UNIQLO Turns 9 in the Philippines

Tuesday, May 25, 2021

Time flies and yes, UNIQLO Philippines has been in the country for 9 years now. For starters, our clothing and style has definitely changed brought about the brand's offerings, I can even tell you own one or more pieces from them right? Now, they've got 65 stores and you know you love every piece when you wear them. Heck I even got my UT shirts, classic short sleeve shirts, shorts, jackets all from the same place even if I planned to just browse and window shop before I entered LOL.

Well here's the thing, they're bringing out more new styles like the U Crew Neck Short Sleeve T-Shirts, Dry Color Crew Neck and V Neck Short Sleeve T-Shirts, the Stretch Slim Fit Shorts, the women's Ultra Stretch Cropped Leggings Pants, U AIRism Cotton A Line Short Sleeve Long Dress. Shirt prices range from Php 245 - Php 590, while the shorts, leggings and dress cost Php 790 - Php 990. If you purchase clothing on May 28-30, they're feeling generous so they're giving away the coveted Airism Mask for FREE. You need to scan your app in store to get it though so make sure you download the app for it.

Other than that, there's a stamp collecting promo on the UNIQLO Flagship store at Glorietta 5. You can get passes for Anytime Fitness, Bo's Coffee or a Fully Booked discount card. If you complete the needed stamps, you'll get an exclusive Manila Tote Bag as well. You can bet on your horses and head on the flagship store if you want to avail this sweet deal. You can check the details on the official uniqlo.com/ph website or their social channels as claiming dates are different.

So, are you in the mood to shop? You bet yah!

Philippine Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2015: Kashieca Forges Anew Your "Little Black Dress"

Thursday, October 30, 2014

When Suyen Corporation (people behind bench too) holds a show, it'll surely be talked about for seasons. This is my first bite of Philippine Fashion Week (this Spring Summer 2015 season) because I missed Forever21 last Friday. Anyway, this is going to be fun because I liked what I saw the moment I entered Hall 4 of SMX. This is Kashieca's "Little Black Dress" homage to probably countless ladies who have it in their closet. They want you to be a little more adventurous, fix your dress up in many ways and enjoy it. I might have to break this post up and get HUMAN for another article because I think it's that special. Let's get right into the show shall we?

The stage was simple, they had white fabric running from top to bottom. They had the models stand behind these and come out in a group first. Then they take on the ramp one by one.

They had striped skirts and tops. They didn't delve into the full "Little Black Dress" theme yet that time but of course I think this is what they had in mind, a direction.

I also saw one of my favorite models on the runway Nikita McElroy. I would love to do a portrait of her someday. I've seen her like my instagram posts and I hope I get to do that soon. It's in my bucketlist as a fashion photographer. Do you see the little black dress somehow in the mix? It's going on top, and sometimes on the bottom, the full dress isn't showing yet but I think that's exactly how the designers ultimately want you to understand how the little black dress can be worn in many ways!

TOPMAN Opens in SM Megamall Fashion Hall

Wednesday, June 04, 2014

One of the most reputable brands carrying clothing fit for the most stylish men in the Philippines is TOPMAN. They just opened shop at the 3rd Floor of SM Megamall's Fashion Hall last May 28th and it was a glorious day for fans of the brand. I adored their jackets, shoes, shirts and pants which I'll show you in a bit. In the meantime, let me take you around their store which had a more signature Californian vibe to it.

You have that beachy summery feel. Not to mention the faded layered jeans, graphic shirts, colored pants and colorful shorts reminiscent of that area. The store still has the spring summer collection so if you want your wardrobe to still weather the elements, you're lucky! They also just came out with these colder blue, black and gray palette shirts on the bottom right which probably is part of their Fall/Winter collection. I like the long sleeved shirts up top especially the gray one with prints. That's considered sold of course! :) I already have it in my closet.

Aside from that, the coats, denim and skinny jeans are absolutely nice and rancid. For those who have nice bodies but want to show them off, the wifebeaters and sleeveless shirts would be perfect for you. They even got some of it on 800 for 2 deals and 10 percent off on opening day. There might be some more still on sale but I strongly suggest you check it out in Megamall while its early. Oh before I forget, they've got 15% off for students for the whole month of June. You just have to

Sharon Ugot, the Group Brand Manager of Topman Philippines also says “As a fashion leader, continuous growth is very essential and we are thrilled with the opening of our newest store in SM Mega Fashion Hall. Being the fashion authority, Topman always delivers cutting edge and fashion forward pieces, which our customers are looking for.

So I did the next best thing after hearing that and checked out the shelves for some of my favorites. You might want to purchase these too.

OXYGEN™: Shocks Us With Colors This Season!

Thursday, May 31, 2012

I have always lauded OXYGEN for staying on their palette which mostly comprise black, white, gray and blue hues. The blue in fact is the only non shady color I've seen of them through the years. The generation they are dressing up however never went out of the box because this thing they have is a whole other lifestyle. It pays homage to a non conventional line of clothes which OXYGEN is known for. They just turned heads this season because they've pretty much changed their outlook. We were surprised that this time, OXYGEN is about to change the way you look at their clothes. Fresh, Young and Vibrant... OXYGEN now has COLOR!

For starters, there's Terracotta. Peach. Some shades of it.

Now there are hints of gold, then mustard yellow.

Styles don't actually suffer because they've got some of it on current ones that can be used on casual days of even mix and matched with office attire. You can also jazz it up and make things shorter for something that you can wear going out in the evening... for a date or dinner with friends.

This was the color palette we saw a few years ago (this part), can you see how it suddenly pops up bright ones like red, red-orange then pairs it up with their basics like blue and black? Pretty amazing!

I don't know what made them decide to suddenly have this on their collection but if this is the case, they are now gonna battle it out with other brands in the market. They stretched their wings and made sure they show the spunk OXYGEN is known for.

Cool and refreshing on the eyes, this must be taboo if you are an OXYGEN purist but what matters here is that you stretch your wardrobe's look and feel. OXYGEN is pushing their limits and I must say their execution is something to envy. Surely, this will fare good in the market if their selling point is STYLE. The color palette is changing but it would always be one thing in particular that you should look for in your outfit this coming season, OXYGEN CLOTHING has gone a long way in making sure you've got your look updated. Do the best thing and wear it with pride the next time you go out in town. Then thank them for it later on. Capisce?!

Congratulations on your collection this holiday 2012!
