending hours under the sun, going from spot to spot, trying to spend every tourist penny by doing DIY tours myself and hoping she’d enjoy every bit of it. On the side I had the ASUS ZenBook 13 UX333 with me so I can write a few articles and edit photos when I get back to the hotel. What I like about this machine is that it lasts a long time even if I don’t plug it in for a few days (thanks to the 50WHr 3-cell Li-ion battery). I only do work at night time and pulling it in and out of my bag in between tourist spots felt like I was carrying a tablet rather than a monstrous laptop computer that it is. It boots up in seconds because of the 256GB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD, no more spinning parts means less heat and faster access of course. This is just a dream or so I thought.

This week was awesome, not because I was just in a vacation but I got to spend much needed bonding time with my Mom in Singapore. I'm a travelling man, straight from the can. ASUS ZenBook 13 UX333 Burgundy Red

This has got an 8th Gen i5 chip (for the 13 inch) but has an 8th Gen i7 chip for the 14 and 15 inch ones and a 8 GB of RAM. It has almost the same hardware as recent previously released ZenBooks but just differs in the paint job. Metallic and concentric in the front and standard finishing underneath, it looks expensive when I took it out for a spin. At 0.55 inches and about 1.2 kg, I bet you can carry it around with ease even with just the laptop sleeve. The keyboard also has backlights perfect for those dark nights you often slave away typing for deadlines. The HDMI ports, USB A and USB Type C 3.1 ports, transfer of data from devices would be a cinch. Now if you're fond of spreadsheets, you need a viable solution to typing numbers right? Well the new ZenBooks has number pads on the actual track pad which lights up like magic when long pressed for a second. The thing also lasts a long time detached from its power cable, you could carry it around and it'll feel like a tablet at times, but you're really getting the whole deal.
