Change is good, and this goes the same with your Limitless Star Julie Anne San Jose. She's the newest Ginebra Calendar Girl set for 2025. She joins a number of illustrious women who have graced the calendar which started 34 years ago, a tradition for the well loved brand. Julie has never done something like this, and she wanted to show a different side. She did looked quite confident and braver donning several couture pieces meant to represent the various drinks that the company carries.

She also didn't just appear and say hi, she came out with things blazing, putting in apt song and dance numbers, we all felt like it was a full blown concert after every reveal. In my years of covering stuff like this, I've never seen something like this before. She was also given her own bottle with JULIE ANNE on the label, it was only being given during the event to commemorate it. She was very happy about the calendars and how it turned out, she was just so relieved she could tell people about it now since they've been working on it since the beginning of the year and had to be mum about its existence, so they could have a grand reveal!

HEAVEN PERALEJO is Your Ginebra Calendar Girl for 2024

The much awaited reveal of the Ginebra Calendar Girl this year was quite epic. To say the least, it's quite different than the previous ones because as you can see on the output, they have thought of a theme. The Philippines is composed of 7,641 islands, each celebrating different town fiestas. It's part of culture, that even with diverse number of languages in every region, we still manage to put food on the table and celebrate good times. It's some sort of thanksgiving, and so the layouts for Heaven Peralejo would want to exude that, and of course, still look gorgeous in it.

Ginebra also knows how much their brand is part of every Filipino celebration. Much festivities have men and women glued to seats, taking the ceremonial toast, and drink up to thank for a bountiful harvest, for weathering disasters, or just plainly giving homage to their patron that differs every town too.

Heaven did the Baguio Panagbenga Festival, the Giant Lantern Festival, Higantes from Angono, Pintados Festival from Leyte, the Kadayawan Festival in Davao too.My personal favorite is my province's very own Masskara Festival which depicts putting a smile on the faces after famine struck the province of Negros years past.

Essential Drink Attributes Showcased at GSM's White Party

 

There's certainly a lot of things to celebrate this month including the goodness of World Gin Day. In Manila, Ginebra San Miguel Incorporated hosted a white party at the fabulous Westin Manila in Ortigas Pasig. It's a no brainer as GSMI continues to be the world's number 1 selling brand of gin and has become a regular in various celebrations, and life's simple pleasures.

GSMI Marketing Manager Ron Molina says "It's been a tradition for us to join the celebration of World Gin Day. We are pioneers of this in the Philippines and we know how Filipinos enjoy how cool, clear and versatile this drink is, so cheers to that!"

This new call to let people know how these three characteristics of GSM would certainly get them to have more appreciation of it. Artists like premier actor Zanjoe Marudo, vlogger Basel Manadil and beauty queen Herlene "Hipon Girl" Budol were also at the event to verbalize how it is to be Cool, Clear and Versatile. Zanjoe says "It's when I stay calm that I feel more cool, it's why I choose the classic GSM back when I was in Batangas, it brings back memories indeed!". Basel on the other hand confirms his likeness of the GSM Premium Gin and tells "Because it's like me, it's clear just like my intentions. You need to be like that because you wouldn't know when you give an impact for others." Then Herlene Budol prefers to become Versatile, saying "Being versatile means that it is possible to be good in different things." They will also be joining different events starting this month because as they say, "Gin Is In!".

Together with the campaign, they also revealed GSM Bar Academy wherein they had 3 new graduates, all scholars of skill courses as they partnered with TESDA in bartending, flairtending, and building businesses. This is in hopes to increase quality pros in the industry, tall order, but are already achieving a lot obviously. It has transformed lives, and even won an international CSR Excellence Award from UK, slated to be awarded on the 16th.

If you're fond of the social channels of GSM, there will be a second season for G-Mix Nation Online where they'll feature various recipes for cocktails, and tips on how you can use a Home Bar Kit to be sold in select supermarkets nationwide. They will also host in 50 bars nationwide to make sure you're involved in one or more parties during this month. I heard there will be one in Pampanga, Naga, Cebu and CDO. You'll also get to win prizes, take advantage of promos and merch. They're not stopping there, because activities will be continuing til the end of the last quarter.

WORLD GIN DAY Celebrations Kicked Off by GSMI

Thirsty? Me too, and I really dread not going to this event by Ginebra San Miguel Inc. a few nights ago in Makati City. It's World Gin Day and what better way to celebrate it in the Philippines but by dishing out finely crafted drinks, designed, localized with products from GSMI. With some of the best bartenders in the country, they made different drinks for the media to try. Fret not people, because just like the ones experience by these people, you too would get the chance to do the pub crawls in your own area.

There will be Gin Bar Crawls in Baguio via Cowboy Town, One Piece Bar, Moeging, Yankees, and Tavern Rose. In Rizal and Marikina, there's Upper Level, Hippers Antipolo, Hippers Marikina, Barkada Treats, Padi's Point too. In Naga City, there's gonna be one in Bora Hut, Hive and Seek, El Gabino's, Momotz, and in Gabi's Diner. If you're in Cebu, don't be sad because you can enjoy drinks in Southscape, Kwikspar 1 and 2, Werpa, and Plaza ni George. For those who are down south in Davao, there's one in Base Camp, Chick and Chill, Whatever, Dox and Emok's. This will all happen on June 11, 17, 18, 24 and 25 from 6PM to 12MN, so time to set that long awaited session with the whole gang right?

CHIE FILOMENO The New GINEBRA SAN MIGUEL Calendar Girl for 2022

Looks like Ginebra San Miguel is beginning this December with a hot surprise as they launch the new Ginebra San Miguel 2022 Calendar Girl. We did the next best thing to see her, just sat down, got our cocktails, chilled and watched the show unfold on GSMCALENDAR2022.PH this evening.

No surprise, they announced who it was... and she's Chie Filomeno. Ginebra's calendar girl Chie has a lot of history with the brand. Every year, they've chosen exemplary Filipinas seen with their character to follow the ganado, matapang persona that the brand stands for. She serves an inspiration to a lot of people. She's a modern woman, and was chosen the values that Ginebra stands for, a never say die spirit.

Chie says "I can really feel the love today. I feel so happy that I was chosen to be the GSM Calendar Girl for 2022. Thank you, I am overwhelmed. I remember talking to my RM about this, we were being casted, only 2 left to be chosen for this campaign. I was having lunch with friends when the message came, I am super happy! After getting the note, I worked out everyday. We really prepared for this shoot. It's not just being sexy, it's being strong, taking care of what's inside. I received a lot of social media bashing in the past, I had to be feisty, we're human, I had to be a strong woman, very rational in that sense. My family gave me hope. Knowing that they're inspired by me, my fans graduate, they message me, and it's so good to know I inspire real people. I hope I get to inspire more, give hope, it's what we need these days. On GSM's 188th year, I am so happy to be part of their history. I am glad to be your GSM Calendar Girl for 2022."

2021 GINEBRA Jersey and Cap Collection Launch "Bagong Tapang sa One Ginebra Nation"

This is one of the most awaited events of the year and because of the pandemic, things have not been as normal as they should be. Ginebra San Miguel won't be beat so they now are launching the 2021 Ginebra Jersey and Cap Collection which was done through a live stream on their official Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/BarangayGinebra. This is their first virtual launch dedicated to all their consumers and appearing during the event are Ginebra superstars #5 LA Tenorio, #6 Scottie Thompson, #47 Mark Caguioa, #11 Stanley Pringle and #25 Japeth Aguilar. Participating products include GSM Blue, Ginebra San Miguel Premium Gin, Vino Kulafu, Ginebra San Miguel, Primera Light Brandy, and Anejo Gold Rum. The challenge of the bubble conference of the PBA also was hard for all the professional basketball players and the Ginebra Kings is also part of that. The experience of doing the bubble made them even closer as it forced them to live together for the duration of the conference. They even dedicated all their games to their loved ones, and to the thousands of fans they have across the country. The players also are hopeful that everything would be back to normal, and wish for everyone's safety.

Now how do you get the Jersey and Caps? What do you need to do to get one?

We're still under lock down in Manila and everyone is experiencing hardships til now. It's hard to stay sane when people can't find work to put food on their table and it doesn't just affects them, but their whole family. We draw strength from our family, our friends, and we know that if we fall even so many times, we can still rise above these challenges with a BIGGER outlook on life, making sure we pick up the pieces and rebuild our businesses, our lives, and make sure our family is taken cared of. Ginebra also encourages to take well deserved breaks, so stay humble, and work our way up again. Ginebra San Miguel's Ginuman 2020 A Fun Event!

Thousands of people joined in the fun of this year's Ginebra San Miguel Ginumanfest 2020. Unlike the other years wherein there was merrymaking on the streets, in different towns and cities, the new normal forced us all to stay at home and celebrate here instead. Good thing these guys know how to party and yes, they did not shortchange anyone for entertainment. 

They started this livestream in the official Ginebra San Miguel Facebook page and broadcasted an online concert with a talk from the Barangay Ginebra Basketball team (which was so funny by the way), artists like Banda Ni Kleggy, Silent Sanctuary, December Avenue. 

Not only that, but after a few songs performed by the band, they got Ginebra girl Sanya Lopez sing Torete with them for the enjoyment of the online crowd!

Later on, Silent Sanctuary joined in and performed their greatest hits. Then after 3 songs, they got GSM girl Sue Ramirez to also perform, the online concert was just amazing!

Then for the finale, they got popular band December Avenue to end the festivities, then the piece de resistance, showing the new limited edition Ginebra San Miguel with the special edition frontliners design on the bottle. 

They say "Para Sa Tapang Na Tunay!" to make sure these unsung real life heroes get the recognition they deserve. This is good Ginebra! Hope you continue to inspire more people to help, hope we see each other in person during the Ginumanfest 2021!

GINEBRA: The Island Girl Calendar 2020

It looks like they are shining the spotlight on her, and she deserves it. In a grand launch tonight, kapuso actress Sanya Lopez was announced as Ginebra San Miguel's Island Girl to don the latest 2020 calendar, an honor given to only the most gorgeous Filipina women by this brand.

Claiming her rightful throne, the Island Girl Sanya was beaming. Obviously, God has spent a lot of time making her.

Ginebra’s executives deem this is like home because of the familiar faces of the press covering this event. This is officially their 32nd calendar girl, a bit historical because Ginebra has been in the PH since the late 1800’s and started this calendar girl tradition on 1988. They are celebrating this, their team in the PBA and how their calendar girl embodies certain qualities such as beauty, goodness and toughness. This is what they always think to encourage each other, to be strong not just for yourself but for others. Tonight they will be making a toast to the woman of the hour, Sanya Lopez.

The calendar this year is EXTRA SPECIAL because they will not just feature the beautiful woman, but also the beautiful islands of the Philippines!

She says “I don’t know if I’m going to cry, to be here in a Ginebra San Miguel calendar, I am just speechless! I couldn’t explain it, I am nervous, but thank you to Ginebra for trusting me. Thank you! I didn’t know about it until Artist Center told me, I am trying my best to follow Pia Wurtzbach, to hopefully also follow her footsteps. I made extra effort, a strict diet and extra workout in the gym.”
