Globe’s Got New Prepaid Promos: Go+

Times are hard but Globe understands the situation so they're coming out with new promos to fit your needs during the pandemic. They call it Go+ which means it'll be more than what they offered in the past and since we're all locked in our homes, I'm sure most of you are either working, playing games or streaming with your favorite apps.

They know how important it is to be able to communicate with work related matters and to take your mind off things, entertainment through games or movies would make your mental health a bit better. True, sometimes it's a bit boring at home and taking breaks like that would do tons of good. You would need enough data for both things and these huge allocations would come in handy with what you're doing whether you're at work or play. Registering to the new promo only costs Php 99 via Go+99 which gives you 7 days of 16GB data plus unlimited texts to all networks.

You can use the first 8GB to access kumagcow.com or any website you love, then the other 8GB can be used to access YouTube, Netflix, Viu, iWant, iflix, HBOGo, ONE FC or the NBA. If you're into games, you can also opt for Mobile Legends, Clash of Clans, League of Legends, Wild Rift, PUBG, Call of Duty, MU Origin 2, Legends of Runeterra or Twitch. It just depends on what fits your lifestyle really. If the Go+99 promo doesn't satisfy you, you can opt for bigger allocation via Go+129, Go+149, Go+250. You can access these things via the Globe One app or *143# on your Globe Prepaid phone. These are also available on the GCash app. You have the options, now go work and entertain yourself because Globe is giving you more.

You choose how to use your data, and that's good!

Jimuel Pacquiao, Nio Tria, Analain Salvador, Ashton Salvador, Alyanna Angeles Joins GOLD SQUAD PLUS

More artists are being introduced now as Star Magic and ABSCBN are ramping up their line of programs and the need for talents are evident as some of them have jumped ship (and we can't blame them either because they need to make a living). These guys and gals are promising but what we found out was... they were no strangers to the showbiz industry.

Jimuel Pacquiao is of course the son of boxing great Manny Pacquiao and Jinkee Pacquiao. Nio Tria is the son of character actress Cherry Pie Picache. Analain Salvador and Ashton Salvador are both cousins of teen king Daniel Padilla. Alyanna Angeles on the other hand is a former child star and is now embarking on showbiz now that she's a bit older of course. They were all very smart, eloquent while being thrown questions by the press and we did enjoy the evening with them. They will be now part of the GOLD SQUAD PLUS group together with other teen stars which they introduced a couple months ago. Being part of this wasn't that easy and some of them were really nervous, they were asked how they feel now that they are officially launched.

Jimuel says "I was kinda nervous at first but I'm thankful as I get to make a name for myself now and perhaps be off the shadow of my Dad."

Nio says "Being a part of this surprised me, and being a Kapamilya, I had to ask her about it and I wanted to do my best now that I am part of Squad Plus."

Analain says "When I first heard it from my Aunt, I was ecstatic. To show talent and pursue my passion for acting, I am also happy to know that I'm with my brother too."

Ashton says "Admittedly I was nervous and speechless about entering the industry, even now I am a little afraid, but of course I am excited to enter showbiz too."

Alyanna says "Well I'm very thankful that even if it is during the pandemic, we were given the opportunity to be part of the Gold Squad Plus."

Here's part of the blog conference we had with them a few days ago

For now, make sure you catch them on KUMU during Mondays and the shows they are planning to have with them soon. Thanks to ABSCBN PR for allowing us to get to know them. Thank you!

WCOPA Champ Enzo Morales Shares Secrets to Success

Sunday, April 25, 2021

Filipinos have been known to be very talented singers around the world. Our beginnings have always been that story of our parents egging us to sing during family gatherings, and new artist Enzo Morales has had about the same fate. To tell that he's musically inclined is shortchanged. His family has always exposed him with the love for music and also, encouraged him to sing.

Though talented, he's always had this notion of insecurity. He wasn't too keen in joining contests like what usual amateur singers would do in the country. After joining choirs in primary and secondary school, he was urged to join a school competition during his senior year, and that landed him 1st Runner Up. It was then that made him think to pursue greater things in singing.

Later on, he decided to audition for something big. It was for the World Championships of Performing Arts (WCOPA) in 2014. He passed the auditions to represent the country and got mentored by former champ and singing phenom  Jed Madela. He says "I knew then that I had to use the gift and share it with people. In the competition, I was glad to have been able to represent the country and we bagged four awards in that stint. The WCOPA surely wouldn't be my last, and I am open to more opportunities that would come." This resulted in him winning one gold, one silver and two bronzes for the country.

When he got back to the country, he had the opportunity to perform in different radio and TV stations like DZRH, the Eagle network, participate in ASOP (A Song of Praise) competition, guest at DZMM Teleradyo, Wish FM and Walang Tulugan with Master Showman Kuya Germs.

Currently, Enzo Morales finished his Bachelors degree in Psychology from Far Eastern University and is working as a flight attendant for the nation's official carrier Philippine Airlines. He also continues to hone his craft by joining Center for Pop Music Philippines and Star Magic Workshops.

His advice for those pursuing their dreams of becoming a professional singer is that "You need to practice, surround yourself with people that have the same passion as yours. I feel alive singing, it gives me that adrenaline rush when I am in front of a crowd. Each time I do, I feel like I'm a different person bringing different emotions on stage. Know who you are as an artist and people will adore and support you in your journey."

That makes a lot of sense. If you want to know more about the artist, you'll get to see him more events soon. He's very talented and surely, he's going to give honor to the country even more.
