CROCS Opens Store at B7 Bonifacio High Street

Wednesday, March 16, 2022

The good looking guy just arrived at the new BGC branch of CROCS, our well loved footwear brand. It's been a while since we've covered an event physically and chances are, we're going to splurge a little bit since it's a great day to start summer festivities in Manila. Their call, is for you to tell your SUMMER STORY and this particular branch has all your unique Crocs Clogs in different colors and styles. The store is also huge you can roam around without bumping into anyone and the center is dedicated to a little treat we call JIBBITZ. They are charms you attach on the holes of your Crocs pairs and I loved every bit of it. I got myself a winter camo (Marble Clogs) colored pair and started picking 90's iconic symbols so I could personalize it.

They encourage this so as to make each pair unique and I love them about that. Loads of celebrities have also gone to the store including Crocs Ambassador AC Bonifacio, Patrick Quiroz, models and influencers from the metro. There are also installations outside the store where you can take photos of you, your friends or family. They are extra colorful too so if you're in the look for a pair, it's time to do it here!

Here's a little tour I made on the new store, enjoy!

Go catch a pair and see why people are loving their CROCS while telling their Summer Story!

You can get a Php100 discount on your next footwear purchase (regularly priced of course!) or get a free fancy Jibbitz which makes Crocs even better if you're into that kind of fun and design. Merrell Holiday Rush Sale on Shopee Takes up to 70% OFF on Ladies’ Shoes & Sandals

Wednesday, November 18, 2020

Having a Merrell would always be synonymous with love for outdoors. I think I got a pair a couple years ago but it got lost somewhere, but what I felt when I had it was how tough it was even on tough terrain. Imagine how sharp rocks are while hiking, spelunking, climbing, and all that stuff you do outside. It provided protection, comfort, even in those rugged situations and I’m glad to have seen it work quite well despite that.

This time however, they’re treating the ladies in Shopee as they bring several of their best selling shoes via their Merrell Holiday Rush Sale which can get them up to 70% OFF its regular price, something women would love so they can take these shoes places. I know, it is kinda crazy how they just give these high performance shoes away like that, you get premium and tough pairs for a fraction of a cost. I mean, that clearly doesn’t come everyday so if you’re looking for shoes these days, Merrell has good offers. To make it even easier for you, let's check out these items!

The Around Town Lace Knit is light and airy, which means you get to walk for miles without making your footwear a burden. Design has mesh on top front and sides so chances are, it won’t get smelly in different conditions. The Linna Strap AC+ on the other hand is one tough sandal. Pretty light too because of its material. Same with the Around Town Sunvue Post which has even better straps which are more on the formal side, you can take it out on casual walks without worrying it wouldn’t be presentable on normal days. Quality and nice designs have always been a Merrell trademark, are there other reasons not to own one?

You better download the Shopee app now on Google Play or the App Store because there’s a lot of discounts from Merrell coming. Aside from that, Shopee also gives out free shipping and additional discount vouchers. All you have to do is pay for it, and wait at the comforts of your home.

Make Your Own Havaianas 2014

Thursday, May 08, 2014

When I posted this photo on Instagram I immediately said that "I'll have what she's having!" because as you see she's doing the salsa like nobody's there! It was festive, it was like mardi gras in Manila right smack in the middle of Glorietta. Well I couldn't blame them because it is after all the start of Make Your Own Havaianas 2014. It will be open to the public from May 8 - 11 at the Glorietta Activity center in Makati City. I partied big time that evening with personalities and celebrities, some of whom you might actually recognize I'm sure.

From Salsa numbers, to Phil and James Younghusband, to Basti Artadi and Elmo Magalona and his siblings, it was an awesome day of making our own Havaianas. We felt that we were in the streets of Rio crumping and jumping to the tunes like nobody's watching. When I got the chance to do mine, a very friendly guy Adrian rushed to the counter and grabbed my Havaianas passport. The passport basically contains a checklist of items which you can just tick. From the actual rubber sole to the strap and the pins you would want to have, it's all there! He went to the back and got what I chose then started to assemble my Havaianas. :)

Geeky version of Adrian holding my Havaianas Passport. This is our trip to Rio de Janeiro in Brazil!

They had two tools that they heavily use. One was the small pole which they use to put the straps in. The other one was a crimper so you could choose and put in pins on the strap. It was really fast and I didn't really have to wait that long since there were stars behind me hahaha!

It's beginning to look like a pair of slippers now and they're putting in the cute pins. :)

Now I have MY OWN HAVAIANAS! :) It's as cute as me and the guy who made it with me agree!? Now go to Glorietta's Activity Center and Make Your Own Havaianas today til the 11th! :)

If You Were In My Rubber Shoes

Wednesday, October 06, 2010

I am trying my best to go to the gym every day. I have work on weekdays but once I go out of the office I can go there because it is literally just beside it. I am also trying to do fun runs on weekends at Fort but I haven't prepared for anything like that. Initially I just did it for maintaining a healthy lifestyle but these days it probably is a necessity to shock myself with different workout regimens as advised by my physical trainer. I don't hold back on the food intake since I am stressed but I need to try running now to compensate for it. I already have the basic gear and one thing that I think I should replace is my running shoes. I've got a lot of shoes but I never invested on these ones for athletic activities. I need to buy a decent pair soon because my old one looks worn out.

I am currently trying to replicate everything on treadmill and it seems that I can do 5 or 10 kilometers on an easy day. I wouldn't be gunning for a marathon since that would take time to prepare but this particular distance seems achievable. I would probably have an easier run if I do it on real pavement but right now I'd settle for the air conditioned confines of the gym. If I win one of those running events I'll let you know. As for now my quest for another pair of shoes is on. I already have 30+ (for different occasions) but I wouldn't mind another one!
