It's so successful that I felt we really didn't have to tell people to watch it. Nor did we felt that we had to even say that the premise of the story would work. It's new, it's a gamble, but I think judging from the ratings last Monday, it really paid off. I'm talking about TIMY, Till I Met You, the new James Reid and Nadine Lustre starrer made by Dreamscape and ABSCBN.
I watched it at home and I personally loved it. I'm sure a thousand more did too. Well, to start off, you are not alone. People on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and the press have been all wondering why the one of GMA's prized performers suddenly didn't appear in the GMA Christmas Station ID this 2015. Just like you, we felt that was a big nono if you didn't have the greatest singer in the land be included in that yearly thing. We were at the presscon of Regine Velasquez - Alcasid's "Regine... at the Theater" concert at the Theater in Solaire held in Luxent Hotel in Timog Avenue. As usual, the press couldn't help but ask Asia's Songbird why she wasn't there.
She immediately quashed rumors that GMA might have ditched her or have her intentionally gone from the Christmas Station ID. She says "It wasn't really anybody's fault because I was already so busy preparing for this concert and other commitments and they even had schedules where I could have gone, but I was just really busy and our schedules didn't permit us to go there. For those spreading rumors, just understand that I was just busy and had taping on the dates they have allotted for the shoot; and it's nothing complicated nor have something to do with GMA. It's just our schedules." says Regine.
Aside from that, Regine also told us about the first two days of her "Regine... at the Theater" concert in Solaire and said "It was really hard. All the songs were really hard to sing and it was a good thing that we had a break in between weeks because I almost lost my voice after the concert". When a member from the press told her about getting her voice back (from the Regine we knew from 10 years ago), she says "Well I don't know, the thing is, it's always been the same for me. I don't feel like it's the same if it's because most of the songs I did were Pop and this time I'm doing not just one highlight of a broadway play, I'm practically doing all of them in one concert; so just imagine how hard this is for me. But thank you so much if that's how you see it." she explained.
She also added how much Aicelle Santos has done quite great during the first two days of the show. She chose them for a reason and they really delivered in duets they lined up for the show. The next ones though will have Jonalyn Viray. She'll be doing the same actual songs that Aicelle did in the first two days, but Regine knows how they'll attack this differently and that's something to look forward to on the 20th and 21st. Regine also advised people to come on time because they'll be doing the show as soon as it strikes 8PM at the Theater in Solaire. This happened in one of the ballrooms of Makati Shangrila. There were only a few selected people from the press and the online industry that were invited to this special conference. Thanks to BENCH for hooking us up! Shown above is Ms. Sam Oh, she's interviewed a lot of celebrities before including Oppa Lee Min Ho and some other stars here and there. Then he walked in.
Some of the girls were in shock. I'm not surprised they didn't get to scream in the start but after that, it was like a concert in the room. One of the hottest guys in the planet was there, adored by millions of his fans.
There he was, Taylor Lautner. After introductions, they immediately started to ask him questions.
They asked Taylor about Manila and he was ecstatic. He was also happy to see the ones who went to the airport that early. He didn't expect that there would be so many fans waiting for him at that time.
He was asked about what his style was and he said "if it's not comfortable then it's not for me". He was so glad that the clothes from Bench was easy. He could still move around with it and everything fits perfectly. He only wears jeans and a tshirt most of the time so BENCH was just something that was like serendipity. This is actually my second time seeing him this near and mind I tell you he's got almost creamy flawless skin. I've never seen anyone this smooth, this approachable and appreciative at the same time. Oppa was a delight to hear while being interviewed. He was a little tired but he didn't show it. It started a little bit rough on the venue because everyone wanted to see him, take shots of him and videos too. So imagine the throng of people fighting their way in the front so they could do this. Yes, I'm part of that crowd too. It was hard, but I know I've got to at least give you what you wanted to see. Then when everyone was settled... he came in... of course I've heard screams!
He immediately said hi to everyone and proceeded to his seat in the middle for the interview. He waved a lot to his fans and to the media. He was a little tired I think from the trip but he kept smiling all throughout the interview. He inaugurated the building, this was held on the 21st floor of the new BENCH TOWER. =)

Sam Oh of ETC hosted the program. She was fun and bubbly. She made it easy for Lee Min Ho to get settled and the conversation was fun.
