GLAIZA DE CASTRO for Endless Beauty by HBS

Monday, November 15, 2021

It was a nice afternoon of re-connecting as our first salvo of live entertainment press conference meant we're meeting the ever talented Glaiza De Castro. It's been a year of milestones for the Kapuso actress and by no means is she shortchanged in shows, programs, and just recently, endorsements. She is now the face of Endless Beauty by HBS.

It's a company produces top quality skin care products for the most common skin issues. Thing is, they've kept most of their products affordable all these years and it's relatively easy to get hold of them as they've devised to employ a lot of people as distributors and sellers here and in other countries.

We met Ms. Jamie Prado and her daughter during the press conference. They had very humble beginnings coming from money borrowed from her husband (Php 1,500) which she used to purchase soaps back in the day. She learned the ropes and constantly expanded her network. She had the trust of a lot of people because of the products she sold, then began thinking of working with other professionals to put up her own brand. That's where "Endless Beauty by HBS" came about and used it to better the lives of other people. Thing is, it's easy to become part of their movement. You may inquire through their official Facebook page over at https://www.facebook.com/hbsbeauty and show your intentions to be a distributor too. They have different price points where you can start, and it ain't that much to have your own business. Best of all,  a lot of people love their products already and are only sold through their members. It's also the reason why they have no physical stores because instead of them earning much of it, they prefer their resellers, distributors and dealers to have that opportunity.

Their current best seller is the Bleaching Soap Advanced. There are tons of other products in their line but suggest you know why it's effective.

Glaiza De Castro was quite happy that she got to represent the brand because the owner Ms Jamie Prado has always regarded her as a very powerful actress, one that can do lead roles, villain roles and become so amazing with it. This is the trait the owner says that convinced her how Glaiza perfectly represents them, they are VERSATILE. They want you to try the product and see how it works on you.

Here's our interview with Glaiza and Ms. Jamie Prado a few days ago

Glaiza also shared her recent trip to the UK and Ireland with her fiancee David Rainey. She also told us about her new shows, new projects, her plans in music and a few details about the wedding and how she met David's parents. They live in the north western part of Ireland and is a very tight nit family, Glaiza really appreciated how she was loved by them and offered  to be her family when she's there.

Hope you love our updates about Glaiza De Castro! Congratulations dear, you're going to get that dream wedding I'm sure! I'm really happy for you!

Lifebuoy and Philippine Red Cross Push for 4 Point Hygiene Agenda

Sunday, November 14, 2021

Even before this arrived in the mail, I must say, I've grown an affinity to the soap brand trusted by families around the world, that's Lifebuoy. As various businesses are going back to normal, I'm sure people are raring to go outside but of course, we shouldn't forget how to protect ourselves from an unseen enemy. The government offices and doctors recommend hand washing, cleaning and disinfecting, which the good folks at Lifebuoy have done quite well doing during these very difficult years.

Honestly, I know there are tons of soaps out there that actually have the same features, but the way they make Lifebuoy these days, just smells amazingly good. Last year, they campaigned for proper handwashing.. that really helped a lot of individuals who struggle and ask themselves if its enough. Filipinos want something easy, something that really works. Lifebuoy has Aciv Silver+ technology that helps fight 99.0% of germs.

They want to help even more this year so together with the Philippine Red Cross, they're pushing for a 4 point hygiene plan so you could be empowered especially the youth. They call it #4TheFuture, and it's easy to follow!

1. Wear that mask. It has proven to lessen the spread of the virus, and even if government restrictions has eased, please be kind, protect yourselves, your loved ones, and other people.

2. Practice social distancing. You may be innocently just buying grocery, lining up in a government agency, or riding public transportation. No matter where it ease, the distance makes it hard to spread the virus so again, be kind.

3. Get that jab. It has been proven that vaccines work. It also has lessen deadly effects of the virus so be a responsible citizen and get that vaccine.

4. Wash your hands and do it regularly. The easiest way to get rid of the virus is quite simple, and we have to do it regularly. There are a lot of things we can get in surfaces and if you're prone to touching your face often, that's not going to be safe. Make sure you do!

Now it ain't impossible to be a Lifebuoy Ambassador, they have a program for it. Just sign up at https://bit.ly/LifebuoyAmbassador and tell other people about Do The Lifebuoy #4TheFuture 4 point hygiene agenda. Tell them about it in any way you like, not just in social media. You can also get Lifebuoy in leading supermarkets, groceries, even online in Shopee and Lazada. You may see information about this in their Facebook page so just search for Lifebuoy Philippines, it's all there! They've got lots of products like body wash, alcohol, and of course, soaps and liquid soap for handwashing. Been loving it so far, you will too!

Filipino Actor LEO CONSUL Takes Indonesia by Storm and Releases Single NO PUEDO

Saturday, November 13, 2021

Leo Consul is making waves again in Indonesia. The man who hosted in Eat Bulaga's Indonesian franchise is now doing acting roles. He is part of Terpaksa Menikahi (Forced Marriage) and Love Story. He's also gone doing movies in our ASEAN neighbor. Aside from that, he just released a song this year entitled "NO PUEDO".

Leo Consul is a native of Bolinao Pangasinan and he pursued a career as an English teacher in an international school in Indonesia. His passion being in the entertainment industry was really a calling, he started doing auditions and made the cut.

He says "It took me a couple of years to learn Bahasa. I had to learn it fast because of Eat Bulaga Indonesia. English wasn't widely use, it takes a while but I understand everything now. Before I did the series, I just had a few sessions. I learned theatre from school. I also watched Korean dramas, which it was patterned from. I did shows, which I also hosted. I have also been given shows wherein I didn't have to auditioned anymore because they trusted me with what I do. I tried to join around 2007, I used to host a travelling show in a regional ABSCBN show. I also auditioned for Starstruck, Pinoy Dream Academy. Honestly speaking, when I came to Indonesia, I was really appreciated, but it worked out in the end... because I was probably meant to be here at first. If I didn't get opportunities in the Philippines, I was lucky to be in in Indonesia. I do get compared with Piolo and Inigo Pascual, and I am honored when people tell me that."

Ladies, he's single... and says "Yes we just broke up, we couldn't cope with the distance. What helped me a lot was doing the series, I just focused on it and everything was good. I hope the next one is the serious one, I'm not getting any younger anymore and I hope we have the same goals, and not that complicated anymore."

If you want to see his work, go stream his single NO PUEDO in streaming sites worldwide. You can also see his music video on YouTube today. He's raring to have his own Filipino career and with Cornerstone by his side, it'll be possible.

Huawei Holds TECH DAY 2021 to Power Digital Philippines

Friday, November 12, 2021

It was a celebrative mood over at Huawei Philippines as they launch TECH DAY 2021 last November 11th. It was a time to see how companies are spearheading ICT innovations as they continue to build more digital infrastructures in the Philippines.

The digitalization was forced because of the pandemic, but it has done that 10 years ahead in the Asia Pacific according to management firm McKinsey. They attribute survival to resilience and having more of it especially in complex businesses in the country. Huawei's Director of Enterprise Business Department Todd Liu says "Digital trasnformation is vital in office work, next is production and third is its effects in enterprise. This is also the same goals that DICT holds and Huawei wants this to be the same ideals that we want our partners and loyal customers to have as we cooperate and build digital structures that power a more digital Philippines."

We recently published an article showing the Intelligent World 2030 report a few months back. It contains that we'll have 200 Billion connections by that year. Huawei will continue to innovate as long as there is something to be sensed, connected and have something to do with AI. Union Bank's CIO Dennis Omila who also spoke at the event says that this is one of the reasons why they chose to partner with Huawei with their UnionBank Innovation Campus. More companies will partner with Huawei together with other industries in the Philippines.
