BLACK RIDER Readies for FINALE WEEK on GMA

Saturday, July 13, 2024

Direk Rommel Penesa was so happy about how Black Rider turned out. It has exceeded expectations, and the long time it's been on TV plus the ratings are proof of it. We got to talk to the cast and the people behind the show this afternoon. Thing is, Black Rider will have it's FINALE Week on July 22nd, and there are big things happening in the show.

Ruru Madrid says "I have learned a lot from doing this series, starting from LOLONG, then this one, it feels good to see how their kids actually emulate my character. It's what I always put as a goal, I know what to do in the next projects. In the past, I only dream about it but now they all send me videos, of them living their hero dreams. Eversince, I've always wanted to become an actor, to achieve that and see people dream like me, doing this series, I hope to do a film in the future. I also want to Direct, as I've been watching Direk Rommel Penesa do it. I hope the network trusts me even more in the future. Working with Yassi was quite easy, she really collaborative. She asks the questions to make the scenes better. My character made me realize that we go through things in life, but it's up to us to be consumed by the depression, he needed help and got it from the people around him. He wouldn't survive without them, and that's what I learned about this character. Everyone can be a hero, without super powers, you can help and people can be inspired from that. If we have a book 2, I hope Elias gets out of the tiring vengeance trail. Black Rider needs a change, to fight for others, the small things he can do everyday."

Yassi Pressman says "It's been a roller coaster ride, to my Black Rider family, Vanessa was a joy to do. She's something I've never done before, she loves her family, and with the new revelations, there's just so many emotions to do because I have amnesia, I have to do so many things because there are people brainwashing her. For anything, the experiences I've had with the people will always be cherished. I would say this has really shown what I could do as an actress. With the help of good script writing, there's heart, love, friendship, it's a colorful life. I've always loved working with Ruru because we have done Video City. He also helps me improve what we do, because he's a real good actor. I have a few things lined up this year and next year, hopefully I could tell you about it soon. In life the challenges we face, we always should be positive. You need to find people who can help, especially the important ones, follow your heart, listen to yourself more than anything. Smile, put that energy out there, be kind."

Jon Lucas adds "Calvin Magallanes won't exist without the help of other actors. The Director also reminds me much of who he is, portraying him is really challenging. My Papa Sir Raymond Bagatsing really told me about playing villains, and the attack is different. Their help and support is instrumental, they take out a lot out of me. Calvin is a really tough person, he wants to fight for what he feels is right. He is just a little hot headed, but he's someone that gives it all. I will miss a lot of people, even before we were launched, I felt I wouldn't be doing much without this. I really had to learn the ropes, from writers, Director, the actors, I will miss them all. I thought this was going to run til December. They gave me a lot of things to think about. Maybe in the next saga, there will be a lot of women empowerment line. A woman by his side, maybe something fun with the story."

Herlene Budol says "The work with Empoy is hard, when you look at him, you can't be serious and I lose character because I am a fan of him. A little move, a little conversation, I laugh at him. Chemistry wise, I enjoy our moments together, we really have to make landi when we are on set. When I finished Magandang Dilag and guested here, I thought it was just a short stint. I think the impact this gave me was huge, because the action sequences are hard. The artists are also big, I'm having separation anxiety already. I learned a lot to listen with co actors, to focus because there are a lot of things I had to understand what the Director wanted me to do. The blocking was another thing, you have to dedicate a lot. I still have a lot in the near future, but couldn't say it yet. You'll have a lot of things to look forward with Budol. My fights with Hector makes me so drained at the end of the day. I feel it physically and emotionally. I take it home sometimes. Aleck Bovick tells me a lot where her slaps would land, I adapt a lot of techniques from her and do it on other scenes."

Empoy says "I didn't really have a hard time doing this because my characters are fun, and the people I work with are so nice. When I wake up, I just pray, clean my teeth, look at the script, wear my Black Rider wardrobe and that's it."

Raymond Bagatsing says "Playing Senor Edgardo according to the script is both intriguing and fascinating. As the story went along, he didn't want to become that guy, because his life is hard, and I trust the process of letting the script reveal where my character would go to. It's a collaboration, it's something that I don't realize later on. It's a beautiful set, actors, crew and staff, I think that's how my character bloomed in the story. I can only wish he be happy later on, but I don't really know what will happen to him in the TV series. As Edgardo, he kinda accepts his fate, that's how he is. He doesn't look for pleasure with other people. Elias being his son, and his other son, plus reconciliation with Alma, he deserves to be happy in the next scenes."

The plan is to close the stories of the characters. It's going to be realistic according to head writer Erwin Bravo. If you are hoping for a next season, it looks positive. The stories will be continued especially for the main story. It's going to be as Filipino themed as possible, it's the promise of Black Rider. Make sure you watch the finale week starting on the 22nd of this month.

This is under GMA Public Affairs, and from the looks of it... they're going to have more programs in the pipeline that's waiting to be discovered!

The Greatest Love Ends in 3 Weeks

Sunday, April 02, 2017

We're at The Greatest Love finale presscon today. And it looks like they're ending the show in 3 weeks. Sad news indeed!

Joshua Garcia says "I am really thankful to be part of the show. It has brought upon attention to a degenerative disease that doesn't choose age, brain activity, as this still has no cure. I will miss everyone, the management, staff and stars. I wish I could still get to work with them after the show. I have two Moms, like Ms. Dimples and Ms. Sylvia, and I want that to remain."

Aaron Villaflor added "I don't even say I love you to my Mom and Dad before this show and it has changed me, in a way that I do always say I love you to them now in a regular basis. I was sad to see it'll only be 3 weeks before our story ends. We're happy that our shots work, even the revisions of the writers. We know how hard it was for them to work at this. We knew what we were getting ourselves into even before the show so in some way, the HATE was kinda expected. They have to know though that we are actors. I will miss the off cam moments, all the live instagram updates we do while on set, these people are my greatest love and I hope they connect with Paeng and feel sorry if they also are in the same situation. From black, he went to gray and now white Allegre and I'm thankful and blessed because Paeng had a really interesting journey."

Andi Eigenmann says "My Mom said I changed a lot because I don't even say po or opo in texts, and I do now. She's also a fan of the show so it was just lovely to see people's reaction while the show was going on. Everybody who's in TGL is happy because we finally have something that works on Philippine TV. I now see what my priorities are, it's family. Everything happens for a reason, even our partners and children would visit us and have fun the set, it helped built my relationship with my child and boyfriend. It helped me see things clearly."

Dimples Romana says "This show affected me so much that it changed my relationship with my Mom. I say I LOVE YOU more to her now that she thinks I'm too clingy, and at first she even thought it wasn't me. I had to hate myself while doing Amanda and I had to push myself to be as real as possible. I asked myself a lot of times but it happens and I had to do it. The whole point of the show is teach and touch people. We bully each other a lot if we can't say the lines, that's how supportive they are haha. Thank you for this role that has been given to me. Before a scene, they revise things a lot of times and we had to make sure it touches a lot of people, and we play with that. We don't want to bear the weight so much, we're tired after a scene but we keep the set happy because we need to do that. We read all the feedback, I even get threats (her kids included too) but the writers have redeemed the character and they made sure they fix that. This is real because someone guilty of it tweeted me last night and admitted she's an Amanda no matter how evil she is."

The show's star Ms. Sylvia Sanchez says "Thank you for letting me be recognized. All the awards and accolades I got would not be impossible without you all! I don't think a mother's love would be gone, but there are times people should do tough love. It'll make them look at people with respect. I want to make sure my kods are safe, they're okay and just have good health, happiness, and a great life. This is our passion and we learn a lot in the show, but we stand to tell the story of the Allegre family. Everyday that I portray Gloria I sometimes have to erase her because I carry the character even when I'm already home. I just stand there and look dazed, and we need to snap out of it. I remember my scene with Z, I cried but I didn't have to because I was showing symptoms. We have more of that, you have to be ready."

The Greatest Love is shown in the afternoon primetime block of ABSCBN right after The Better Half and you'll have to see them in their last 3 weeks. You'll discover this is more entertainment, this is real emotions, real love for parents, siblings and put yourself in these situations as they do happen in real life.

Be My Lady On its Last Week!

Friday, November 18, 2016

Having been able to watch the show quite consistently for 10 months get me a little excited about how this happy story ends. Loving Erich Gonzales is not a chore, but more of a joy to do because I'm telling you, among the stars that ABSCBN has on their roster, she's the most down to earth. I couldn't say that to other stars I know personally.

Anyway, I'm also excited about what will happen with Phil and Pinang's story now that their wedding is already happening. This chemistry between Erich and Daniel is just undeniable and even after being tried a couple of times by other networks, they remain on top because of good reason, they remained to be that feel good family-concentric program they started with in the beginning. Erich quirps "I'm grateful and blessed to be part of a show that brings families together and that exactly is why we're trying to do even better to tell the story of the Crisostomos even at trying times."

Here's the EXCLUSIVE video they showed us during the event. This is the Finale trailer. Bring tissues if you're about to cry!

The series will also be shown in Kazakhstan, Myanmar and Africa in 2017 and it'll surely touch more lives in the coming months. We hope they'll get positive feedback from those regions too. This finale week will still get viewers hooked as some anticipated trials will still haunt the newly weds. Will this make them? Or break them? Make sure you watch Be My Lady on their finale week 11:30AM right before SHOWTIME and afternoon primetime shows

Here's some snippets of the FUN press conference held earlier. Hope you like this!

Still love you Erich!

Yagit's Farewell and Thank You Party

Friday, July 24, 2015

Good things must come to an end. That's exactly what Yagit's run has been like and we've seen them grow from the time they had their final audition on GMA a few months ago. Now, they've delivered a story that has captured the lives of 4 different children, their families and the community... And ending tomorrow afternoon, sadly.

Just like you, I am wondering why the series had to end despite its high ratings as compared to the original one which lasted years. Though I am glad that it looks like they're not just ending this by saying goodbye, they're holding a "thank you" party for kids at the Research and Study Center for Children in Quezon City. The kids say that this is their way of giving back because you have supported them all throughout the show.

Jimwell Ventenilla aka Tomtom on the show says "Of course I'm going to be sad, but I'm happy to see that kids are experiencing what I did, they're not that different than me. This program has helped me financially, I've dreamed of this for a long time but I know I still have to go back. This is our way of saying thanks. They also helped us buy stuff for our home, I now have appliances that we even won in raffles, it's like it's not just the show, luck definitely came our way. I'll miss these guys for sure, but I'm looking forward to work with them again, and I hope that happens very soon. I grew up open minded and even if ends, there will be big things to see and look forward to."

They hosted around 60-70 kids and Yagit got their production to help all because they know they owe it to you, their loyal kapuso viewers. They played games, gave them gifts and some supplies for the RSCC. I could see the kids faces light up just seeing the cast of Yagit, as they probably have seen them in the show too. They also participated in the distribution of food, small gifts before they said thanks to them after the event. It was a good way to end the show, well, that's tomorrow so if you want to watch their final episode, it's on GMA's afternoon primetime. See Jocelyn, Tomtom, Ding and Elisa one last time as they end the show that will be replaced by new soap Buena Familia.

Ciao!

Ending "Dading" Part 2: Interview with Chynna Ortaleza and Glaiza De Castro

Monday, September 15, 2014

Chynna Ortaleza and Glaiza De Castro

Chynna's character on the show is Celine Enriquez. She's a bit villain, a bit understanding and a bit more flawed too. She's the fiance of Joemer and try as much as she can to understand him. Met with the fact that she couldn't bear a child nor keep her soon to be husband on a leash seems to be like a nightmare for this control freak. Joemer is the only one who can break her down, and she let's him do it countless times. When he leaves, a last ditch effort to forgive him and forget what happened turned mighty sour in the end. She starts taking claim to Joemer's kid Precious, and we have to think about where that goes.

Chynna was still as bubbly as the first time I've seen her on TV. All the quirky things she does, she's still at it... it was even amplified when she got to work with Glaiza De Castro. She mentioned when she initially saw Glaiza on TV, she says she was weird... and she'll absolutely get along with her... like glue. When asked about what project she thinks they'll be doing next (since she wants to work with them again) she joked about it and said "adult films" (to say that nicely) then everyone laughed while we were there. Maming or anything that would be just with their current artists. Glaiza said just as long as they are together, they can do it (then they laughed it off again!).

Glaiza says this is the first time that she had a friendship this deep with a cast on any show she's done in the past. They're all connected on iMessage groups, and the stuff that they send to each other no matter how weird it is, somehow makes sense... even if it doesn't make sense. It's not even normal for them to be serious, or to be too sensitive to jokes or any issues. It's like an extremely random room but they completely understand each other.

Glaiza also says that Benj is really someone she could talk to, even in terms of physical training. He taught her how to eat healthy and even started eating cereals regularly, small things, small things that actually make you remember them. That's exactly what she'll miss about him.

Chynna is one person that gets how weird Glaiza is. Her dark side, she understands it all. She's not the absurd type, they always understand each other and you can't see that with most people. This is the same reason why she appreciates their friendship. Glaiza says that Gabby is like the bestfriend and husband all in one. The genuine concern, she really felt it with Gabby. The consistency and their connection on and off screen is what she'll miss most. Chynna says they are so blessed to have a show, but more blessed with the people she's working with. It's her first time to to have people from one show be like this and she knows they'll progress more even outside the set. Even after Dading, she hopes they will be more close than what they are right now.

Chynna mentions that Benjamin is the kind of person that is so sensitive. He knows when Chynna is down, when she feel frustrated at times. She doesn't even have to tell him. He's the person who will go to you and hug you if he sees that you need it. He's going to make you feel like he's gonna be there for you. That helps a lot when they're in a scene or just work because they're like husband and wife too in this project. Plus the fact that she knows now that somebody is passionate about words, and literature and things like that. I can talk to him about these things. Glaiza and Chynna gets always checked when they need anything and genuinely asks them for it. It's not often to experience that from co-actors.

Chynna is happy that Glaiza and her worked together. She admires her work. She's surprised that it's not only work but everything that they jive together. She's always so true, it's rare to find that nowadays in showbiz. She will really miss how genuine she is.

Chynna couldn't find the words to say who Gabby is for her during this whole stint. She says he's like the anchor. He also taught her a lot of things to become a better person and not just being an actor. His love, they didn't doubt it at all on any time they did this series. He's always there for them. The immense amount of love he gives to the cast, is unquestionable. Sometimes Chynna feels she could never even give back as much, and adds that he's that kind of person that can do that... then she asks for a hug with him during the interview.

Gabby Eigenmann says "Honestly, there are only a few words that I can say, but so many words in my heart. What I want to say is, the best thing for me is that.. I've worked with many people, many other stars, but this is where I only became myself. Usually in showbiz, you only put your best foot forward. They allowed me to take care of them, they allowed me to be me. With Ben, I never just found a friend, I found a brother. When you say friend, you can label that but what I want is something that would be there for you. Everyone in my family can describe him as "cool". If they keep on saying that I'm an anchor, Ben is like the Captain. They think I'm the leader but Ben does the strategy, in this industry, issues in life, he can handle that.

Glaiza, never in my life have I seen anyone like a good actress. She's also the first person that I found connection with, as individuals on and off cam. It's so light to work with her. Her passions in music, in arts, she pushes for that. I love Ben, I love Glaiza, I love them both.

Chynna, I couldn't understand our relationship anymore because we know each other since we were little. Same school, same crowd, she would talk to the right people, like us if she gets frustrated, and I like that part. She's so passionate about work. Even if she was barred to do a love scene in this project, she still did it because she knew it was part of the story. She's a lot of things, and I love her for that.

Up until the last scenes and last taping days we had, I told them to make the most out of it. It's one of the rare casted shows where we were handpicked, experimented, even if we're from different shows, who knew that if they combined us... that it'll be this big. It's not because Carding is the lead star, it was never that, it's because of everyone here. I needed that, knowing that they needed me too."

The show is about to end in a few weeks. It'll be an emotional roller coaster just like what it is everyday in that show. I'm not ashamed to have been a fan of this show and dedicate this two part post to this well loved program from GMA. I hope they would get to work in another project like they wished to in the interview. They deserve it after getting the rave reactions they got from the viewing public.

Ending "Dading" Part 1: Interview with Gabby Eigenmann and Benjamin Alves

Gabby Eigenmann, Chynna Ortaleza, Glaiza De Castro and Benjamin Alves.

If your afternoon after Eat Bulaga and Half Sisters is good, then it'll only be complete when you watch this show Dading. It's a monicker used to connote Dad and "Bading" which is a street term in the Philippines for gay. It talks about the life of a Gay Father, his wife, her ex boyfriend (who's also the biological Father), the current girlfriend, their friends and the cute little daughter where their lives spin on.

I take my time everyday to actually watch them. I love the show genuinely because it's like life. It's not just about the gay guy, the thing delves more on relationships, on family and how it is to be family. The series is about to end though, and that hit the stars of this show right in the heart.

Gabby Eigenmann

This was a pretty difficult interview because we were going to talk about the show's ending. We met Gabby Eigenmann who played Ricardo "Carding" D. Gonzales or the main character named Dading. He was crying. Why? It must be the long hours of shooting, it must be because the last scene demanded crying, much of it though is that he didn't want the show to end. He didn't want to see the people he worked with these past few months to go. The bond they formed while shooting was something he never thought would occur. Let alone happen in this lifetime. This is Gabby's first lead role in a TV series and he's proud to say that he did all he can to do justice to the life of the character he's portraying. That, was the vibe I got from him during this interview.

About ending the show, he says "It was a good run, we accepted it. As the say, "All good things must come to an end". We'd rather end the show leaving a mark, still heard, rather than having a plateau and start going down on the ratings then decide to cut it. We're finishing the whole season, it wasn't extended or wasn't cut short. We're just finishing what's stated on the contract which is good, so in spite of the feed back, not just us but the whole line up of afternoon programs... it did pretty good. We're happy, we're happy but we are somehow sad because we've come to know each other more, we've come to like be really close to each other and when it comes to the scenes, it just comes out so automatically. We're as if we were the real characters already... that's what I'm going to miss the most in this show."

When asked about how he fared as the lead actor on this show, he says "Oh really?! I don't know. I've only acknowledged fulfillment amongst people who are interested in watching the show. I get from them the most genuine comments and feedback where I can acknowledge and say that I did pretty good. I really didn't expect that I'd even have haters, or people to contradict the role I'm playing but I was sort of happy that they thought that I was really gay. Just the thought of that was a plus factor for me that I was portraying this character wholeheartedly. Something that I took to heart, that people already had doubts about my sexuality (mentions Gabby Eigenmann must be gay etc.) so I didn't want to own everything because it's not just me on the whole show, but the whole cast, my co-actors, the Director, so if I were to speak  for all of us... we did pretty good.

If I were gonna judge, not myself but all of us, we really did good and it feels so good too. It is sad, but it's good because we can even feel that love internationally, that a lot of people are waiting for this in other countries. That feeling, where you get fans from Toronto, from Dubai, it's just so fun because the last time I heard that level of praise was in Munting Heredera, but this was on a different level... it's one of the reasons why I'm going to miss this show. This is also the first full length show where I had to portray a gay man and it was automatic when the camera rolls, the memories of it just makes me happy. It's because of the people who watch the show.. I give all the credit to you."

When asked aside from portraying a gay man, what other things have you realized while playing this role, he answers "Know them more. I observe, I have friends who are gay. I talk to them, I go out with them, but portraying this role made me realize that they come from a different place and I can feel that it's not just about love, a partner, it's the love of child, a partner, they are very passionate about what they want to achieve in this world... not just their life... to change the world where they would all be accepted. So it's like fighting for equality and treatment because let's admit it, there still are some areas where it's not fair for them. It's an eye opener for people who want to come out, to express themselves, to ultimately be who they are, and what they are." It's part of the reason why he's going to miss this show too much and miss the people he worked with.

Benjamin Alves

I've been able to talk to Benjamin Alves a couple of times now and he's a very good guy. He's like the perfect husband material in real life (for most ladies), something that you can probably take home to your Mom and present as your soon to be husband. In the series though, his character Joemar Rodriguez is a bit different. He's what you call flawed, for the right word. He left his ex-girlfriend pregnant and had Gabby Eigenmann's character take care of it. Then he comes back and instigated becoming the kid's (named Precious) father. Other than that, he also took the chance to rekindle the relationship with his ex-girlfriend of whom was already married with another guy, thinking that love could always get away with it. Then comes the reality of marriage, their existing relationships, and the one who matters most... the kid. It just was complicated and I don't think it's going to end well.

That's Joemar. We asked Ben if the thought of ending the show has sunk in already. He said "Yeah, I kinda wish it wasn't. Somehow, I had that longing of the program not to end. Very rarely that you think of that, because while you're working, you get tired, sometimes you just got to take a break, but I'm always with them... Gabby, Chynna, Glaiza, Precious, Gardo and other stars of the show.. our dynamics are different, we went from the other taping location just now and we all went here together in one van when we could have even just used our individual cars. We all rode together. We could have actually rested but we're different, we want to be together. We had early dinner and when we came back Gabby was like "I was looking for you guys!".. we have a bond like that... and that's what makes it sad.. but that's few more weeks and it's all going to end. The bond and the show, you can't replace that. We'll have other shows but you know... it's very rare that you get the same cast, it's very rare that you get the same people on the same show and that's kind of sad

How was it playing Joemer? You probably have gotten lots of slack and haters or mixed feedback because it looked like you were destroying their relationship.

He said "I even tweeted sometime and I was like "Wala bang may gusto kay Joemer?!" (Is there anyone who likes Joemer?) or the Joemer and Beth pair but a while ago when I was getting punched by Gabby's character, people online were already saying he was stupid, he should die, words on that level... that's funny.. some now try to understand his situation. The writers did a good job on putting him not just on the "lust" part of the story, but he has feelings, he's not selfish, immoral, and they do have a past. If there are a lot of haters, that's okay... that's the whole purpose, that's the reason Joemer is there. That's the reason why there's a conflict with him, Carding, Beth and Precious. If that wasn't the reaction, then I would have a problem, I would have to question if mine was effective, our acting and dynamics were effective and if we are giving justice to the role. The writers have done a good job with the consistency.

It's not just the typical story of someone getting kidnapped, holding ransom, nothing like that. It was very human. That's very rare to see on an afternoon soap for one, in that pace. They weren't gonna do it too extravagant or too melodramatic, so we see we are giving it justice because there are people out there who really get mad at us. It's so okay, you're doing your character and the end results not always to be liked. The goal is to still keep an angle where people would still be able to understand me. I'm just doing it truthfully and whatever the reaction is, I'm okay with that." then I told him you might have just convinced them far enough that you are Joemer so you are doing a pretty good job at that if they react that way. He agreed. "It's a sign. Like being called your characters name, especially towards the latter end of the show. People have always been trying to ask me about Beth. Trying to find if I was with her. Sometimes I wish I had a day off but often they attach us to the roles we get, even on Twitter or Instagram. The demographics are also nice because I see older people, some young ones, some ask about the parental aspect, some young ones relate to the "kilig" (fondness) with Beth and Joemer especially on the flashbacks. It's so nice to see there's a wide range of Filipinos that watch us in Dading.

Did they already tell you about Dading being showed in other countries?

He says "That would be nice. I wonder what they'll call it in other countries? You know where the term comes from right? If it's like Dad and Gay, like dagay (then we laughed it off). Hopefully we can also go there. They usually bring the artists when they launch shows like that in other countries, that alone would be so special... to have a vacation there, to also promote it.... that would be very nice. The product that you put out doesn't end locally, still alive, and that's what you really want for your show.. a conversation and think that it gets recall from people, from the viewers.

With the success of your show, would you think there would be another show that would be able to top this one?

He says "You always pray that there's bound to be one. Not just my show but anybody else's show, I just want the next show to be more successful. I think the one replacing us is "Ang Lihim ni Alessandra" (Allesandra's Secret) and I hope that they do better than us, that's always the case. There's like no thinking that our show is better than this one or even if they did a show with the same theme as this I wouldn't mind if it would do better than ours. You want it to progress, for everyone even if it's not on the show. We are in only one network. So that's the one thing I want to happen with the show replacing us and yeah I'm confident that it would be able to do that. There's so much story to be told and in that sense, you know GMA has great actors, writers and directors. I just want all the shows to do well."

Do you already have another show after this one?

He says "Not yet, or I might not have been told yet. We'll cross that bridge when we get there. I'm not the type who expects but I do look forward to have another one. I just want to be debriefed, some time off. Although it's almost Christmas and it's always nice to be working at that time, but usually new shows would come January. It would be nice to know but if not, that's okay. I've been very blessed. This show came out from a cancelled one, so I think whatever happens, it always works for everyone. Everyone gets a shot at having work and be seen on TV. I have no quirks that I will have another one and I'm going to be ready for it."

What would you want this particular show to leave behind or folks would remember?

Ben says "There's a lot of stories to be done like a show. It doesn't always have to be in this theme. Our whole show, I hope it opens a lot of doors. There are a lot of ideas. I hope people become more open and receptive to other stories, like MHL or this show. I'm sure people wouldn't have thought telling this story on public TV. It's just new on TV, but you know we've heard these stories before.. I don't know how to say it but there's a lot out there. I just want that to leave its mark. If there's a character that they would need to remember, it's probably Gabby's, like Dading. Everything's there. Gabby even on Day 1 was just so open about it. Even when I came into set he was like taunting me like he was Dading himself. To have to be so naked to do that, to have to be so truthful to that character...that's not easy. If you see the sentiments and they pity Carding a lot, I hope that stays with them, with people. I hope that leaves a mark that when they see Gabby, they somehow see Dading. That's good enough for me even if they don't remember Joemer. At least, I was part of that show."

"GMA has been very good picking the right people into the right kind of projects. If you're spending a lot of time, on people, on characters, they were very right in doing that and it's a good thing to choose the right people at the right time. I'm not going to be upset if a lead role would not happen for me the next time because my time will come. It's so toxic to think like that. I've been very blessed with the projects they've given me. If they have other plans for me in the future, but if not that's okay." he adds.

Ben would miss Gabby's inspiration. For him, Gabby's always in the right mood for them. He's like the Dad, the head of the pack. He's going to miss that because it's different when Gabby's with them. He's essential to how they move around all day especially when they have long taping hours. Even if they started at 6AM (we even saw how stressed they were) and it was already like 8pm that evening, it was just like they woke up because Gabby is like that. Ben says it's going to be sad to not see each other, of not having him around.

Ben would also miss Chynna a lot, and how she takes care of them all. Chynna brings cupcakes to the set really often and she hangs around or text even if she's not scheduled for that day. She gives importance to them as friends, not just co actors. That sets her apart from other people.

Glaiza is also the closest to Benj's age group. The things they talk about are very light even if they often fight on scenes in the series. It helps a lot that right after a scene, that they're not like their characters because she keeps it in tune. They are on the same page, same wavelength. He says he'll surely miss her for that.

We got to sat down with them later that evening and asked Chynna about the show ending in a couple of weeks. She bluntly said it was like S#!T, mostly sad. She probably felt like Gabby, Ben and Glaiza. Glaiza also said that they're probably all experiencing SEPANX (separation anxiety) and didn't feel being without each other in the show

Stay tuned for part II of this interview. Posting it in a bit!
