Circuit Fest Music and Skate Concert Happening On May 25th at Circuit Makati!

Wednesday, May 08, 2013

It feels like God has been good to our country with the numerous bands coming to our shores. This one actually would shock you. It's like bringing the whole West side to the Philippines and mind you the bands are no joking matter. Imagine the likes of Yellow Card, Mayday Parade, We are the In Crowd, The Downtown Fiction, This Century, All Star Weekend, A+ Dropouts, Megan Nicole and Before You Exit all in one awesome place like Circuit Makati plus a multitude of skaters from Manila and the US converge for what is dubbed as CIRCUIT FEST MUSIC AND SKATE which will all happen on May 25th, 2013 at the Globe Circuit Event Grounds. Wouldn't that be amazing?!

We even talked to some of the artists and bands a few days ago through Skype and phone calls. One things for sure, they are so excited to come to the country and perform for everyone come that evening. Would you believe I even talked to Riley Hawk? Yeah you heard that right, he's the son of THE Tony Hawk and he's so awesome on the board too if you haven't seen it. I'm a huge fan of this guy and I was shaking the mere instance he spoke to me over the phone. I'll probably let him sign my back when he comes over for the music and skate fest! Willy Santos also will be there so I'm sure this will be one SICK skate park in the making!

They also announced a new area to be opened so you can purchase tickets as low as 800 pesos if you prefer a more economic way of doing this. But really, wouldn't you want to see them up close? :)

So make sure on the eve of May 25th you'll have your tickets ready because CIRCUIT MAKATI's CIRCUIT FEST Music and Skate event will blow your mind on what it truly means to have fun! Oh and I almost forgot to tell you guys about one thing, Mark Salling of popular show GLEE will be hosting the show!

An Awesome Launch of "This is my Dole!"

Tuesday, May 07, 2013

When there's healthy food I usually shy away from it. I'm a carnivore but I can't discount the fact that these days, I need to change my lifestyle into something that's good for me. I enjoy fruits and juices though and I think I can bank on that when I'm furiously trying to lose  weight. I don't have to stay and eat boring stuff, I learned that a few days ago during the launch of "This is my Dole!

These guys who won awards from dance contests in the US actually made this drink a part of their lives. They were energetic, full of vigor and dancing wasn't tiring them at all. These guys are cool... and they drink one thing to keep them up on their feet, it's Dole!

They also announced their new celebrity endorsers; Chef Jeremy Favia, Bianca Valerio, Phil Younghusband, and Jon Avila. Just like me, they have their own favorites. They also say the same thing, "This is my Dole!".

Chef Jeremy always uses Dole's Tomato Sauce for all his dishes. So that's why it's so good!

Ms. Bianca Valero's favorite is the Mandarin Orange, I love that too. It's not too sweet but has all the awesome fruit goodness in one cup!

Phil Younghusband on the other hand always wants a cup or two of the Strawberry Jelly, I don't blame him why not  because I had some of those too on my fridge.

Jon Avila to maintain that sculptured physique always see to it he gets Dole singles, variants of Pineapple juice flavors too!

Wherever you are and whatever you do, there is always one or more variant of Dole for you! Make sure you check out your local grocers, supermarkets and get some of these awesome fruit products that only one brand can bring. If you want all the nutritious content to be there and get lovely skin + a gorgeous body, changing your lifestyle and finding your own Dole is easy. This is my Dole! You should find yours too! =)

More Exciting Scenes On Dugong Buhay

Who among you has been following DUGONG BUHAY in Kapamilya Gold? I do! And the story is just about to get more hot as the next generation of actors take lead in the next few days because as the plot unfolds there will be more things happening to the characters of Ejay Falcon who plays Gabriel de Lara / Victor Bernabe, Arjo Atayde who plays Rafael de Lara, my favorite Yam Concepcion who plays Sandy De Guzman and Jed Montero who plays Trisha. We got the chance to talk to them a couple of weeks ago during a pocket press conference and seeing Yam again and the rest of the cast was something I was really looking forward to.

The Right Note

Saturday, May 04, 2013

It's been a while since I've updated you with what I've been doing with my music. I've recorded four tracks and had it all on raw piano. Doing that made me realize how important this heirloom piece is for our family. It's even older than me I guess and honestly putting a price on these things would probably be offending my forefathers. It's been with us for a long time and I haven't been able to think about selling it for a more modern model. That includes my comparison to Steinway Prices too. The reason I'm considering it is because I couldn't do without maintenance. Tuning this old one up every year also is costing me. Finding who'll do that is also a big problem so I am weighing my options as early as now.

The price of these items in this part of the world isn't a joke. It would cost an arm and a leg; or other body parts on some instances. The question is; would I spend something for a new one or do I just keep this? You think about all the people who held each key of this wonderful piece of history and you can't succumb thinking you'll end a generation of musicians who kept this within our home for the last half century. If that isn't one thing I should consider then I don't know what will. See my dilemma? It's not just a piece of furniture for our family; it's the memories that come with it that's important. It's like answering if the piano is a percussion or string instrument, you'll never know in your lifetime the right answer. Maybe my future kids' one of these days would know. As for now, I'll probably have to carry the burden of making this a part of my life. It won't work if I just have it sit there and collect dust. Maybe one day if the music I make becomes understandable for one or more people I'll probably find this all worth it... just like my forefathers did. I just need to find the right note.
