JOSEPH MARCO at his PEAK, Celebrating His 3rd Year with HANFORD

Took the trip up north to cover the contract signing of actor/model Joseph Marco. The well loved man is on his third year with Hanford. 

The contract signing was witnessed by Dr. Victor N. Te the President, Ms. Sincerely C.Te the Executive Vice President, Ms. Sheena Ann Te-Tan the Vice President, Ms. Angelica Sangco the Sales And Marketing Manager, all of Mansfield International Incorporated. Present in the occasion was Ms. Katherine M. Liclican the President/ CEO of JKast Management Productions, Inc. (Joseph's management).

Dr. Victor N. Te welcomed us to the occasion. He said "This is the 3rd time we are signing Joseph Marco with Hanford. He is very intelligent, capable, dashing, fun, fearless, fresh, genuine and handsome. He's also very personable, quick witted, radiant, stylish, talented, unique, versatile, wholesome, has an x factor, youthful, and zesty. He is special, and our collaboration with him will have great success!"

Joseph replied "They chose to believe in me and that means everything to me. If you invest in me, I give back, I will always do my best. It's about comfort, confidence, and this is what Hanford stood for. For believing in me once again, thank you so much!"

Here's our conversation with him after the contract signing with the executives of Mansfield International Inc., the entity that owns HANFORD.

Joseph added "With HANFORD, every year our connection grows deeper. They made me own my craft in terms of the business, they really teach me the ropes. When you're given difficulties in life, you discover so much with yourself. Every year, I prepare a lot for them and the campaigns they include me in. I am bulking right now, last year, it took me months to get ready and I learn a lot doing that including nutrition, food, my lifestyle and working out. Soon, I want to have my own designs and I think it's the perfect time to do that. It's been amazing to spend 3 years with them, I am thankful, grateful and it's a powerful to be with a brand that trusts you. I feel like I'm at my peak, when you reach maturity, most of the distractions are muted. Right now, I don't waste time anymore so I make sure to work out and watch my diet. I have a personal cook, she cooks for me, it's part of the process because I want to challenge myself, to improve this time, stretch myself in setting the bar high!" 

Asked if he's wishing for anything, he says "I really think that the most valuable things in life are family, friends, self fulfillment, and finding your purpose. I am just grateful that I've passed that phase. When you learn how to be content, it's amazing. Always maintain your mental peace."

Congratulations Joseph Marco! You're killing it, and we can't wait to see what HANFORD is planning for your campaign this coming 2026. So far, it looks amazing from here!

BENCH: The Naked Truth Preview and New Endorsers

When BENCH does a show, we all know it's going to be of epic proportions! The bi-annual Jeans and Underwear show from this brand just gets bigger and bigger every two years and we've got tons of stars we've never seen clad in the best intimate wear and jeans from them. Well, since you've been very good kids, we're going to give you a glimpse of the show this coming September 19, 2014. We'll also throw in something really good for you as a bonus because they also announced their new endorsers. It's a little rainy outside I know, but I think you'll be kept a little warm when you see this on the runway come the fashion show entitled THE NAKED TRUTH!

The venue was pitch dark and they started with a man and a woman in the center clad in spiky shiny crystals. They show the themes on the screen and as I see it, they are showing phrases that connects with the TRUTHS that they want us to see. In different forms, different terms, different meanings.

Then from the opposite side of the stage, these three models came out with masks and a helmet made of leather and more of Bench's intimate wear. Add to that black lace and more leather straps, it's a nice evening to see that for the start. I don't know if Michael Cinco or Furne One had a hand on this but it is reminiscent of their design. I like what I'm seeing.

They changed themes t The Animal Within, so yes we saw two men going at it. They wore those feathers which I saw with Joey Mead a couple of seasons back. Men wore their white Bench Body underwear too. Then, a little rain.

Guitar Underwear Brand Launches New Endorsers

A brand that encompassed generations and rocked the innerwear industry for over 50 years, Guitar Underwear just recently announced their new endorsers and relaunched their existing ones at the Cities Events Place in Sgt. Esguerra, Quezon City. They also showed their brand of inner and outerwear shirts, sandos, modern basic briefs, panties and boxer shorts during the event. The brand which started in Hong Kong, then transferred its operations in the Philippines - now holds to be one of the best brands aiming to by synonymous with intimate style and quality.

Saw these two guys chatting and had to disturb them for a photo op. Carlos Agassi who's sculptured physique just screams the cause that he had to be here. The amir of rap, he's still got a well formed body to carry underwear like a normal shirt anytime of the day. He works hard at it and makes it a point to have regular gym time urges the need to be fit and healthy no matter what age an individual is. He's continuing to inspire the youth to not only look good but have a lifestyle fitness centric. It's one of the reasons why he's been able to stay with Guitar for over 8 years now and they continue to believe in him up until now. Carlos is glad that he's still with the brand and promises to continue staying in shape for the love of the Guitar Underwear brand.

Guitar has been around for almost 50 years but they haven't been able to market themselves that much in the past. They have in the past just invested in regular newspaper ads and thought of re-introducing themselves to the new generation which still comprise the majority of their consumers; hence the event. Quality wise they would never change, but they might actually improve on it. The deal breaker is, they will never even think of raising prices because as they see it, their product sits as one of the most affordable in every shop, mall or stores they are in right now.

I haven't met Ann Mateo before so it was high time we get to know her a little better. When I asked about her background, she says she started singing for fun and started uploading them on the Internet. This venue got her appreciated more by netizens and got her started to do more later on. Sharing her music got her recognized by a lot of people and it landed her modeling stints, hosting jobs and then a program for People's Television Network 4. Guitar believes in up and coming talents hence the reason why they got her. Not only that, she is officially the first female endorser for the brand. She's in fact making history here. I'd like to get to know her better soon. She's happy and thankful though for Guitar to have her as an endorser. She feels that this is a feat she never knew would even happen, the fact that she's endorsing a brand means they believe in her... she feels elated. 

Mark "Mugen" Striegl

When I heard he's going to be here, I turned into a fan. He's one of the few Filipino American Athletes I look up to, especially in the MMA leagues. He grew up Tokyo, lived in Baguio and trained Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He went to MMA a few years after. He's one tough cookie and his professional career is very impressive. I saw a couple of fights he won overwhelmingly. 

Being a very good example to the youth and a world class athlete is just one of the few reasons why Guitar got him as an endorser. They are also gearing to have some of their designs and clothing be adept with the athletic side. They'll still have the classics but make new ones that would cater to the young, the professionals, the athletes and everyone who needs it. Mark now has his own team called Team Buffet and he'll be coming up with a team who'll manage a blog that will basically also discuss lifestyle, health, sports, food and a lot more. It's a big undertaking but Mark's excited about that. Just get updates on his Facebook page "Mark Mugen".

Guitar's Marketing Manager Alvin Ross Uy Rivera says they'll have the classic ones in the market and create a new product line. "We've already started the outerwear shirts, like the ones they are already wearing. They'll also be coming out with new bamboo fabrics, dry fit ones, Polyester shirts, and pretty soon even socks and other ones that would complete their collection to have something from head to toe. It's already second most or the most affordable brand in the market. It's available in almost all department stores and even internationally through SM too." 

A man that needs no introduction is rap superstar Gloc9. I've been a fan since I saw him perform live during a Coke event years ago. He's even helping other artists make it to the scene, even better that afternoon because they also played the music video that's perfect for the campaign Guitar is launching. To get a glimpse of that, here it is!

 

He performed it together with Denise Barbacena. Of course there were some antics in between by Guitar endorsers as well. Since it's Filipino week, that made him even more proud to say he's part of this brand. He didn't have to strip for the most part of it but he's making the language and connection a big part of the influence he's emitting on and off cam. A lot of people believe in him and that's his selling point. For what it's worth, he's pretty happy Guitar believes in his talent and they have an understanding like a gentleman's word to support each others endeavors. That right there is priceless.

Ellen Adarna for Bench Body

The stage was almost pitch dark when the event started. Then out of the shadows, two Swarovsky crystal encrusted gloves started hitting a full punching bag in the middle of the ring. I was loving what I was seeing as the lights carefully showed the lines and contours of her body. 

Then she goes on hinting us with her Bench Body outfit, stunned us with an all red number. She didn't stop there though because she used the punching bags and kicked it like a pro.

She whisked nearby but I could only see a glimpse of her from where I am but up close, you can see the details of her underwear, the red fabric and near mesh on the sides doesn't discomfort her at all even if she had to move a lot during the more athletic part of the show. This, while staying sexy.

 And ooh... this is my money shot. She went ahead and stretched a bit in the center of the ring and this gave me chills. Ellen Adarna is truly SEXY! This is because what she wears just accentuates her body... all courtesy of BENCH BODY. Then after that, the girls all came out and whipped their you know what all over the stage..

Then Ellen came out and put on an athletic shirt, took out her jumping ropes and skipped away. She was so awesome in the center stage doing some fancy footwork and exhibitions with the ropes. The guys had a field day!

Bench Universe: The 2012 Denim and Underwear Show - Part 4 (FINALE)

This is the 4th and last installment of the BENCH UNIVERSE coverage that I've been doing these past few days. It ain't over yet because the best is about to come out! Gorgeous men and women on the catwalk for BENCH's 25th Anniversary. I promised to take you even further about experiencing what it is to be on the front row and got you so many close ups of your favorite stars, celebrities and models during this Bi Annual Underwear and Denim Fashion Show from global brand BENCH.

So let's begin by showing you the dancers from EHLAY (L.A.) that BENCH flew in just for this show.

They all were modelesque if there's a term and their dances were really in tune with what the show requires. These guys blew us away!

These three girls were really good, one of them stood out but that's debatable hehe. It looks like aother part of the show was about to happen. The FINALE!

Then one of my favorites from US vs UK Edition of ANTM went back on stage. SOPHIE SUMNER!

Oh Sophie, you are so beautiful!

Now, as if that wasn't enough another ANTM Model came in. My favorite ALLISON HARVARD!

I specifically requested to her on twitter to spend a few minutes posing in front of the stage and told her I'll be in front center, and she gave me all the opportunity to shoot her. Oh those gorgeous eyes, that awesome skin, I couldn't be happier!

Then there were perfect bodied foreign models again :D

Not to be outdone, this is the first time that Jennelyn Mercado is joining BENCH. Just look at this gorgeous red number!

Now this guy is from GMA if I'm not mistaken. If I get him identified I'll edit and update the article :) (I was wrong apparently because he is Alex Castro, he sings together with Marky Stroem and JM De Guzman in ASAP, thanks to user @iAmAnilovich for the tip!)

Then under the management of Leo Dominguez, here's Ms. Universe's daughter Isabelle Diaz-Daza

I love her, she's simple and beautiful. Like Angle Aquino, she's timeless, kinda like that.

He's horny... what I meant was he's got horns LOL

Vavavoom Bianca Manalo shows her new do and body fit for a beauty queen.

The next one ladies and gentlemen would probably be a little rowdy, hold on to your horses because here's Nathan of Walang Hanggan aka the one and only Paulo Avelino

I wonder what he's doing? Sexy, he's got the body and looks to boot! Good job Paulo!

Then comes his arch enemy in the series, the FINALE with Coco Martin!

He's proven that one need not to strip in order to be sexy. Then they all came back on stage and posed on front.

If that part wasn't amazing enough, they go ahead and bring Far East Movement to the center stage...

This overwhelmingly successful project was nothing but a great way to celebrate 25 years of BENCH. Congratulations on holding one of the best shows I have ever seen in my entire life. Congratulations to everyone who supported and made BENCH UNIVERSE possible. Thank you also to everyone who got me to cover this momentous occasion, you have outdone yourselves and I'm sure the next one would be even greater! I fervently hope that in some way I was able to make you guys feel that you were part of the celebration of BENCH, hope you feel that you were there on the runway enjoying the show with me and thousands who came to witness it!
