25 Years Of Lots'a Pizza And Their Sweet Partnership With Dole

As a major component of almost all their pizza flavors, the partnership was perfect says Ms. Teresita Ngan Tian, Lots'a Pizza's President. They continue to research about better ingredients and develop even better pizza variants so the public would continue to enjoy the classics. They have also sent out new premium pizzas for those who would want to indulge more in Lots'a Pizza, something that we absolutely love!

 We were then treated to lovely Lots'a Pizzas that afternoon. Yes, I admit to have tasted them all!

The cheese was soft and creamy and the way it melts into all the ingredients plus the sweet tangy pizza sauce and parbaked crust was something you would close your eyes for. Quite heavenly! Aside from the lovely pizza lot, the thing that made quite a difference was the fresh Dole pineapple found in some of the pizza variants. It was sweet, not too tangy even if there was no added sugar or sweeteners. 

I love the classic pizzas that are also very affordable! We took a slice and more of the Double Whammy, Roast Beef n' Cheese, Bacon Blaze, Hungarian Fiesta and the oh so good Garden Harvest. They also have a premium line which consists of Great Manhattan, Hawaiian Delight, Pure Beef Special, Pepperoni and Mushroom and Hotdog Festival. It's now all available on their 204 Pizza outlets nationwide - this also includes their 50 franchisees. See what you get for your money? This is why they lasted for a very long time. Filipinos love something filling and great tasting for the amount they pay and Lots'a Pizza gives all of these! They sent out the premium ones to cater for those willing to spend a little extra for more ingredients. I couldn't tell you how much I enjoyed each one of them and I was full to the brim going out of Ascott that afternoon.

I like the part where he quoted Henry Sy saying that "He didn't want to be the number one brand, but wanted to be number one in the hearts and minds of the consumers".

The Borrowed Wife: Exciting Scenes in GMA Afternoon Primetime

I will have to admit. I used to watch this show everyday because of the story and everything but I stopped because it stressed me out. I couldn't concentrate anymore. Each scene in this series would either have someone hitting a lady or gripping her against the wall or throwing her around like a rag doll. Though obviously, the scenes were all well thought and executed for it to affect me that well. I didn't ask or talk that much during the blogcon because they might find out I'm a fan! LOL! It deserves the praise and ratings it's getting though and I applaud them for that!

 

Rafael Roselle who plays Rico Santos in the series even sang a few songs to get us a little comfortable.Also in the show are lead stars Camille Prats who plays Sophia/Maria, Charee Pineda as Maricar, TJ Trinidad as death by eye color Earl and Pauleen Luna as Tessa. Other stars such as Yayo Aguila, Sherilyn Reyes, Kevin Santos, Lou Sison, Diego Castro, Red Bustamante, Zarah Mae Deligero, Jojit Lorenzo and Ms. Caridad Sanchez are also in the show. They are currently troubled about who's who because apparently, news that the reconstructive surgery about the fake Maricar was out!

Camille says almost all the scenes in this series was tough to portray. Gravity was trying to pull them together but ethics was keeping them apart because they needed to do the right thing. She married TJ in the hopes of proving her love but turns out she was actually fooled into the situation... and she didn't like it when she knew about it. Her favorite line in the series is "Sa akin ka na lang ulit Rico" because she had to say that a lot of times. Rafael Roselle remembers the kid in the series who says "I love you ten times, ten thousand times!" which he thinks was so cute and endearing. Tj on the other hand loved the statement "Akin ka!" stemming from his role who's got an obsession with Sophia played by Camille Prats. They also had a very Hollywoodish car chase scene which you also should watch out for because they were so ecstatic telling us about it. Rafael compares it to the running scene in Pearl Harbor which he thinks is one of the highlights. They will also in the end find Cecilia, is she Maricar? Well, you have to find out by watching the series, all afternoon on GMA!

GMA's Primetime Afternoon: Innamorata

You remember when we met Dion Ignacio a few months ago? Well, he's part of this series called Innamorata. It literally means being "in love" and this mid fantasy story that goes around a young lady who's got a condition based on the one they called Porphyria. In a nutshell, it's a very weird skin condition and you won't look good while having it. It's hereditary and it doesn't happen often according to statistics. All of which will all magically disappear when she (Max Collins' character) wears a necklace. Innamorata's lead stars are Max Collins, Luis Alandy, Gwen Zamora and Jackie Rice. We got to talk to some of them during the short blogcon a few days ago and it was fun! 

We were treated with a song by Luis Allandy and a couple of acting games after LOL. They were asked a couple of questions, some were a little off tangent but most of it is general. I think they are running a couple of months and might be ending soon. That goes without saying that their story is about to get more intense in the coming weeks. Some that would be very interesting to their current viewers. Something to do with Gina's sickness and how Cora and Dino would try to find out if this claim is real or not. Gina will also make Esperanza a little bit more guilty about stealing everything from her but really, we know why she's saying that. Will Edwin succumb to Gina's wishes to get married because of that? Well, we've got to find out by watching them on GMA's primetime block.

I also hope you get to see that part where Gina goes storming into the wedding and pulls off the necklace off Esper; then divulges what she really looks like. It'll be hard on Esper and she'll feel extra sad these coming days. Will she be able to convince Dencio later on? Or will the love story end soon.

Villa Quintana Shines on GMA Afternoon Prime Block

Meeting some of the stars of GMA's afternoon prime time block was something I was really looking forward to. I do catch some of these shows and I know they've got a pretty big following. The last time I saw Janine Gutierrez was in a Bench show ages ago. She's one remarkable actress now and I've seen her together with heartthrob Elmo Magalona as Lynette and Isagani respectively. I like these two, very humble.

They are doing justice to the old Keempee De Leon and Donna Cruz original which was a hit back in the 90's. As for the love team, I think they are gearing up to maybe even make it a reality because I've seen interviews of Elmo admitting attraction and or planning to court her but it seems to have been shelved somewhere. Anyway, you guys look good together and I don't see any reason why you shouldn't try to be more than friends.Villa Quintana already shows how Lynette and Isagani's real life counterparts look good together. The show also delves into these experiences. The fight of the rich and the poor, the conflict between families and the things that lie in between.

They have fared quite high in their time slot according to the latest Nielsen surveys. Audience share speaks a lot on how successful the show is. Other stars in this series include Raymart Santiago who plays Felix, Sunshine Dizon plays always beaten up and blind Lumen Samonte-Quintana, Paolo Contis as loverboy Robert Quintana, Al Tantay as the influential Don Manolo Quintana, Maricar de Mesa as Stella Mendiola-Quintana a very evil other woman, Marky Lopez as Chito, Kyla Alvarez as Ruby Quintana, Tanya Garcia as Amparing Mangaron, Juancho Trivino as Jace and Rita De Guzman as Patrice. Watch how these guys make Isagani and Lynette's life even more miserable as the story continues. Can't wait to see more twists and turns on this Romeo and Julietesque story turns out.
