STAR MAGIC SPOTLIGHT: Meeting the BIG 4 and Ex Housemates of PBB Collab 2.0

Monday, March 23, 2026

It's been a couple of weeks since they've all gone out of the PBB house, and from the looks of it, these guys and gals from ABSCBN are already doing good. They've all got a strong following, foundations are being done (especially workshops) since most of them are soon to be actors and actresses. They're also dipping their hand into singing, something phenomenal if they could all do it. They're also doing some guestings, which they are gladly doing, with a chance to also dance LIVE or on TikTok. Isn't that amazing?

We got to see Carmelle Collado, Eliza Borromeo, Fred Moser, Inigo Jose, Rave Victoria and Reich Alim first. They're pretty rowdy no? Even if the cameras weren't rolling, they're already so excited (just seeing each other) even if some of them have seen each other 2 days ago. Here's what they talked about!

PBB Collab 2.0 was a bit different. Fred had a very charming disposition, Inigo had the face card and is straightforward. Rave is all smiles when talking, Reich was classy, Eliza was beautiful, while Carmelle already established how much of a firecracker she is (we all laughed with her from the minute she opened her mouth!). I also love the part where they told us what they did once they got out of the house, mostly ate their favorite dishes and didn't sleep (because they talked for hours!).

Here's also what happened to the BIG 4, Carmella Ford, Krystal Mejes, Joaquin Arce, and Miguel Vergara. Mela is all smiles, Krystal is pretty and experienced, Miguel was super cute, and Joaquin was a bit naughty during the press conference. See why on this this video!

Seeing them meet each other at the venue already made an impression of how close these guys and gals have been inside the house. They were literally screaming, super happy when they got to see the other housemates from batch 1 of the interviews. They also told us how thankful they are about the advise they got from Kuya, they also miss him a lot apparently.

You have a lot to look forward to now that they are all signed with STAR MAGIC. I am so glad they are taking their time to work on their craft before they go out and do shows, some series, and music which are all in the works. Follow them and the official star magic social accounts to see updates from them. I've heard a few will be done this year, so stay tuned!

Oh by the way, there are some BTS I've recorded available on my reels at FB, just search KUMAGCOW on the app and follow okay?! :)

URATEX and SM HOME Enjoins Folks on "8 Hour Movement" on World Sleep Day

Wednesday, March 18, 2026

Sleep is certainly something that is needed for rest and repair. It is where we all recover, where our body functions reset and prepare for the next day.

The sleep authority Uratex knows how important it is so they've gone and partnered with the folks from SM HOME by putting up an 8-Hour Movement Sleep Station which they'll be putting at SM Store, SM Megamall so people get educated at these locations. Vanelyn Destar the Senior Brand Marketing Exec from Uratex reiterates how important sleep is and with the 8 Hour Movement, they could get more folks to talk about the importance of sleep and changes in their lifestyle. This partnership with SM Home also would get them to showcase what good things they could do design wise since they've got lots of things inside the store. This is supported by Christopher Ang, SM Home's VP for Marketing who made mention that a lot of Filipinos got to experience it at the malls. They were able to get Filipinos experience and sleep better.

The event launch on March 13 also included activities, celebrity appearances, with Kapuso comedian Betong Sumaya, host Amy Perez, phenom Alyssa Valdez and actress Bea Binene. They also had a program with Dr. April Hernandez from the Philippine Society of Sleep Medicine.

Uratex is keen on sustaining these projects with SM Home and plan to work together especially shoppers who want to do this on a regular basis. Visit the SM Home stores or their website  smhome.ph and their social channels.

VARGAS Calls for Stricter Implementation, Review and Investigation of QC Anti-Bullying Measures

Tuesday, March 17, 2026

Trigger Warning:Bullying++

In recent reports, a first year high school student became a victim of bullying in Quezon City. He had seizures, apparently got bullied and hurt by his classmates, called names as a SPED (special education) student which caused his untimely demise last February (where his Mom is still asking for justice to this day, despite catching it all on CCTV).

Former Congressman and now Quezon City Councilor Alfred Vargas took his time at a privilege speech and ask for a review of the existing Quezon City Anti Bullying Ordinance to address the number of incidents of this nature. It has increased in recent years and mostly have been caused by bullying, physical harm, picking on those who are differently abled. He explains how it is important to see who should be accountable, while being given due process and seek the truth.

As of now, the QC Council has voted unanimously for an investigation on the incident. Vargas reiterates the importance of stopping this from happening again. He says "We cannot just make "a person thinking like a child" a reason for all of these. This is serious, and is a matter of life and death. I am calling for everyone's help on this matter and hope justice be served."

He adds "Together with our Mayor Joy Belmonte and Vice Mayor Gian Sotto, we urge everyone in the city council to start discussions on the Anti Bullying Ordinance and the measures we have protecting these kids. I think it is high time we put in stronger measures, like reporting, the duties of school administrators and the parents. Let's not be silent on this matter!"

I agree with him that there should not be anyone who would go through these things in 2026. He also said no parent should experience this sadness, sorrow or grief in their lifetime. The cycle of abuse should stop!

TERESA LOYZAGA Has THIS Grievance with Maddox Jewelry

Friday, March 13, 2026

It looks like another iconic actress has been seen at the Maddox Jewelry grounds in Marikina City. She is the iconic actress Teresa Loyzaga. Maddox Jewelry is owned by businesswoman and entrepreneur Ms. Charo Cordial. Ms. Teresa Loyzaga though has one grievance, and it has reached them at the Marikina showroom.

Ms. Teresa Loyzaga has been long watching the previous online selling live streams of the brand and had the chance to say "mine" on some of the items, but apparently she doesn't get noticed during those streams. This didn't sit well with her at all, so she did the next best thing... she went directly to the Marikina Showroom located at AZDM Building JP Rizal Street in Marikina City.

When she got there, she was a bit shocked to be personally attended to by Ms. Charo Cordial. Shortly, she got several pieces that she loved, quick, fast and efficient. She got a pair of earrings for her granddaughter (daughter of talented actor Diego Loyzaga). She laments how she's at a phase where she could invest in jewelry pieces as her child is already an adult. The talk between them was cordial and honest, including some small details on Diego's recovery. You can watch the whole story at the Maddox Jewelry YouTube channel or their Facebook page which has tons of followers too. You certainly don't wanna miss this!
