SISTERS Welcome New Sis MEGAN YOUNG

She's still so beautiful and has a certain glow after giving birth to a baby boy, she's the one and only Miss World 2013 Megan Young. She is the new Sis of popular feminine hygiene brand Sisters manufactured by Megasoft Corporation.

Megan says "If I'm going to be honest, I didn't get to take care of myself after giving birth. Mikael was there when I was getting overwhelmed, and that reassurance from him got all my Mom guilt out of my system. Sometimes you just want to take care of everything but we have to learn to share the responsibilities. Now I get to taking care of myself and my baby. I always say I am a strong follower, but when he got injured I saw how I was able to lead. Sisters is a brand I truly believe in, and use too. We're happy to share this to other folks, my management knows about it."

She adds "My last project was Royal Blood, but I'm excited to take on new projects because now we can do content, a show with all of us together. For now there will be one parent with Leon, we want him to grow extra happy. We're mostly at home taking care of Leon, we have minimal time to go out but plan to travel with everyone soon because my baby already has his passport"

Megan wasn't briefed yet but so eager to be part of the school visits they do to teach those of age about feminine hygiene. She knows through experience how they often are too shy to be seen using pads which is a normal occurrence. This is also part of their efforts on Sister's 25th year anniversary. You will see Megan on activations, posters and commercials on their socials and TV.

KIM CHIU Gets Renewed with SISTERS

I guess it's true for Kim Chiu to say that when it rains, it pours! She's unstoppable as she gets another feather to her hat as she gets renewed with Megasoft Hygienic Products Incorporated's brand Sisters Napkins and Pantyliner. 

This coincides with Megasoft's 24th Anniversary. Aside from the endorsements, they have spruced up the packaging on the premiere product line. The event was also attended by Megasoft Vice President Ms. Aileen Choi Go whom we've seen a couple of times during events from their brand.

She laments "Kim has the same values as us at Megasoft. You've seen her doubly work hard in the different projects she's in including shows like her recent hit series Linlang and What's Wrong with Secretary Kim. During out small talk while shooting the material for Sisters, you could feel her enery and how she lights up the set whenever she's there. She's very fun to be with, and still stays quite humble, and always takes good care of herself. Needless to say, she's admired by countless people who know her across the country!"

Kim was ecstatic and said "I am so thankful, honored, that Megasoft trusted and believed in me eversince. Being part of their brand and their advocacy of empowering women across the country, I'm excited on what we could do more this year. It's another partnership with Sisters!"

Kim will be part of Sisters efforts as they take their different roadshows and events in Metro Manila, Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. They continue to educate women about hygeine. All of these are very meaningful initiatives which they will also talk about on Kim Chiu's vlog. They will also make sure that their products will be affordable, but still maintain quality at the forefront. This is just the beginning of another fruitful year!

The Skin Magical Caravan: Helping Communities

I saw Ghie Pangilinan on the cover of Experience Travel Living mag a couple weeks ago (which I also happen to have an article about Antipolo), the woman who owns Skin Magical, a very successful beauty brand in the Philippines. The young CEO has already made a success out of her brainchild in 4 years and wanted to actually share her success with other people.

As Filipinos still look for the easiest and most affordable way to stay and look nice, it is evident that this market segment is growing because everybody wants to take care of themselves. Recently, the beauty magnate started 2020 with the Skin Magical Learn and Earn Caravan + Skin Magical Cares (as part of her CSR efforts). A total of 150 individuals from her own community in Morong, Rizal where she taught how they too could start their businesses and a little brief on how to do online selling. This includes regular joes, mothers, just about anyone who wanted to make a living. 

Ms. Ghie Pangilinan says “My goal is to share my business to a lot of people. I give them advice on how to succeed in this field and how to treat clients like friends. I also shared my story and how this wife of an OFW made it in the beauty industry. It takes a lot of patience, hard work and honesty.”

The caravan also went on in other places like Bulacan, Quezon City, Pampanga, Caloocan, Laguna and also featured a live selling “Gandang Palaban Reseller” game where participants won reseller packages. This February, they will conduct more in Nueva Ecija, Zambales, Tarlac and Bataan. They have also conducted relief operations during the Batangas crisis where a lot of people were displaced by the Taal Volcano eruption. They helped 400 families and continue to do so in the weeks after. 

Aside from these activities, Ghie Pangilinan is going to have her Skin Magical book and brochure published via ABS-CBN Publishing within the year. She will be sharing her success story to more people in hopes to inspire them to work hard and achieve what she has had in the last few years. That’s just awesome to see her help and lead by example, I’m gonna try the products this month and hope it does wonders!

Young JV Is The New Megasoft Ambassador

It looks like a lot of things are coming to the artist called Young JV. This is his first endorsement, and it came in a perfect time now that he's attained quite a lot in his education, as Megasoft finds that appealing.

Discovering the Science of Looking Good with Nivea Men

I've been a skeptic but this one makes sense. A few weeks ago we were invited to an event in Makati to witness Nivea Men's take on how to discover the science of looking good. I mean, is there really a science to it? Don't you just get born and get that from genes and stuff? I always thought it was just whatever the one above gave you and you're just stuck with it. In the venue, they kind of explained to us that uhmm - there is kind of a science to it. The things you wear, the things you do, the things you bring to a handshake or talking to other people, they've got an explanation and what effect it has to other parties. This is real, and backed by research so listen up!

Something simple, when you shave these days, you probably use shaving gels or soap just to cover your beard or growing mustache. The thing is, there's anti irritation shaving gels you can use every time you need to shave. If you get bumps and nicks every instance you glide through that blade on your face, then you should consider putting this on first before you do shave. I personally like this and if I don't get the original one I like (other brand) this is the next one on my list. (sorry I have to be honest). This is a lot cheaper though so in tough times that I need something affordable but quality to use inside the shower, Nivea Men answers that.

For those who get break outs, Nivea Men has this anti acne oil control facial foam which you can use when you wash your face. I don't get that anymore but I do sometimes get oily. When I need to freshen up before an event, this is something good. Just make sure you wash it off very well because the last thing you would want is residue. Plus you won't look like you're too shiny when you're putting it on. I know you get my point. We don't have to look like we've eaten lechon right after putting it on our lips :)

The Nivea Men Invisible Black and White Spray Deodorant on the other hand will get you that fresh smell without turning your white clothes into corners with yellow stains, or black clothes into something with white residue. That's just nasty. We shouldn't be caught looking like that. The Pore Minimiser Volcanic Mud Foam can be put on every night, so those pores of yours become smaller. You won't get dirt on your face, makes sense? The Oil Control thing also comes in small canisters like that, perfect for travels. If you're just going out for a weekend, or for business, that would be good no?

For those who want more effect,try the Pore Minimiser with Extra Whitening. Make sure you also apply it on your neck though because the last thing you need is a super white face and a discolored neck! I've seen people do that LOL!

There's also a dry stick, and the cool kick. If you're a little sensitive on deodorant sprays, that would be a better alternative no? I think the point of this event is, you are already a man, you know you're clean but there are tons of products out there in the market that can really help keep it that way the whole day. Science? Yes you can say that, there are tons of things that do make us be a little better than the others. Knowing what to do in certain situations would give us the edge. Strip Manila and Browhaus Launches Gift of the Tropics Coconut Wax

Went to 71 Gramercy a couple of nights ago to attend the Strip Manila and Browhaus event but didn't get to see the fashion show slated to happen that evening. Let's just say it was past 12 and the show didn't start yet, meaning it was MUCH fashionably late. Anyway, I got to see some celebrities who endorsed the new scent called COCONUT WAX (Gift of the Tropics!). I was like ah so that's why there were coconuts on the table centerpiece LOL.

Anyway, here are some people who graced the event that evening.

Fabio Ide and I think his girlfriend (this isn't Lia Andrea Ramos right?). Anyway, they were inseparable that evening.

Neil Arce and Bela Padilla was there. They were also in the looping Strip Manila and Browhaus ad that was playing that evening. 

Gretchen Fulido and her pretty friends enjoyed that evening.

Other celebrities were the guys from Boys Night Out, Antoinette Taus, Tom Taus, Team Kramer (without the kids of course!), Raymond Gutierrez and Jake Cuenca.
