PHILUSA Corporation Launches Babyflo Buddies at Robinsons Magnolia

Saturday, September 30, 2023

Just got off the Babyflo Buddies media launch at Robinsons Magnolia's Central Garden grounds in Quezon City. Folks had to wake up early for the morning event and tons of activities were prepared for kids and their families for one fun Saturday with the Play, Party and Pamper event.

Babyflo is one of the most trusted brands when it comes to baby products. Their parent company PHILUSA is also Filipino owned, making sure their products are affordable but of world class quality. If you live nearby or are just in the area, the activities are open to the public from 1pm to 9pm just for today!

I love the party games and food carts the most because you kinda get to have fun while you're there. This would be a fun activity with your kids and other family members.

PHILUSA Corporation's Marketing Head Maya Leander says "This is the first time we are holding an event after the pandemic, and we are excited to tell you about the latest additions to the Babyflo family. We are the second happiest country in Asia, and we wear that smile while we practice the joy with our families. It's our mission to bring that happiness to every kid, and we have the widest range of products to do that. We use the highest quality of ingredients and make it affordable, all proudly Filipino made. Now we have to encourage our kids to use this inner joy, to make sure they grow up right. I wish everyone a happy day today and beyond!"

Brand Manager Rachelle Inciso adds "Together with our team, we want you to experience fun and the magic of childhood. We believe a happy baby makes a happy mommy, and it also makes a less stressed Dad. We hope you can love the new Babyflow Buddies because you will see them on stage today!"

Mommy influencers Neri Miranda and Iya Villana Arellano also joined in the fun. They have a talk encouraging Moms like them to take time to have fun while taking care of their kids. Iya says "Thank you Lord it's not raining now, we can enjoy the fun activities Babyflo has prepared for all of us. As parents we can always relate at some way and form. I took off a lot of my workout regimen because I need to recover. They are rough boys, all of them, no 5th one yet. No plans but it would be a happy accident because it's unsurmountable joy they bring everyday. If you ask Primo, weekends are the only gadget day."

Neri says "I'm really busy with business but I decided to put load later because I can see my kids are growing up so fast. I want to make sure I have time for them, to be there to send them off to school. Kids are different now, you have to chase them at a certain age. I used to also let them use gadgets but I see the big difference in attitude, so I don't let them have it unless it's needed. They did become impatient, addictive, so I removed it from the equation and let them bond together. That is a whole lot better!"

Together with living with kids, you need products that can make sure they're clean and safe.. and also are having fun. Go to Robinsons Magnolia today and get you, your kids in tow to enjoy the activities this afternoon. Remember, it opens at 1PM til 9PM, only for today!

Congratulations PHILUSA and Babyflo!

ROCCO and MELISSA NACINO Launches MAMA LUNA

Tuesday, July 05, 2022

Meet the Nacino's, Actor Rocco and Volleybelle Melissa

I've been really looking forward seeing Rocco Nacino and his wife Melissa Gohing-Nacino all these months since they've announced that they're having a baby. Recently, they divulged it's going to be a baby boy, and have yet to choose a name and settled for a temporary one called Baby N. Rocco just finished building his dream home, and are making headway finishing the baby room in the next few weeks. He also is a bit busy with a few acting projects and shared an international one which he hopes would bear fruit soon. Aside from that, Rocco and Melissa were busy with this brand they're working on with popular Direct Selling company Orabella. It's a family line called Mama Luna.

Anne Acuna VP for External Marketing of Orabella says "This was developed with Rocco and Melissa, and is part of our Mama Luna series. They have been heavily involved in developing this product. Orabella is one of the fast growing direct selling companies in the Philippines. We made sure this new line called Mama Luna is safe for babies and children. This rejuvenates, moisturize, affordable and is easy to use. Orabella also is in the business of helping others, a brand that you can trust. We've been  producing sustainable products for the whole family."

Melissa and Rocco Nacino says "We are for family care, for mommies, for daddies, it's been hard to keep it a secret but we've gone through a lot launching this product. Thank you to GMA for setting this up especially Sparkle. We got this idea when we got pregnant, we didn't know that there are products that we're not really allowed to use. We need something that would be safe for the family. Orabella has access online and through shopping apps. We experienced that there are products out there, but they're usually too expensive, Filipinos need access to it so we worked with Orabella to make sure Filipino moms are at their best in their pregnancy."

Phytosense Conditioning Shampoo has coconut based ingredients, crecatin, helps hairfall defense, chamomile so we don't get stressed. Melissa had to use it to check the smell, texture, especially at the first trimester. Hair feels either thicker or thinner because of the hormonal changes, and this prolongs the growth of hair.

Phytosense Bath Gel - There are a lot of chemicals that are not good for pregnant women, this is part of Mama Luna line. For those who have skin that tend to dry out right after a shower, this would be good for your skin. If you have dry skin, hypersensitive, and have textural changes, this would take care of you. This has AmiSoft that's got nourishing amino acids that repairs, replenishes and boosts moisture on the skin. This would hasten skin elasticity so you don't have much stretchmarks.

Phytosense Body Lotion is safe to use for pregnant women. This has sunflower oil, vitamins A C and D, Aloe Vera Juice to prevent hyper-pigmentation, and organic Chamomile Essense to reduce redness and relieve inflammation. This is best for body acne so you get less over production of oil, clogged pores. People can now have income selling this, and it is also environmentally friendly. This is very competitive, locally made, very affordable. The wheat straw packaging is renewable, a good alternative to plastic, FDA approved, is hypoallergenic, biodegradable in 3 to 6 months, very recyclable and re-moldable.

Resellers, and dealers especially in Antipolo will be handled personally by the couple. They have partnered with Orabella for this.

Rocco mentions "We went with Orabella because of their huge online presence, we were fans of lotions for working out. We were happy customers on day 1. When they do product development, they know how to work with everyone. They are for the people, and they think out of the box. They have expertise in developing products, they are our partners. It was months of planning, lots of yes and no, nights of thinking about it. This is now a fruitful partnership."

He adds "It was very exciting for us, but I was in locked in taping. We were trying a lot before that, we went on a vacation, we were relaxed and spent time. Mel knew about it while I was away, she surprised me. I got anxious, I did overthink a lot but we talked to our OB. Being a nurse, I had difficulty talking to people. Mel is blooming, we're officially having a boy!"

Rocco and Melissa are expecting a Boy <3

Melissa says "We tested our relationship early on because we couldn't agree on the name yet. I handle pedia wards and knew what Mommies go through especially with their skin. I went out and asked what their problems were while they are pregnant. It made us stronger, I realized that he's the best partner in any business. I became a lot clingy, I really needed to see him by video calling him every time he had a locked in taping. Adjusting to not being active after being an athlete was really hard, it made me anxious. I'm  thankful that Rocco was there, he's very helpful whenever I'm sad or just at home. I cried once because I was just there, but he took me to IKEA in a wheelchair and that made me happy! Mentally I'm in information overload, but we're going to be in a class for this by the end of the month, we'll attend that physically, but we have already made arrangements online. We have the same mantra, very workaholic, but we support each other. A supportive partner is very important. When we got married, we checked a lot of things in our bucket list first. When we establish these three products, we'll be coming out with more especially the Antipolo franchise to support resellers, distributors of Orabella in our own locale. We want to be a one stop shop for families, they don't have to look anywhere else if they need product for parents."

Rocco told us "I have ventured into businesses before, with restaurants, boxing gyms, and this is our new baby. We know that Moms need these products, Orabella knew how important this is for them. I'm always for experience, and will be dedicating with Mel on this business. I'm taping for another show, this will be multi-tasked. We are preparing the Baby Room, we are watching our weight, the next few months will be busy as we wait for Baby N to come. Every time he kicks, I watch her tummy. He likes rock music and we are excited for him. She is at her third trimester, and it's just gonna be a few weeks more to see him. We have different lifestyles, Mel misses volleyball, I'll be very supportive of her. I wanted to act on things while the idea was fresh, Mel's pregnancy was really attracting brands as an influencer. This is the time to grow with our brand as a family, we saw the demand for products like these and Mel tried all of it. It passed her standards which is why we went for it. These will be accessible through Shopee and Lazada."

This is not just good news for the couple, but for every Filipino Mom, Dad and Baby who's now got choices when it comes to safe products pre and post pregnancy. It doesn't have to be expensive when you're bringing a child into this world, and if you are thinking of gifting someone, this would be a good place to start. Congratulations Rocco and Melissa on your new venture with Orabella! Can't wait to see Baby N soon!

Marian Rivera Endorses 555 KumpleTUNA

Wednesday, April 15, 2015

I had so much fun yesterday during the reveal of 555 Tuna's newest endorser and GMA's Primetime Queen Ms. Marian Rivera - Dantes. My Instagram account exploded with likes since yesterday and I'm not surprised because she's heavenly! I like her too, so every time I see her I couldn't move LOL. During the program, she was tasked to judge the best tuna afritada, one that was made from scratch and the other that was jist taken straight from the 555 Tuna can. The Chef made it in around 40 minutes, whilst the housewife did it in almost a minute and poured a can over hot white rice. Marian found it better in fact, let's listen in to her in these videos:

PART 1

PART 2

Congratulations to Century Pacific Corporation who also makes Century Tuna. This line for 555 Tuna they say will cater to the largest market they have and they're also going to come out with more flavors of it aside from the Bicol Express, Adobo and Tuna Afritada that they have now. Marian Rivera will have commercials for that too! We've got more photos from the event, just head on to http://www.facebook.com/kumagcow and please like my page!

The New Partnership Of Alaska Milk and FrieslandCampina

Friday, April 11, 2014

We've been sharing the journey of growing up in the Philippines with Alaska. All your soups, main dishes or even your desserts have Alaska in them all these years. It's different, creamy and you know it's made with quality and freshness in mind. A few days ago, a partnership between Alaska and Royal FrieslandCampina has been formed to bring dairy expertise to Filipinos. FrieslandCampina is actually a Dutch dairy cooperative composed of thousands of farmers in the Netherlands. It's roots go back to 1879 and they've been gearing to expand their business for a long time and this move to acquire Alaska in the Philippines was but apt. They have high regards to what Alaska's role play in Filipinos lives. Now, they are bringing even more great products backed with the experience of 130 years!

Tifany Santuyo, a nutrition consultant for Alaska corporation told us a picture of a child's health in the Philippines. Using data from previous years, it only gave us news that wasn't pretty. The incapacity to get the right amount of vitamins and essential nutrients make a huge percent of Filipinos prone to growth stunting and wasting. This also happens in the first 1,000 days of their life, so making sure you get the right amount of nutrition is essential. She also adds how important the Mom's health is and its factors with the nutrition of newborns.

Dr. Anne Schaafsma explained to us the importance of protein and how nutrients can be absorbed by the body. He also took time talking about protein denaturation and how it happens. There are a lot of factors why there are problems in digestion with children and one of the major factors why it happens is glycation. It's when proteins combine with carbohydrates happens, resolving this would just take mild processing which makes it digested better and properly.

FrieslandCampina has been always in the forefront of quality; and together with their owners, they continue to produce milk and it's byproducts without shortcuts. They believe in the Grass to Glass process and with their emphasis on food safety, quality in farming, milking, collecting, processing, packaging and distribution, you are sure that what you are getting on your table is the best there is in the world. 130 years plus Alaska's 40 years in the Philippine market, just spells success in holding the title as the lead milk brand in the country bringing only the best for Filipino families just as they always have in the past years.

Now you know you're getting the best when Alaska is on your table. See? :)

Jason and Melai Spotted 10/29/2013

Tuesday, October 29, 2013

Hmmm.. You guys probably know that I've been trying to find latest photos of Jason and Isay for the longest time. Last one wasn't mine and twas a couple BTS shots of their prenup. I haven't seen them for a long time and I was so sad. Honestly it's okay with me because i'm sure they've seen a LOT of people... They've got millions of fans but I was so happy to have met them again a while ago.

Jason didn't recognize me but for me that's okay. Isay had to remind him who i was and i figured i had to re-introduce myself. Maybe i figured they have met so many media people in their lifetime and I'm just a cute blogger hahahaha

I was so happy to see them in the ABSCBN lobby when I got down of the elevator. I immediately snapped a few shots and felt that was rude of me... Naexcite yata ako hahaha... But really when I saw them I immediately turned into a fan. I wondered why are they here? Do they have a new show? Are they doing something new? I got no answers lol pero okay lang :) just seeing them was enough for me. :)

Isay was so nice. She said she remembered me hayyy... Look at her holding her tummy. I am so happy for these two. Hopefully we can talk a bit more soon about their baby and plans after the wedding. I hope i can get to cover that too. Hay :( so I'm just sharing these latest photos with you guys so you know how they look like now. Yun lang po hehe. Do you remember the first time you've seen them? When was it? What did you do!? :)
