iStudio Plus Levels Up iPhone 17 Midnight Launch

Had so much fun at iStudio Plus' iPhone 17 Midnight launch at the Bonifacio Highstreet grounds in BGC. Countless folks lined up early to make sure they get the much coveted iPhone 17 and the perks that come with it if you get it from iStudio Plus. 

BGC's B3 area was transformed into an activity center filled with various brands like HAVIT, Insta 360, EcoFlow, Union Bank who partnered with iStudio to make sure everyone gets an experience out of the launch even before the release of iPhone 17 began. Several performers like DJ Nico Yabut, artists Yoki and Kiyo performed on stage to the delight of patrons who stayed and partied for hours, and got prizes from booths inside the activity area. They also had coffee and fruit drinks given for free if you complete the passport and celebrities saying hi too. This includes artist Raki who partnered with iStudio, he certainly had talent and his art work and merch was a hit with everyone at the venue!

Angel Guardian, PBB Celebrity Collab alumnus AZ Martinez, Asian Cutie took their sweet time to participate in booths, and later went with us to unbox their very own iPhone 17. Here's a few videos we took when the clock struck 12!

Then we also saw the first person in line named Vanessa Marcelo who hails from BGC. She really waited online to sign up for the form and went there as customer number 1 which means aside from owning an iPhone 17, she'll be getting various products and apple services amounting to Php 70k+. This also happened in different tiers with other folks who also spent the day lining up and enjoying the fun party that iStudio Plus had at their BGC branch. 

If you want one, you should definitely follow their social channels to make sure when stocks become available, you can avail it from them. Who knows?! You might get perks like them too!

Teach Kids About Biodiversity Through MIND S-COOL Special

There exists a Biodiversity crisis and there's certainly no opportune time to teach kids about its dangers but now. If you don't know how, the Bonifacio Art Foundation Inc. and United States Agency for International Development have come together to bring you a special edition of MIND S-COOL TV. They also have put up a Biodiversity Crisis Escape Room which you can try, so you and your kids would be able to get hold of your role before tragedy strikes.

We got to experience the escape rooms earlier. It teaches you how each of us affects the balance between agriculture, aquaculture, the land we live in. This would be a good thing to do especially with young adults and kids. The activity costs Php 150 in Mind Museum, but may be free when brought to other areas.

It is ultimately a collaboration, of what you, your government, and other people could do to act on it. The Biodiversity Crisis Escape Rooms (BCER) would teach participants to work together in order to achieve goals and solve the crisis. This same setup will be done in different parts of the country including Subic, Puerto Princesa and Davao. Community leaders including decision makes are encouraged to join. The 3 rooms are actually connected, and they'd have to work together to solve it with different measures, each one needs to do their part.

A special about this will also be broadcasted on May 26th at 11am on. OnePH. This will also be replayed at 4:30pm on the same day. During the launch, Kathy Watchala of USAID Sibol and Maria Isabel Garcia of BAFI welcomed everyone and urged more people to come on dates indicated on posters. Yellow Cab Pizza Throws "BEST EVER PIZZA PARTY"

We arrived a bit early and saw a lot of people already inside the venue as Yellow Cab threw the "BEST EVER PIZZA PARTY" over at B3 Bonifacio High Street in BGC. In it, they introduced their newest product the "Half Moon Pizza".

Initially I thought this had something to do with the Lunar New Year but no, it was something they wanted to do so people could have a more personal sized serving of some of Yellow Cab's well loved pizza. And why not, much of us actually don't finish a whole pizza (and leave in the fridge) or sometimes, think that they wouldn't be able to afford one when out with friends or family. The half moon pizza actually stands on its own, not a halved pizza and was served hot off the oven! It only costs Php 159! 

Aside from good food, this BEST EVER PIZZA PARTY had several game booths where people won exclusive merch, take photos and win prizes from Yellow Cab. Add to that, an actual concert at the center stage with artists like Clara Benin and severely popular Lola Amour!

They just made your favorite pizza flavors into smaller and more affordable so you don't have to consume too much in one sitting and still enjoy your favorite flavors Pepperoni, Hawaiian, whenever you need to.

The place was also adorned with a poster designed by Raco Ruiz. Aside from that, they also had shirts and bags with the same theme made by Syndrome Supply (Anton and Iñigo). Designs of the products were in limited quantity. The music from Clara Benin and Lola Amour was just amazing and a fun way to start  the festivities.DJ Margachi also followed suit for those who stayed, fun times!

LG Takes Van Gogh Alive To Next Level at BGC Art Center

I've had the pleasure of studying about his life, and his illustrious works of art back in college, and yes, Van Gogh has certainly gone through generations. At the BGC Art Center, they're doing a display called Van Gogh Alive which has been raved by art lovers these past few days, and as a partner, technology and home brand LG is taking it to another level.   

Since it's a limited run, LG will make that multi sensory experience come to life with the various displays they have like the LG OLED 83 inch (OLED83C3PSA model) and the LG QNED 75 inch (75QNED80SRA) for those drawings, accompanied by immersive sound and acoustics, you'll feel like you're in a dream or inside the actual painting. If you're in the lobby, there's various LG 50 inch UHD TV's  (50UR8050PSB model) so you could see the merch being displayed after the whole experience.

VETS IN PRACTICE with Doc Nielsen Donato

If you're a pet love in the Philippines and don't know who he is, then you're probably under a rock. Meet Dr. Nielsen Donato, host of hit show "Born to be Wild" and managing partner and surgeon of VETS IN PRACTICE (VIP), a leading animal hospital located in Bonifacio Global City in Taguig. He also helps in Laguna Wildlife Park and Rescue Center in Pansol, Laguna. 

Doc Nielsen has always regarded his work as a blessing, his heart has always been with wild or domesticated animals. He has been in the industry for over 30 years, always making sure none of them get traumatized the minute they enter the animal hospital til they get well through treatments. This spurred from the need to take care of dogs, cats, birds and various exotic animals. Today, they already have 4 Animal Hospitals and 2 subsidiary clinics offering services in different parts of the country. In the past it was difficult to diagnose and treat animals since laboratories and surgery facilities were scarce. They have invested heavily in these to make sure proper and fast care would be available for our furry friends when they need it, especially where their locations are.

NADINE, BEA + More at the OPPO Inspriation Ahead Event

Super happy to see OPPO getting a little closer to lifestyle events as they held an "Inspiration Ahead" forum with speakers like stylists Pam Quinones and Daryl Chang, concert photographer to the stars Magic Liwanag, and Fashion and Style blogger David Guison. It was nice to see them share their expertise in their respective fields, but in a nutshell, it takes guts to be fashionable, it's okay to experiment, make amends with style mishaps in the past (and to just go ahead and try it). 

 

 

Leanne and Naara also provided needed entertainment in the middle of festivities, music from them was really super nice, a lot of people danced during their set. I'm a fan of their music now :)

Magic says "My inspiration starts the moment I wake up, shooting different people, I learned that it depends on how you feel. Experience for me is champ! As a photographer, I'm glad my wife isn't a content creator, I get to rest, capture moments, even if it's not Hollywood or international artists, I get to share my story. OPPO really helped me become pro active, because of its functionalities, from Reno to Find, you get excited to take photos and remain inspired anywhere."

David Guison says "I don't really think bout it so much nowadays, just dark, minimalist, things that you don't tend to see much, that's what I document. Knowing what you like is your style. It's nice to see people that hype you up, it helps because you get to say hi and show your personality. "

During the evening, they had Bea Alonzo on stage and talk about her own passions. She also shared her ways on finding inspiration on everything she does. She was extremely happy to see her fans on the grounds since late lunch time. That's dedication right there!

 

Then to make the evening even better, I was able to take a few minutes to talk to President NADINE LUSTRE who has been in the headlines these past few weeks. But of course, we didn't talk about THAT. I had to ask how she's been, and how she feels being trusted by OPPO all these years. It's been a while since I've sat down with her, so here, enjoy!

Nadine also has stressed how she loves her RENO line of phones which she's endorsing with OPPO, and for the tons of new phones that they have come out with in recent months. These men and women do inspire a lot of people, and sharing those experiences probably would make all of us see our efforts, that it's okay to take time. The Party Continues at Salvatore Cuomo & Bar Philippines

Joined a few friends in the blogging scape a few days ago at Salvatore Cuomo and Bar in GF Uptown Parade in BGC. It sits at the corner of 9th Avenue and 38th Street and is frequented by party goers this side of town. On Saturdays, DJ David Ardiente takes the lead and plays awesome songs that could be enjoyed by Millennials, Gen XYZ's and just about anyone who just wants to have fun.

Aside from the usual fare (of beer, wine and hard drinks), they've got really mean cocktails like Espresso Martini, Moscow Mule, Sangria, Aperol Spritz which you should definitely try.

I could picture this place as a launch pad for other bars around the area but I'm pretty sure after a few rounds of cocktails in this joint. you'll never want to leave and just enjoy the night with friends and family here.

Now to make sure you don't drink with an empty stomach, they've got several pizzas and antipasti you can enjoy while you hold your cocktail on your other hand. It's a great conversation starter, there are several single people right across the bar for that. This place gets pretty packed on the weekends so make sure you get here a bit early if you have dining plans. They also have a really mean Truffle Pasta, I didn't get to see it on the table anymore because it was that good.

Don't be sad as it'll all be a blur when you get home (don't drink and drive of course!). This place has good food, good drinks, just bring the companions or see people there. Take the trip to one of the hottest spots in BGC, and make that night an epic one at Salvatore Cuomo and Bar.

CROCS Opens Store at B7 Bonifacio High Street

The good looking guy just arrived at the new BGC branch of CROCS, our well loved footwear brand. It's been a while since we've covered an event physically and chances are, we're going to splurge a little bit since it's a great day to start summer festivities in Manila. Their call, is for you to tell your SUMMER STORY and this particular branch has all your unique Crocs Clogs in different colors and styles. The store is also huge you can roam around without bumping into anyone and the center is dedicated to a little treat we call JIBBITZ. They are charms you attach on the holes of your Crocs pairs and I loved every bit of it. I got myself a winter camo (Marble Clogs) colored pair and started picking 90's iconic symbols so I could personalize it.

They encourage this so as to make each pair unique and I love them about that. Loads of celebrities have also gone to the store including Crocs Ambassador AC Bonifacio, Patrick Quiroz, models and influencers from the metro.
