MYRTLE SARROSA is the face of TIMEZONE Philippines

Went down south today (at Ayala Malls Manila Bay) for the biggest announcement of TIMEZONE, the biggest chain of arcades, fun and entertainment in the country. They've already had milestones in the 28 years they've existed in the Philippines, and today they announced their BIGGEST revelation yet. See, they've never ever had a face represent them in this era of endorsers and brand ambassadors... But that's about to change today as they managed to get the nod for one of the biggest creators, cosplay and gamer girl in the country to represent them. She is MYRTLE SARROSA, a pretty apt person to do this right?

Myrtle fondly remembers when they opened a branch in Iloilo City years ago and she happened to join the event at a mall in the capital. She went back every week and made sure to play a drum arcade game with the amount she got to save from her allowance from school. She remembers how much fun she had there with friends and family, and being a legitimate gamer who often goes to TIMEZONE, she felt so honored to represent a brand that she personally loves. 

TIMEZONE Philippines President Rafel Prats Jr. recognized Myrtle's energetic and playful personality, some of which represents what TIMEZONE is as a brand. They see these as great qualities for a brand ambassador so there was no question Myrtle would certainly fit the role. They plan to have Myrtle to be present in activations, more store openings and in paraphernalia of TIMEZONE branches today and in the future ones. 

They also announced several promos designed to encourage even more people to purchase Powercards from TIMEZONE. The BLOOKES BUNDLE so when you buy 650 pesos load you can get 800 worth of Powercard Load. The STRAIGHT TO BLUE BUNDLE on the other hand costs 2950 pesos and will get you 4000 Powercard Load value. The STRAIGHT TO GOLD on the other hand is 9950 pesos, but will get you 14,000 Power card load. They also have blind boxes and RC Cars to be given with the tiers, so make sure you get them fast because they may run out soon.

TIMEZONE Holds Meaningful Thanksgiving Event at Trinoma

A few days ago, we got to celebrate a thanksgiving event with the folks from TIMEZONE Philippines at their Trinoma branch in Quezon City. But it felt a lot different, because aside from the fun we had at the venue and celebrations inside their huge party rooms, it was a time to meet media friends, and experience something so heartwarming with the kids from Save the Children, an organization dedicated to children's rights, which has been in the country for over 40 years. They've been able to help over 1.9 Million children with health programs, their education and livelihood projects for their families. Since it's the holidays, TIMEZONE partnered them up with columnists, editors, bloggers, vloggers that day to have a little fun with that TIMEZONE Trinoma had to offer.

This is the 2nd largest branch in the country that has 150 machines to make sure they've got something to offer folks of all ages. Their General Manager Raffy Prats was there to make sure the media guests were enjoying every bit of it, including the meaningful times we had with the kids from Save the Children.

We were able to access the party room after spending a few hours in the arcade. It was adorned with balloons and party hats, with food for more energy after the program. They also had us earn tickets in some of the games we played at the venue, to exchange with small home appliances, toys, food and more knick knacks to take home. It was also easy to hold a party there because they've got partners like Shakey's, Goldilocks and Jollibee to be sure we were fed to the brim. There's More Fun at TIMEZONE U.P. TOWN CENTER

Whenever I go to UP TOWN CENTER, I often just eat and buy photography stuff since it houses a lot of restaurants and my favorite photo supply center. There are also clothing shops inside so if I need to pick up a shirt or trousers, it's easy to get off the rack. It makes me so excited that there's a new thing to do in this joint because yes, the new TIMEZONE UP TOWN CENTER just opened its doors to the public last April 26th. This is located at the 2nd Floor, back side of the 2 floor structure so you can alight from the last entrance where H&M is. 

The grand opening was attended by Timezone executives headed by their President and GM Raffy Prats. Celebrities like Maui Taylor, Andrea Del Rosario and their kids also joined the fun. They even teamed up with us in a few games we did later on. We also managed to do a cheer in 15 minutes, but the fun is just starting! 

Albeit loving fighting games, they have new machines to make your experience even more awesome. They have Virtual Reality games, HALO, Minecraft Dungeon, Sailor Quest, Asphalt 9DX and tons of ticket pouring machines which you can save and exchange for food, drinks, teddy bears, toys, and small appliances.

They also have a TIME TO PARTY section where you can hold small events, your birthday celebrations, and make it even more intimate for a few hours and arrange food, party favors, the options are endless! They also have a few bowling lanes (good for groups), plus some Billiard Tables and Bump Cars, so imagine the things you can do here, hours and hours of fun! Don't even talk about the Karaoke rooms!

They also had the Arellano Chiefs (NCAA Cheer Champs) to perform for us, we saw how they well deserve those trophies they've been collecting for years. Aside from that, GMA's PPOP boyband CLOUD7 and some of the Sparkle Teens also joined in the fun. They also took photos with us which made our fun day even better. 

Now, it's your turn to to have that when you visit UP Town Center. This place needed it, and now that you've got a place to do it, bring your friends and family because there's more fun where that came from!

If you haven't discovered it yet, there's a new Timezone branch at the Marquee Mall in San Fernando, Pampanga. Kapampangan friends and families will get a taste of the same entertainment that people have been enjoying in different places across the country.

They spruced it up, arranged the machines to an even wider floor area so you can have more of your favorite games, tickets to win, and prizes to take home in one place. What's even better is that there are new games included in the re-opening which can be played from sun up to sun down, for folks of different ages.

3rd Biggest TIMEZONE Opens at Robinsons Place Manila

My love for the arcades span years when I used to compete in different shops in Metro Manila. It further sparked my gamer life... and I've made lifelong friends which I treasure to this day. What I love about this form of entertainment is that it transcends time, as it is the perfect bonding time for people of any age and I still love it today. A few days ago, I've had the pleasure of spending time at the third largest TIMEZONE in the Philippines. This is located at Robinsons Place Manila's second floor at the end of the Pedro Gil wing, and it was so much fun to be in an arcade again after so many years!

Entertainment like this was surely missed during the last few years and I'm so glad restrictions have eased, and we can now enjoy a world class family entertainment center at the heart of Manila. We also got to talk to Rafael Prats Jr. the President and GM of TIMEZONE in the Philippines as he explained some of the new things the new branch will offer - including several short Tenpin Bowling and Duckpin lanes which people tend to get addicted to the whole day. Aside from that they've got several billiard tables which Dads, Sons, your friends can enjoy! There are also several Karaoke Kiosks where you can sing to your hearts content without the public judging you because it is an enclosed space. They also have a new 9D ride which people loved so much, it had a line in just a few minutes.

Much of the machines in this new venue actually come out with tickets which you can save and use to exchange with toys, plushies and food items. My personal favorite is the one that spins around and cough up discs that contain the value of tickets, I got 1K worth of it from that. I exchanged it for snacks and a plushie so I have something to give my Mom when I get home. She loved it!

Folks who love crane machines will be in plushie and ticket heaven as they've got a lot of these in the new TIMEZONE branch. Miss Universe Philippines National Director Shamcey Supsup was also there playing with her whole family. She represents ARTE partylist who represent entertainment industry workers and artists, she's really beautiful!

By the way, their prize redemption center was like a candy store. You can enter yourself and shop for the prize you want personally. Then they just scan your card for the equivalent points, pretty easy. I had so much fun at TIMEZONE and for sure, I will be back to play more of the games I did good at. Timezone Opens Biggest Branch in Ayala Malls Feliz

I'm a gamer, old school by todays standards but I can give a fight in any title if I need to. I've spent my childhood, my teens and even college life playing with consoles, and my hangout was pretty much the arcade. So when I was invited a couple of days ago in Ayala Malls Feliz for the opening of what is supposed to be the BIGGEST Timezone branch in the country, I jumped at the opportunity to see it. 

Honestly I couldn't believe my eyes. The 5th Floor of this new mall will obviously be filled with other merchants - but judging from the looks of it, this whole section they are in will be the piece de resistance. It's HUGE, HUMONGOUS, but pretty simple concept to put in one place. They've been talking abojt this a couple of months ago (when they opened the branch in Ayala Malls Vertis North). This time they won't hold back and will cater to each member of the family.

This is called TIMEZON AIR. A large trampoline park on the right side of the venue. They can hold different trampoline exhibitions, ultimate dodgeball or just about anything that you can imagine your kids or not so kids anymore to do here. I was a wee bit envious when some of the kids tried this out because I couldn't go there because I was still playing games in the arcade, I'm surely going back here. I'll bring a couple friends along because it's not that expensive, we can have lots of fun here.

This is the TIMEZONE PLAY area. It's the ulimate fun house for your kids 5 and up. Thing is, this isn't your ordinary obstacle course as there are several learning modules on the first floor. It would make your kids excercise their brains, learn a lot with science, history, as they have dedicated a section for it. It's got four floors to tickle the fancy of your kids, I'm sure they won't be bored with this huge play area that comprises about third of the whole venue.

The Entertainment Center in the middle part of the TIMEZONE grounds houses the different machines for arcade games, they have the latest and the greatest fighting, alter reality, shooting and race games. Aside from that, they have different fun games that spit out tickets which you can save and equate for a prize later on. I'm saving up for that bike I saw in their counter, they also have cute Mario Brothers plush and Star Wars toys which I'm sure you'll all love.

They also have food establishments inside the venue that is connected with Banapple. They call it SANDWICHEESE which serves some real organic healthy stuff to the more not so guilt free meals because cheese is life.

I would take my friends and family here in a heartbeat. I would also get my ideal date here if that happens, I love girl gamers LOL. 

Anyway, you can see this all happen at the 5th Floor of the new Ayala Malls Feliz along Marcos Highway in Marikina. The new shops, restaurants and this complete family fun entertainment venue should keep you there for days if the mall doesn't close for the next workday, I assure you you'll love em all!

Time for Fun at Timezone AyaLa Malls Vertis North

My kind of gaming spans years of spending it in arcades. My highschool accomplishments include a little byline of championing two of my favorite games Samurai Showdown and Darkstalkers. Although most kids nowadays prefer battling it out on a console, my idea of a battle is totally different and involves fighting in arenas with total strangers thay come from different parts of the city and make them try to beat me. Most often than not, they go home losers but the thrill of actually fighting on screen is an experience I got addicted to, because the whole experience is different. It was something I always wanted to feel, the nervousness of actually punching and knocking out opponents in a game is surreal and can't be duplicated. So this is why up until this day, I still go to arcades like Timezone. Because in the age of console gaming, we still want to experience being in a room full of machines and getting into fights across the screen that couldn't be replicated at home. So when they opened a new branch in Ayala Malls Vertis North, all I could say is "I'm there!".

Timezone has been my go to place to play arcade games nowadays and there are several machines in this place that are very new but spit out tickets so you can get the equivalent points exchanged with some fun toys and knick knacks they have on the play area. Let me show you around.

This one is Pac Man Battle Royale. You can drop coins (or swipe your Powercard in this case) and play with 3 other opponents to finish all the stages and try not to get eaten by the ghosts running around pac land.

Timezone is for family entertainment so they built three whole lanes of play bowling so your kids and not so kids at heart would be able to play games bu swiping a few hundred pesos per line. It's pretty cool they were able to fit this in the game area and according to the executives I interviewed later that day, they have something in the pipeline that is not even half of what they put in on this new branch. There will be an even BIGGER one? Are you kidding me? And that's what we should also find out very soon. 

I played on this machine and got several hundred tickeys in one go. I thought I was already good at it but my blogger friend Myke Soon (of mykesoon.net) got even more rolls of tickets than me, no joke!

They have been also holding several events including this one for Tekken 7 which they got the machine in advanced (ahead of any Philippine based entertainment centers) then got them be played by legit arcade enthusiasts like me. Although I'm not quite an expert in Tekken I can put up a fight LOL. 

For race car fans, you don't wanna miss playing on this one that takes photos of your face and includes them in game! Now you can bump the off the course, get ahead of the pack and recognize them while you're running around the track. Isn't that nice? :) 

If you wanna test your eye hand coordination, try this machine for gift certificates, tons of toys, and rolls upon rolls of tickets. This is difficult haha.

For those who want to try their luck, you should always choose your briefcases wisely. The old Deal or No Deal game is a fun way to play with your friends and family. But be sure to back out if you're already being offered a high amount of tickets by the banker. You don't wanna lose all those precious points you know.

They have more interactive games with realy water spitting out of the tubes and hitting monsters on the machines. It would be pretty great for kids.

I know a lot of my friends spent a lot of hours in these cubicles. It's got Laraoke machines in them and each song is cheap, so swipe away and get involved with your inner diva and belt those song numbers like nobody is watching. 

For movie buffs, you can play Transformers. Beat them Decepticons and save the world from powerful evil beings who want them for their own.

Oh and if you can still see this tower at Timezone, take a selfie with it and enter their contest because you'll get a chance to win prizes like MORE load for your Powercards which means more Time for Fun.

I played the Bowling game and got pretty descent scores. It's like Duckpin with digital scoring systems and even kids could play this game because the balls are so light.

For guys who want to play, be in comfy clothes. You may shop next door haha. Again, it was a treat for gamers like me to go back and enjoy Timezone. I went back to this place for 3 straight days because I had so much fun, not to mention the tons of scores and stuffed toys I had, I got to take them all home for my Mom and sister too. :)

They have machines that really clamp on toys, none of those cheating ones you often see in the other arcades. I got to take home tons of dogs and pigs in the process. 

The dance machines were phenomenal. There were tons of dancers waiting for their turn on this 2017 edition of this game and they did it with ease. I couldn't even see the arrows anymore and they were professionals I think. Some of them were probably also talents of Timezon/ might have worked with them as their shirts had all their logos on it. I was at awe!

Congratulations to the men and women who worked hard to put this TIMEZONE Ayala Malls Vertis North branch up at the third floor. I'll be playing here during my free time and will come back to redeem my toys as soon as I get the needed points for that huge stuffed toy I want from your shelves. I promise you I'll get it.
