The realme 14 Pro + 5G Takes Serious Photos, Water Test Approved

Aside from the fact that this is endorsed by the lovely Kathryn Bernardo, there's actually a lot more to the new realme 14 Pro+ 5G. I was able to experience handling this phone for a few weeks, and by far, it's a promising one that's quite serious with photos. 

 I'm saying this from experience, they took us to a far flung resort in Rizal to take a real world test of what the phone can do. Needless to say, I got really good photos... but honestly, I wasn't surprised because I saw the brand they used for the triple cameras, all SONY. I've been a photographer for years now, and I've seen a lot of folks in the industry who's handled pro cameras with lenses from the same corp. Images come out sharp with true colors, so I'm expecting the same with this smartphone. Although I artistically want a more saturated output, photos from it are good without edits. It's something folks would wish on their phones, and they're pretty good at it overall, as a brand. I also carry a realme 12 which I personally use for videos, and swear by its capability to shoot on HD. This realme 14 Pro + 5G definitely shows improvement over that, anyone would love improvements right?

The realme 14 Pro + 5G also has something that wasn't being done in the previous phones, the capability to withstand water splashes, we tested that out too. Check out this unboxing video and water test we did with it.

The thing is, the marble looking version of this handset (Pearl White) has the capability to change colors according to temperature. Sure enough, when we poured cold water from a borrowed phone of that variant, it showed blue veins all over the back. The Black Suede version that I had is more muted, something that I'd want if I didn't want to stand out too much. I like that they gave us options. 

 

This phone also has a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor. This makes it capable of doing even more CPU and GPU work plus AI. AI is quite useful these days both for editing photos and automation purpose. If you're also a gamer and want other work done on your phone, this makes it possible to do that. Overall, you'll love this handset if you're a casual gamer or use it mostly for social meda, a little work and daily abuse. If you are a little adventurous, the phone can withstand usual wear and tear, plus water as indicated by standards. It also carries a huge battery, 6000mAh, it can last a day and a few more hours plus charge fast with the proprietary SUPERVOOC charge that realme carries.

They have promos going on for this model on TikTok and Shopee, so if you're planning to get this phone, you better act fast (as it only is limited and subject to availability, some realme Watch S2 I heard). See a More Daring KATHRYN BERNARDO and Vulnerable ALDEN RICHARDS in HELLO LOVE AGAIN

After years of missing these two on screen, we finally have HELLO LOVE GOODBYE's sequel, HELLO LOVE AGAIN. 

Ethan and Joy's story continues in Canada. This film discusses about their love story continuing in a different place, and circumstances after the COVID-19 outbreak which has affected us all. This time, after all those things that happened in Hong Kong, Joy and Ethan went through the reality of long distance relationships, and suddenly become strangers.

Their story is much like a lot of OFW's out ther, trying to find new life in an unfamiliar place, and Direk Cathy Garcia Sampana easily intertwines their love story in it, to later find the need to fix themselves and their lives. 

The story also discusses how they became so insanely hurt in the process, and prioritize how to look for a better life for them, and their respective families. 

The movie definitely needs to be seen because the story becomes extra interesting compared to the first blockbuster movie. Aside from that, this second installment is full of things that you can learn about with family relationships, love, the trials, and those that go through the life of someone who chose to work abroad so their families back home can live comfortably.

The movie will also give you a bit of a shock because Alden and Kathryn gave a different life to Ethan and Joy. Their characters became bold, tough, and matured over those 5 years. Their performance elicited tears from the audience, including guys who wouldn't admit what they did inside the dark theater. One should note of Joross Gamboa's quirky dialogues which made the dramatic scenes a bit funny than usual because his role as the common friend had the apt punchlines needed to keep it light and realistic.

You'll also get to see what the real TRUTH brings, if it hurts, or if it becomes the source of their bliss. Ethan and Joy needs to decide about their fate, is this the end? Or will this be the start of a new life? Or will this be the start of their FOREVER?!

I'd like to take this bit to thank the folks from realme (Kathryn's current phone is the one I'm using, the realme 13 pro). They brought us to the cinemas to watch the film, but they suddenly brought out the two lead actors to surprise us at the cinema! Check this out!

This is Alden's best so far and Kathryn's most feisty role. The changes alone should automatically be a reason to watch this movie. The story and direction comes a close second, because if the first one made waves here and abroad, this should catapult them to elsewhere after seeing their performance. 

The pairing is relatively young, but they definitely gave more of themselves in this movie, head on to theaters and make this an even bigger hit than the first one!

"Hello Love Again" Star ALDEN RICHARDS for THE HUNGRY PITA

Ventured a bit north in the province of Bulacan for a momentous occasion of homegrown brand The Hungry Pita. They started with a corner kiosk in 2012 called Khaddison's Shawarma (named after their son) which they set up in the historic town of Malolos; prepping, testing, and creating recipes using the freshest ingredients, perfecting the recipe later on and started franchising branches across the country. They believe it's the perfect time to get their first endorser, and consequently the 117th Franchisee for The Hungry Pita... you guessed it right, it's ALDEN RICHARDS.

Asia's Multimedia Star is one of the most trusted endorsers in the country but he attributes his personal success to the good people around him who never took advantage, ones that he trusts because you need that in the food industry.

The owners (husband and wife team) were very young newly weds and wanted to earn a living for their family. They started from scratch, and rebranded in 2018, then started having demands for franchising. They started doing that a year after, this was after they carefully studied how to do it. Needless to say, it was successful because sales suddenly went tenfold. Later on, they introduced new products, making sure everything that comes out of their kitchen is made fresh, hot and delicious til now.
 
Alden adds "What I really love about the product is that it's really authentic. It's very affordable, and can be reached quite easily. The Hungry Pita never had a brand ambassador before, and it's one of the reasons why Alden said YES to this endorsement. He wants to discover, and help each other grow. Alden noticed how good the owners were not just to guests, but also their staff and people they worked with. He also mentioned that reaching 117 branches is not an easy feat, and wouldn't happen if they're doing something wrong. They also hire people based on character which is one of the reasons they flourished. It's the same reason why they got Alden Richards as brand ambassador.

URATEX Breaks Guinness World Record on their 55th Anniversary!

Well loved local and international sleep brand Uratex just a Guinness World Record for the longest and largest Human Mattress Domino. This feat has been initially set by folks from Brazil way back 2019 wherein 2,019 individuals did it. Uratex is celebrating their 55th Anniversary and what better way to do that but by breaking a world record, and so it begins at the SMX Convention Center.

This was attempted and verified on October 22, 2023. The Uratex Philippines President and CEO Ms. Naty Cheng was there together with over 2,355 people holding up the same number of Single Mattresses measuring 36 x 75 inches each to form the longest human mattress dominoes. Guinness World Record representative Mai McMillan from Japan assessed the feat if they get to break the record in 20 minutes and so they did.

They also did a huge surprise for attendees when they brought out the "A Very Good Girl" star Kathryn Bernardo. We all love her, and being here surely gave world record breakers extra encouragement to do the feat, and the confirmation says it all.

The Guinness World Record attempt was dedicated to the 4,000 Uratex employees and volunteers who helped pave the way to do this. They got the certificate right after and it was accepted by DJ Bigboy Cheng. The mattresses will not go to wasted as they will all be donated to over 55 local charities especially those who are in need of beds to house the homeless, seniors, the differently abled and kids which is a worthy cause to support for their 55th anniversary. Congratulations to everyone who made this attempt a successful one and helped put mattresses on beds, but also brought pride and honor to the Philippines as we hold this record for the world to see.

realme just launched the new realme 11 Pro 5G Series with the one and only Queen Kathryn Bernardo. This includes the realme 11 Pro+ 5G and the realme 11 Pro 5G.

Kathryn's been very busy these couple of months as she's doing a film called "A Very Good Girl" with famed actress Dolly De Leon. Shooting was tough but Kath was thankful she got to spend the days after with the realme family just to launch these special phones in the Philippines.

If you haven't seen it, the realme 11 Pro+ 5G has a 200MP OIS SuperZoom Camera and a 120Hz Curved OLED Display. KATHRYN BERNARDO and 1,308 Gets Guinness World Record at Gatorade No Sugar Sweat Fest!

Our girl Kathryn Bernardo was part of the pack who led festivities at the Gatorade No Sugar Sweat Fest last May 6th. Imagine, 1,308 people clocking in the official Guinness World Record for the largest aerobic weight training class in the world! The previous one was only 978, and imagine, the Queen Kathryn Bernardo on stage participating in it as well, that alone is worth it!

For those who don't know, Gatorade gets the body fueled and energized, and now that it's got no sugar and calories, it'll be the best buddy to have when working out or performing at your peak. This comes in Citrus Quench and Blue Bolt flavors and is available in leading shops nationwide. Kath works out regularly (you can see her abs!) and say even if Gatorade No Sugar doesn't have sugar on it, it still tastes good! She and the participants were also given special shirts that reveal a message when you sweat on it, reminding them to hydrate if you're doing a lot of fitness activities, or have an active lifestyle.

DANIEL PADILLA and KATHRYN BERNARDO Host Thanksgiving Dinner for #KathNiel Fans

Just got home from a KathNiel event this evening at the Microtel by Wyndham in UP Technohub Quezon City. The two function rooms were full to the brim of loyal KathNiel fans, of different ages converged celebrating the official 11th year of the fandom and the 10th year anniversary of Kath and DJ as boyfriend and girlfriend. 

 

This was sort of a huge THANK YOU from the lovely couple Kathryn Bernardo and her man Daniel Padilla. They arranged this solely for them, to show how much they appreciate their support over the years. This is for the fans and their undying love for the two brightest stars of ABSCBN.

Usually, it's the other way around that happens in the Philippines, but they knew, there was always a clamor to celebrate their 10th year... but then the pandemic happened. I've always have an affinity with these two, because with the several encounters I've had with them... they've always been so nice as people. It wasn't rocket science that they have been loved by many because as Daniel puts it, he says "We put a part of our lives out there, and when you share a part of yourself with people, like Kath is from the province, and I'm from the hood, it's the reason why they can relate. They see themselves in us, and if you think about it, it's not a secret!"
