Limitless Star Julie Anne San Jose is Your 2025 Ginebra Calendar Girl

 

Change is good, and this goes the same with your Limitless Star Julie Anne San Jose. She's the newest Ginebra Calendar Girl set for 2025. She joins a number of illustrious women who have graced the calendar which started 34 years ago, a tradition for the well loved brand. Julie has never done something like this, and she wanted to show a different side. She did looked quite confident and braver donning several couture pieces meant to represent the various drinks that the company carries.

She also didn't just appear and say hi, she came out with things blazing, putting in apt song and dance numbers, we all felt like it was a full blown concert after every reveal. In my years of covering stuff like this, I've never seen something like this before. She was also given her own bottle with JULIE ANNE on the label, it was only being given during the event to commemorate it. She was very happy about the calendars and how it turned out, she was just so relieved she could tell people about it now since they've been working on it since the beginning of the year and had to be mum about its existence, so they could have a grand reveal!

Ginebra San Miguel Celebrates 190 Years with Archangel Reserve

Everyone was in a celebratory mood when we arrived at the ballroom of Novotel Araneta City. To mark Ginebra San Miguel's 190th Anniversary, they had us experience heritage, culture and the good things they whip up at their plants all these years.

Outside was a plethora of memorabilia, including age old bottles they use to contain their products, and how it evolved all through the years. While undoubtedly knowing its Filipino roots, the technology and corporate beginnings have all started in Manila in 1834. It was family owned, then spread throughout the country via major cities. It started a tradition, and products became high quality yet remained affordable. From their Ginebra San Miguel, GSM line, Premium Distilled, Antonov, Anejo Gold, Primera Light, Vino Kulafu, it became the most diverse subsidiary for products through San Miguel Corporation.

The event had a theatrical performance all throughout the night explaining the reason why the company has remained productive, through innovation and continue to become an integral part of Filipino celebrations for almost 2 centuries. The event was also graced by Ginebra San Miguel executives, celebrity endorsers like Boss Toyo, Mikee Quintos from Sparkle, and Attorney Oliver Moeller. Later in the evening, Nik Makino went up on stage and performed for everybody to celebrate #WorldGinDay. He's also a part of the endorsers tapped for this year, and he's mighty proud how his music and the countless Filipinos that made it viral on TikTok. He said he owes much of his success to the people who believed in him, and gives advice to only do it in legal age + and moderately.

The much awaited reveal of the Ginebra Calendar Girl this year was quite epic. To say the least, it's quite different than the previous ones because as you can see on the output, they have thought of a theme. The Philippines is composed of 7,641 islands, each celebrating different town fiestas. It's part of culture, that even with diverse number of languages in every region, we still manage to put food on the table and celebrate good times. It's some sort of thanksgiving, and so the layouts for Heaven Peralejo would want to exude that, and of course, still look gorgeous in it.

Ginebra also knows how much their brand is part of every Filipino celebration. Much festivities have men and women glued to seats, taking the ceremonial toast, and drink up to thank for a bountiful harvest, for weathering disasters, or just plainly giving homage to their patron that differs every town too.

YASSI PRESSMAN is Your New GSM Calendar Girl for 2023

Yes you've heard it, your newest Ginebra San Miguel Calendar Girl for 2023 is Yassi Pressman. She was formally launched as Queen of the Barangay and brand ambassador in the yearly Ginebra San Miguel event.

Yassi Pressman just transferred networks but really gained fame with her dance numbers in variety shows, her stint in Ang Probinsyano, and a lot of other programs from the same network. Now her upcoming programs in the Kapuso network include a reprisal 80's film "Saan Nagtatago Ang Pagibig" which will be a project with Viva Films and GMA to be shown on her new station.

They unveiled the new calendars  and it's got a lot of photos of Yassi in different places. From a garage, a forest, by the sea shore, with willow trees, scenic sunset and by the fire. She exudes a different energy. 

Yassi says "At the end of the day, being a part of a great legacy is something special. They are world class and I hope I put something on the table as the new GSM Calendar Girl 2023. I am in a fitness journey right now, I am eating healthy and hopefully this would show. My favorite GSM girl is Pia Wurtzbach. It's challenging to be disciplined, in a way I am going through a lot right now and I feel like being part of this is being ageless, my most natural self and I think people should see that so they get inspired to work on themselves, surround themselves of the people who love them, never say die and keep going in spite of troubles. If you try and fail, you've got a lot of people to catch you. This is for my family, it's why I am really inspired to keep going, they are my inspiration. Being caring is innate in Filipinos, I hope to also get to help other people as your 2023 Calendar Girl."

WORLD GIN DAY Celebrations Kicked Off by GSMI

Thirsty? Me too, and I really dread not going to this event by Ginebra San Miguel Inc. a few nights ago in Makati City. It's World Gin Day and what better way to celebrate it in the Philippines but by dishing out finely crafted drinks, designed, localized with products from GSMI. With some of the best bartenders in the country, they made different drinks for the media to try. Fret not people, because just like the ones experience by these people, you too would get the chance to do the pub crawls in your own area.

There will be Gin Bar Crawls in Baguio via Cowboy Town, One Piece Bar, Moeging, Yankees, and Tavern Rose. In Rizal and Marikina, there's Upper Level, Hippers Antipolo, Hippers Marikina, Barkada Treats, Padi's Point too. In Naga City, there's gonna be one in Bora Hut, Hive and Seek, El Gabino's, Momotz, and in Gabi's Diner. If you're in Cebu, don't be sad because you can enjoy drinks in Southscape, Kwikspar 1 and 2, Werpa, and Plaza ni George. For those who are down south in Davao, there's one in Base Camp, Chick and Chill, Whatever, Dox and Emok's. This will all happen on June 11, 17, 18, 24 and 25 from 6PM to 12MN, so time to set that long awaited session with the whole gang right?

GINEBRA SAN MIGUEL Calendar Girl 2021

The word is out and yes, Ginebra San Miguel has chosen their Calendar Girl for 2021. The lady hails from California USA. This LA based gorgeous woman is Christelle Abello. 

Allan Mercado of Ginebra says “Welcome to the 2021 Ginebra San Miguel Calendar Girl Launch. We are bringing it to you so you can experience it in the comforts of your home. Everyone is working, ganado sa bahay, we will feature a fresh face, in 6 calendars personifying One Ginebra Nation. We are very happy to welcome her to the Ginebra San Miguel family, thank you!”

Born to a Filipino mom and an American Dad, she entered pageantry and went to win Bb.Pilipinas in the US. She also joined Ms World Philippines later on, and even if she didn’t win, planned to stay and fell in love with the Philippines. 

Christelle Abello says “I am so overwhelmed and thrilled, can’t believe that I am the new Ginebra San Miguel Calendar Girl. This is a dream that turned into a reality, I am so happy, thrilled and honored to be part of the Ginebra Family. Having the values of appreciating everything in life. I asked my friends for help to do a fundraiser, got help from the states, as I know kindness goes a long way. Our value of being hospitable is so powerful, I’m using my platform to show others that the Philippines is a great place to see.”

“I was interested in this project, I had to audition for this. It is a great way to inspire our people in these trying times. It is a difficult year for all of us, but we are resilient, we push forward and stay positive."

The theme this year is Ganado sa Bahay. She laments "We still can enjoy things in the comforts of your home and face the world the next day. Even in pambahay, no makeup on, you can put on a lipstick and go celebrate with your loved ones." 

She continues explaining the concepts and tells us "The third layout is about gaming, playing and making memories. The 4th layout is about being ganado sa ehersisyo, to get fit so you feel happy and ready. The 5th layout is ganado sa pagpipinta or any other hobby, to do what we love to do, to unleash creativity. The last layout is for doing good in your career, to reward yourself after a long day of work."

She adds “My favorite is the Ganado sa Pagpipinta, I really relate to it because it speaks about doing your passion.”
