BINI and BGYO Hints International Gigs

BIG Plans were just announced for BINI and BGYO. This happened this afternoon during a mediacon with their management and Direk Lauren Dyogi of Star Magic.

Direk Lauren says "When they step on the world stage every Filipino will be proud of them. BINI and BGYO are really working hard, they're soldiers and they're part of Filipino youth that will be big, soon! We already have teasers for singles, it will be included on a new album. BGYO is going to have their The Baddest album out soon, new music videos, major events, trips abroad, concerts together as sibling crews and solo ones once things get better soon. They have invitations already to do it, hopefully sans restrictions it will happen." 

First international gig? Oh, these guys and gals are already packing their bags tonight (because of excitement). Direk adds "One Dream Concert of BINI and BGYO means they'll be back to back singing their songs, we'll see their stamina if they can do it. It's two different repertoir, probably sing around 40 songs and do collabs with other artists. BINI and BGYO are certainly ready for it." Direk Lauren also spills that they will be performing with a live band and collaborations, so that's huge!

GLOBALTRONICS Forges Partnership with JUMP Digital

I'm sure your mind must have drifted so many times on Edsa, C5 and looked up those huge billboards to see the Globaltronics brand somewhere and perhaps know how much they've been a huge part of the advertising and digital tech industry over the years. The affair was also witnessed by Globaltronics Chairman and CEO William Guido. So aside from the new look and logo, they also awarded top contributors and most loyal clients for 2017. Now that they've also partnered with JUMP Digital, they'll have PR and Digital requirements now as part of their folios and it would be easier for them to actually provide 360 degree services here and around the region which they regard as the next step.

Ayala Malls and BillboardPH Brings You PLAYSOUND

Hey music lovers! It's a nice afternoon isn't i? Well I passed by Trinoma Malls today and look at whay I found at thr Activity Center!

Yes! It's Billboard Philippines and Ayala Malls having an event called BillboardPH PlaySound showcasing their music playground which includes decades upon decades of music courtesy of Billboard, the one and only music authority.

Straight from the archives of the 60's, the sleek 70's, the pop 80's, the bands of the 90's and the lovely iconic singers of the 2000's, they have these represented in booths and let you also hear the sound from that genre with hi tech headphones and video monitors so you could learn a thing or two of music history. It has been evolving, you could see it in every booth and I am in love with what they had in the charts from 80's up until today!

Ayala Malls and Billboard PH also prepared several booths that take 360 degree photos, which they will print out and for you to take home.

It's a whole day of fun and it's not over yet! Come to the activity center and enjoy the little concert they prepared for us as Itchyworms, Sam Concepcion and Gracenote will be performing front and center!

I also saw Christian Bautista, QC Vice Mayor Joy Belmonte and VP of Ayala Malls Ms. Rowena Tomeldan join the opening ceremonies, so if your free come to Trinoma today! Ayala Malls will be doing this too in other malls (like 20-21 in Glorietta and Alabang Town Center) under their corporation so stay tuned!

BLUSH's Track UNDIVIDED Feat Snoop Dogg now #3 at the US Billboard Dance Charts!

Rockin the billboard charts isn't easy but look at what happened to one awesome group called BLUSH!

Breaking boundaries and shattering dance charts is just one of the few things this new girl group has accomplished in a short span of time. BLUSH as they are called never held back when they had big breaks one after another in Asia and elsewhere in the world. Now comes another feather in their hat as they got the #3 spot in the Billboard Dance Charts for their single called "UNDIVIDED". Watch this!

This track was produced by Darrell Brown (did the same for Keith Urban, Bon Jovi) and Steve Schnur (who worked with names like Florence + The Machine and Busta Rhymes) and mixed by Manny Marroquin (did it with Pink and Rihanna) so it wasn't too hard for them to have a sure fire hit right from the get go. From the impressive resumes of the people behind the scenes and these talented women; they are steadily climbing the charts with their brand of music. They are very reminiscent of other great girl groups but what sets them apart is their spunk and their individuality even if they are together.


Make sure you take note of Victoria, Natsuko, Angeli, Ji Hae, and Alisha's names as they counquer more milestones in the music industry. Coming from different countries like Hong Kong, Japan, the Philippines, Korea and India they will be representing this part of the world starting with a collaboration with the one and only Snoop Dogg for starters. They also opened for Justin Bieber in Hong Kong and in "So You Think You Can Dance" in the US and the reviews so far have been phenomenal. Make sure that when you hit the stores check out their album and watch out for more tracks as they come out of the airwaves soon!

Sports Lateral Drift Championship EASTWOOD

I am really impressed on how Eastwood City has hosted the one and only pro-am drifting competition in the Philippines. There were only several entries because this is still such a young sport. The auto tradeshow banner stands were quite prominently placed throughout the venue and people from all over the country went in to watch their favorite local speedsters. I only watched these things on TV and Movies. My photography friend brought me to the stands one afternoon and since then I was so hooked!

I like the thought of seeing cars swerve literally by a hair strand missing posts, walls, tires, posters and on some instances people. You just watch at awe on how they were able to manage driving those small spaces in between turns. I was ecstatic because if you think about the panning shots you get while these monster vehicles drive by it was doubly hard doing it at night. They did not have ample amount of lighting but if you get that perfect shot it is just well worth it! I managed to even take the billboard home with me right after my favorite part of the race which is the tandem run. The two cars were side by side trying to outrun and out turn the other one. Imagine those same cars burning rubber with someone pressuring them from behind. It was just awesome to see this monstrosity in action! I knew it was the best thing to see that day when I saw it on the posters!

Chris Brown tops Billboard Charts for 2008

If it rains it pours... this is just a great year for Chris Brown as he was just named Billboard's Top Artist for the year 2008. This was the same feat he did back in 2006 so it really should not be a surprise. Artist's rankings are determined by album sales in Billboard. This also include mp3 or digital downloads, radio airplay and Live audio streams. No. 3 on the list was Rihanna, his girlfriend that sang hits like "Take A Bow" and "Disturbia," which was co-written by him also. Top five was my personal favorite Taylor Swift. Kumagcow congratulates Chris Brown for a great year, and more record breaking albums next year too! ^_^ It ain't gonna stop there of course!
