SISTERS Welcome New Sis MEGAN YOUNG

She's still so beautiful and has a certain glow after giving birth to a baby boy, she's the one and only Miss World 2013 Megan Young. She is the new Sis of popular feminine hygiene brand Sisters manufactured by Megasoft Corporation.

Megan says "If I'm going to be honest, I didn't get to take care of myself after giving birth. Mikael was there when I was getting overwhelmed, and that reassurance from him got all my Mom guilt out of my system. Sometimes you just want to take care of everything but we have to learn to share the responsibilities. Now I get to taking care of myself and my baby. I always say I am a strong follower, but when he got injured I saw how I was able to lead. Sisters is a brand I truly believe in, and use too. We're happy to share this to other folks, my management knows about it."

She adds "My last project was Royal Blood, but I'm excited to take on new projects because now we can do content, a show with all of us together. For now there will be one parent with Leon, we want him to grow extra happy. We're mostly at home taking care of Leon, we have minimal time to go out but plan to travel with everyone soon because my baby already has his passport"

Megan wasn't briefed yet but so eager to be part of the school visits they do to teach those of age about feminine hygiene. She knows through experience how they often are too shy to be seen using pads which is a normal occurrence. This is also part of their efforts on Sister's 25th year anniversary. You will see Megan on activations, posters and commercials on their socials and TV.

MEGAN YOUNG Ecstatic About Working Again with MEGAN BEAUTY

 

It was such a beautiful afternoon to be in the midst of ladies clad in their best yellow ensembles for a luncheon, and beauty day together with Miss World 2013, Megan Young. It's been a while since I've seen her, and the last time I think was also an event. Today was sort of a celebration because MEGAN Beauty is renewing their ties with the gorgeous lady from Zambales, the one with a very kind soul.

They also dub this event as "Megaganda Ka Pa: Megan Beauties Day", to thank the countless people who have supported them all these years. With their namesake Megan Young as part of their endorsers, she felt like home for so many women who use the several products they have released. Though so beautiful, Megan doesn't even put makeup that much, only when work calls, and invests more on her skin. It shows, she has that certain glow that if you see her with or without makeup, she's still gorgeous. 

Lifestrong COO Ms. Marge Lee saw how ideal Megan young is to represent the brand. She does a whole lot more than just a beauty queen, she's also a model, host, vlogger, gamer, and wife to Mikael Daez. The epitome of grace, elegance, and being humble, that's exactly what Megan Young is. Of all the encounters I've had with her covering events and showbiz interviews, she's up there with the best and I believe it has been one of the reasons why she won Miss World 2013. It has been one elusive crown that the Philippines has never won and til now, she's hosted the show several times and still connecting with the organization. 

Recently in one of her vlogs, she was seen taking a few minutes doing her beauty regimen, a time to take care of herself with a peel off mask, an eye gel patch and facial foam wash from beauty brand Megan. She was adamant how effective it was and told the benefits of each product. Back then, she wasn't an endorser yet and when folks from Lifestrong Marketing Inc., they figured this was the opportune time to make her the brand's endorser.

The executives know she's the perfect representation of Megan Beauty. Megan has always been a champion for women empowerment and making true sense of "beauty with a purpose". REDOXON Now in the Philippines

The restrictions might have changed over the months in the country but that doesn't mean we have to be complacent in or out of our homes. Good news is, there's REDOXON now in the Philippines. I used to see this in other ASEAN countries but never here because there's popular one is Berocca. Little did we know, it came from the same company and they actually have different uses for it. Berocca is for mental and physical performance whilst this one is more on supporting your body's immune system. This has got Vitamins A, B6, B12, C and D. It also has Zinc, Iron, Copper and Selenium. They've been in the business since 1934 and if you lasted that long, you're probably good at it right?

Miss World Megan Young and Model/Actor Mikael Daez was also there in the event, telling us stories about their lifestyle choices. Dr. Leah Manio explained to us what Cholecalciferol means and says "It's a fancy word that only means Vitamin D3, much like the one you get when your skin is exposed to sunlight. You need this to absorb calcium in your body, and you can get this in fish oil and eggs (though you would need a lot to get needed amount)."

This is part of Redoxon's worldwide efforts to address immuno threats which is timely as we're still fighting a huge threat in health. This event is being attended by Asia's multimedia star Alden Richards, Queen Megan Young. Olympic Gold Medalist Hidilyn Diaz, restaurateurs Happy Ongpauco-Tiu and celebrity Marvin Agustin.

Miss World Megan Young "It's always my favorite dessert, and Magnolia Gold Label Ice Cream is different. When I won the Miss World crown, it was like a dream, a golden moment, it was like my crowning anniversary last month and I did it by getting a tub of ice cream. With it, I always think that anything is possible. Having Magnolia Ice Cream is a non negotiable for me when I go to the grocery. I feel I'm a proud pinoy with this world class product out there. Ice cream is comfort food, I love the Vanilla flavor, the Ube Queso. I love making Affogato and just scooping one huge ball and pouring espresso on top, it's amazing! Gold Medalist Hidilyn Diaz joined in and told us "I really love ice cream, it's like a piece of success. When I go through hard work, I take a moment and chill. It's a simple gesture, but I love the new creamy Magnolia Gold Label Ice Cream. I'm eating the Mango Dark Chocoloate right now, and I'll be trying the Ube Queso, and this is also a Filipino product, I am proud! I used to have a perspective of doing strict diets, but my dietician advised me to have cheat days, it's when I do eat a lot of ice cream. It's for my mental health, it's not easy doing what I do, it's a routine. I have to reward myself. When I go out with my family, we celebrate moments with it, I even eat in advanced before my cheat days because it's my reward."

Alden Richards entered the presscon and said "When I see something I like visually, I really try it. Even though I like the classic flavors, these days, they're diversified and the pinoy palate now enjoys Tablea, Avocado, and tons of Filipino favorites that you initially wouldn't really know would work actually does. It's really good combined, and I like the new Smores and Cookies and Cream, we're the kind that says later on... masarap pala! Like Magnolia, you should be courageous, you should try something new, jump into the unknown, even if you're not sure, you will learn what you can and cannot do when you try. You'll never know until you do. I like smores because roasted marshmallows in two graham crackers and chocolate that we used to see in campfires is now in ice cream form. It's like the taste actually contradicts each other, just combines great in your mouth later on. It's something that I do to relieve stress, my teleserye will come back this November and a movie with Bea Alonzo. There will be big announcements soon, I'm sure those who support me will love this!"

My Hometown is G.O.A.T. Philippines Premiering on AXN Asia

This morning was a nice way to reconnect with travel. The good people from AXN Asia and the Department of Tourism (Philippines) just launched their "My Hometown is G.O.A.T." series. It's an original wherein celebrities from the country showcase their part of the world and will premiere on November 4. Episodes will come out every Thursday and Friday at 8:30PM on AXN Asia (cable where available) and the AXN Asia YouTube Channel the Wednesday after at the same time. It will also be showcased in AXN Taiwan and AXN Korea on November 8 and 13th too.

Celebrities appering on the show include Miss World 2013 Megan Young, her husband vlogger, model and actor Mikael Daez, Miss Universe Philippines 2019 Gazini Ganados, Pinoy Sakuragi Marc Pingris, Basketball Superstars JC Intal, Jayjay Helterbrand and Rico Maierhofer. In the show, they'll be your companion and show you around their respective hometowns to give you a glimpse on why it's the G.O.A.T.! They will be showcasing it in 6 episodes, so make sure you're tuned in on those dates!

Mikael says "I'm the one being toured around Zambales and I hope the way I fell in love with my wife there, I fell in love with the place too. It's normal to have apprehensions, but the new normal meant we can still see the sights with protocols in place, safely not just for yourself but everyone around you. The first step is awareness, new safety protocols, once you know that, you can decide. We have different appetites in travel, just follow procedures. We have shown that it is possible to do it while staying safe at the same time."

Megan shares "This was the first time we had our child in the shoot. In San Antonio, we just took a banca and have a grand time even without electricity, just food and friends, it's a great way for us to bond and meet my personal friends. Honestly, when I grew up in Subic I only thought you could ride in the Subic Yacht Club when you are a member, I didn't know you could rent one and it was an awesome expereince!"

Marc Pingris says "I feel grateful being part of this show, I was given a chance to show my team mates how great Pangasinan is. I toured them in La Union, followed protocols, and had a great time. AXN Asia staff really took good care of us, we apologize to the fans that didn't have a chance to take photos with us because we had to follow protocols. I grew up in Pangasinan as a laborer, and going to La Union, the view was different, you just have to go there and experience it for yourself. Being with the boys was just a cherry on top, I hope I get to be there with my other brothers from PBA, we didn't have to go outside the country to see how beautiful it was."

Jayjay Helterbrand says "We need to revitalize the tours, being in the motorcycle in two wheels, we saw everything raw. We saw the skyline, riding along with our PBA buddies, more fun really awaited us during our experience there! They were very adamant about safety protocols, we were prepared ahead of time and they made sure we followed road safety reminders."

JC Intal says "It was super fun and very safe. I am looking forward to more of this!"

Rico Maierhofer "We had to use websites and apps of the LGU's, and we did it ourselves. We're athletes so we're not much of hosts, but AXN made us comfortable. It was an amazing experience! We're thankful that DOT chose us to travel there. It was amazing!"

Gazini Ganados "I was excited to relive my childhood and see my hometown and parts of it that I never thought existed. The hidden gems I found there, it made me realize that I never even have to go far. It was all there all along! We took all safety procedures even before we stepped on the plane. We were also taught protocols in case someone wanted to go near us. There are new attractions, floating restaurants, the beauty under water, it was a different world doing that. It was super fun to see that side of the world!"

That's just the tip of the iceberg, so make sure you watch the show. It was awesome to see them be excited to show their respective provinces. There's so much to see in the Philippines and I hope this is just the start!

Mikael Daez Thankful for his 11th Year with GMA

I remember Mikael Daez in Penshopee Denim Lab and other Philippine Fashion Week shows. I've been shooting runway for a couple of years and to say that his chiseled jawline is a dream for every guy til now. He still has that body, married Miss World Megan Young, still doing shows, vlogs, podcasts, and still is, an actor for GMA.

Seeing him so happy a couple of days ago in his home with Megan, Mikael was full of optimism when he signed once again with GMA. It's a contract renewal, on his 11th year, which he showed he was extremely proud of. And recent shows especially Love of My Life has been a hit, which means he's going to do more. They've got plans already but as the interview progressed... we couldn't squeeze it out of them. That's just  a sign we're bound to be surprised about what he's going to do in the next few years.

I wish Mikael all the best! He deserves all of these, because he's been a good guy.

Miss World Philippines Kicks Off Search This 2017

Having been able to witness how we won last 2015, rightfully so with Megan Young, Miss World 2017 is breaking new ground in this year's competition. 

Miss World National Director Arnold Vegafria wants to make this year bigger, trendier and showcase Filipino culture. He says "I am honored and privileged to make Miss World Philippines bigger and better this year. We're looking forward to continue showcasing Filipina beauty with a purpose to the world stage as we take one what the Miss World Organization has been doing all these years and continue helping with their goals. They are still the longest running major international pageant since 1951, and we've never been more proud to have had one this 2013 with Ms. Megan Young. 

We will also be introducing three new titles this year called "Miss ECO Philippines", "Miss Multinational" and "Reina Hispano Americana Filipinas". Mikael Daez Plays Laser Tag with Fans

I've been shooting this guy since his Penshoppe Denim Lab, Philippine Fashion Week, also Wrangler days and he's one of my favorites because of his chiseled looks, pronounced jawline, which is one thing that's so hard to find in models nowadays. Would you believe it's already been 6 years since he has joined show business? Yeap, 6 years. He's been on different shows, countless TV and print ads, shows he's hosted or programs he's acted in, but it looks like he's not going to show any signs of slowing down. He's been blessed, even more because he's still very driven to improve his craft, learn from this experience and perhaps catch a love bug pretty soon.

It was his birthday last January 6, which we knew he was probably busy. GMA Artist Center, his sponsors and adoring fans wanted to have at least one day of fun with the Kapuso artist.

He says it was actually a regular thing to be with fans as he really tries to do this every year. In some way, he feels celebrations like these are actually things that he does to thank them for all the support they've given him. He's one very humble guy!

Mikael Daez Shows Love on Blog and Vlog

Passion is sometimes downplayed as dangerous rather than being adventurous. Mikael Daez begs to differ. He's been traveling to different places, has gone thousand of miles away from home but still stays very basic. What brings him to these other countries is his love for culture, to see what's different out there and perhaps learn a thing or two about their culture, then make it his for a while.

I've been really asking about the status of their relationship (his latest post says it all), apparently the current title is "travel buddy" and "friend" but they look like a real couple and I'm not convinced LOL (but personally I think they're a pair - please don't quote me on that cc: Ms. World Megan Young). Although adventurous by default, Mikael Daez wants live life to the fullest. He even wants to take as many people with him as possible on these trips (so imagine how expensive that would be LOL). He's now harnessing the power of social media too and he's putting it all in his journal, his own website www.mikaeldaez.com and his Youtube channel Youtube.com/MrMikaelDaez.

It's fun to see him outside the studios, raw, just feeling the place's vibe as he gets to eat the food, meet the people and see the places he's been to. You kinda envy him, but somehow make it your goal to someday, some way, you'll find a way to travel there and feel it too. You should check out his notes on the website and read how he runs his life with passion, you kinda also see how he's so engulfed in this flame he calls life.

Congratulations Miss World 2013 Megan Lynne Young!

I'd like to take this bit and congratulate Megan Young for winning the Miss World beauty pageant which was held in Bali, Indonesia. You made the whole Philippines proud! 

Solaire Resort and Casino was also the official residence of the Miss World Philippines pageant held this year. She also won a special award as Ms. Solaire Resort and Casino during that night as part of the other 9 awards given to her. They already knew she was bound for greatness!

Mr. Donato Almeda who is the current Board of Director for Solaire Resort and Casino has this to say after that momentous win;

"On behalf of the management and staff of Solaire, I extend my heartfelt congratulations. At the Miss World Philippines coronation we knew you would be the strongest contender yet.
